Not an employment agency. Listed incorrectly. Contracted with the County for people who are on welfare/GAIN or GR

Beware of National Event Staffing…read more I want to share a highly unprofessional experience I recently had with National Event Staffing to warn others in the industry. I was told (by Zendy - project manager) to consider myself booked for an event and was even asked to refer others--which I did as a favor. Despite multiple follow-ups, my emails and texts went ignored. Then, at 4 AM on the day of the event, I was abruptly informed that my services were no longer needed. No explanation, no apology--just a generic "hey there" message. The two people I referred? They got the same last-minute cancellation with zero communication beforehand. Meanwhile, my inquiries the night before were completely ignored. This is not how professionals should be treated. If you're considering working with National Event Staffing, be cautious. Unreliable communication and last-minute cancellations can leave you scrambling. To my fellow event staffers--have you had a similar experience? I have emailed them at least a dozen times telling them not to contact me again, and it has continued to persist for over a year. No legitimate agency will make you pay a fee to access job listings; that should be your first sign that this company is a joke. Oh well. I just filed a complaint with the BBB, and currently working on one with the FCC. You mess with the bull, you get the horns. **Response to Janice:** Hi Janice. Clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of an email you don't want to receive is standard practice. Pretty much common sense, actually. So, yes; I tried that. The issue is, your company shouldn't be emailing me in the first place. I NEVER gave you permission to contact me. You said yourself that I've never signed up for any gigs through you, or even have an account, so how did you get my email address in the first place if you didn't steal or buy it from a third party? SPAMMERS. I stand by my statement. Anyone with 1 eye can read the negative reviews about this company that are scattered across the internet. Start with brand ambassador agency review groups on Facebook. It's simple: remove my email address and don't contact me again.
