The NP was great as well and the whole visit was a good experience. I would definitely recommend them to others.

He's a very caring doctor with a great bedside manner, and he has a great staff including another doctor and two PAs. This business was an "urgent care center" before the genre was even known as that, and it's very good in that regard. This clinic will work with you in any way they can in terms of insurance or payment upon services rendered, although it is important to note that they do not handle worker's comp patients. The waiting room is clean and well lit, and exam rooms are plentiful. They don't keep really late hours like a CareNow or the like, but if you can visit when they're open, I think you'll like the experience.

Absolutely hate Baylor. They are so difficult to work with for basic things like scheduling and…read morerescheduling an appointment. You get dumped into a call center and have to reverify all of your information again, including insurance coverage, just to reschedule an appointment. AND they run your insurance again to make sure you're still eligible before they will reschedule an appointment. When the call hit 16 minutes with no resolution in sight I told the girl to cancel the appointment and I would find a PCP outside of the Baylor system. I don't want to talk to a call center. I want to speak to someone in the doctor's office and be able to reschedule an appointment in 5-7 minutes. Already sent my feedback to your patient relations team. They defended your process as necessary. Checking insurance again before rescheduling an appointment tells me exactly what Baylor's priorities are - money, not patient care.

I ended up waiting 40 minutes past my appointment time before being seen. If appointments don't actually reserve a time slot, then what's the point of making one? Patients plan their day around these scheduled times -- work, meetings, and other commitments. There seemed to be no regard for the value of patients' time or any communication about the delay. I understand that healthcare settings can get busy, but being that far behind without explanation defeats the purpose of scheduling. Very frustrating experience and not what I expected from a service that promotes convenience.
