I scheduled an appointment for 11:00 a.m. and was told at check-in that the care team was running about an hour behind. I returned at 12:00 p.m., only to wait an additional hour and fifteen minutes. Once I was finally brought back to a room, I was told the wait would be even longer, with no estimated timeframe provided. The lack of communication from the front desk was extremely frustrating and made the entire experience feel disorganized and disrespectful of patients' time. I understand delays can happen--especially around the holidays--but clearer updates and transparency would have gone a long way. I would not recommend booking an appointment here during busy periods and will not be returning. read more

Loyal Patient Publicly Humiliated and Denied Care Due to Their Billing Error! I've been coming to CareSpot for over 3 years.The Fleming Island locationfor nearly 1 and a half years;averaging about six visits a year, and up until now, all of my bills have been paid without issue,i go in for the same exact issue every time. A visit in 2022 and 2023 was not billed correctly and it was submitted with insufficient information to my insurance company, bear in mind I go in for almost the same issue most times,so I know my insurance definitely covers these treatments.My insurance company has reached out numerous times to get the records, but carespot has ignored the requests,so it shows as unpaid, unpaid due to their negligence.I even called this year asking them to please send the insurance The requested documentation, but nothing. My most recent experience was nothing short of humiliating and unprofessional. I was denied medical treatment due to a billing issue caused entirely by CareSpot's failure to send requested documentation to my insurance company. The insurance clearly stated in writing that they were waiting for medical records from CareSpot that were never provided--yet instead of resolving the issue, the staff insulted me in the lobby and refused to treat me. Despite my long history as a loyal and responsible patient with no unpaid balances, they treated me like I was trying to dodge a bill. This was not just poor customer service--it was a complete disregard for human decency and basic medical ethics. If you care about respectful treatment and responsible billing practices, I highly recommend going elsewhere. No patient should ever be denied care due to a provider's own administrative negligence. read more

Do not go here. The female PA was very rude. Had an appointment for 2:00, was finally called back and during vitals told the nurse I was pregnant as I was coming in to check out a foot injury thinking it might need an X-ray. 30 minutes later, the PA came in and said she cant do any imaging because of the pregnancy (which is fine if that's the policy). Did not even look at my foot or suggest how to help. When I asked why this wasn't mentioned prior to waiting over an hour, she made snarky comments back about how she was overwhelmed with patients. There was nobody in the waiting room when I got called back. Policy is policy, but communication is lacking, personal skills are lacking, and now I have no idea if my foot is fractured or just a sprain after giving them a copay and far too much time. read more

Military, medic and medical administrator, 21 years experience: No problem with the healthcare provider, the system itself, or the people who work here directly, but ad to have my Labs drawn 3x because whoever they use to run the tests dropped the ball and neglected to run the test that were ordered, or the ones that were run were inaccurate... sorry but THE BUCK STOPS HERE where I got my blood drawn. Great walk-in and always caring for what ails you. This has become our go-to when there isn't time to get an appointment to see the PCP.

Rude customer service. Heavy curly hair lady in the front is rude. Tells ppl who gets seen and who doesn't. And when you get to the back .. it f you can get to the back. they ask you why your there. And make you feel like you should t be there. & why you don't go to a primary doctor instead. This place is just a money grab they don't examine anyone. They just throw pills at you and take your blood pressure maybe. Warning go somewhere else that's credible. read more

They are still using the "patient only" rule citing COVID 19. If you have a child that is over 18, you will not be allowed to go in the examine room, and they are rude! Dr wasn't very helpful or companionate and told her to look up her diagnosis rather than explain it. There is a sign up front telling you to be kind! What a joke read more

Absolutely the worst place ever when it comes to organization. They requested proof of insurance which was provided. Then they said in their system it was not valid (weird since I've never been here) I called the insurance company in front of them and they offered to email something and they would only accept fax. In 2022 who still uses a fax machine even better Marcus said he would not take any documentation from me because he couldn't trust it. Even after he literally heard me on the phone with the insurance company. Then when he received the paperwork he still wouldn't accept it!!!! Absolute worst Experience ever!! I feel blessed that they were open last weekend when i needed to be seen ASAP. Staff was prompt, friendly & professional and addressed my needs right away. Giving one stars is being generous. At the beginning of the visit interactions with the doctor and front staff were fine. I had given a urine sample to see what was causing the pain I had and was told I had to wait five days before the results would come back. On the fifth day I received a text saying there was nothing wrong with me. I was still in an immense amount of pain so I decided to login online and check my lab results myself. Thank goodness I did, because there was definitely something wrong with me. During the first visit I was only prescribed three days worth of antibiotics and I was told that if results came back positive, then I would be given additional antibiotics to beat the infection. I had to call the clinic to question why I received a text message saying I was fine, when my results are definitely not fine. Then I had to ask for the additional antibiotics that I was promised. I was told the doctor had to look at the results and he would call me with questions. I called back three times because I had never received a phone call with assured that I would before closing, which never happened. The next day I called again and was told I needed to follow up with my primary physician if I wanted any additional antibiotics. I again had to fight with a clinic that I had already paid services to to get a freaking anabiotic. They finally said what they would call in for me and when I showed up to the pharmacy it was STILL WRONG. If you want any kind of decent help, definitely do not go to this location. They are a waste of money. read more
