Our dog Ivar has been to other daycares and always came home cranky, moody and when it came time to drop off... he didn't want to go. With Central Bark, he doesn't even hesitate, and he comes home happy, tired, and excited to go back! We recently used their overnight boarding services while we were out of town getting married and I felt silly for even worrying the slightest that he would be safe and have good time. I got multiple updates everyday (photos and Kim answered all my questions), I actually felt bad for picking Ivar up and ruining his weekend of fun!

We started our training and education well before we brought our puppy home. Holly has been understanding and informative and what a great teacher she is. Our family puts holly on a golden pedestal, a little over the top, to some maybe be to us, no. She will tell you she wants to create balance one dog at a time and that she does. I can sit here all day and rave till the cows come home. Training a dog comes with a ton of work and effort, Holly has shown us how to create balance with our dog Lacey. LACEY IS being trained for support work, her genuine caring personality and love for dogs has brought us here. We have got where We are with Lacey because of her dedication. I hired Silvana one week after I got my dog as a puppy (10 weeks), she came in each day to give him lunch and take him for a pee break around noon. As he got older he would go to the off-leash park with her but on a very long led until he had good recall (he is a beagle and his nose could have gotten him into trouble) and he came when called. Silvana is very caring and treats the dogs as if they were her own which is great because my dog is more like my child then a pet, just ask anyone that knows me. It is like having a child in daycare each day I get a note telling me about his outing. Sometimes we see her in the off-leash park on the weekend and my dog has to think about whether he is going to come with me or go with her he loves her also. If you are looking for someone that really cares about the well being of your pet (fur baby) I would truly recommend Bow Wow & Meow.

My cat has a somewhat specific feeding routine that Melanie was happy to accommodate, and even offered to purchase some pumpkin for him when I realized the next day that I had forgotten to pack some with his things. A Feline Inn offers to pick up and deliver your cat for you, which I found extremely helpful. Melanie also gave me an update on how my cat was doing the day after she picked him up, and also updated me on how he fared and that he seemed in good health when she dropped him off. A Feline Inn is very understanding about cat owners being nervous about leaving their cats, and does a great job of helping to alleviate some of that anxiety. My cat came back seeming happy and well cared for. This will certainly be my go-to place for any future cat hotel needs!

On a Friday my vet in Edmonton was closed, my…read morealternate vet couldn't see us until late in the day, the emergency vet wasn't answering their phone/ not open, and I was leaving for Calgary ASAP. I contacted Dr.Kimura to see if she could see my cat, and was happy to let me know the clinic was open until 6, and they would be happy to help when I arrived. I've known Dr. Kimura for what seems like decades... we met through love of ferrets, and generally all critters. I've seen her stitching up two loving fur sibling K9's on Christmas Day that didn't want to share the turkey... She will do whatever she can to keep your critters happy and healthy. As Dr. Kimura was away today, but her partner in clinic care, Dr. Jan was in and was so kind to my creaky old lady - adopted 2 years ago at the age of 20 when her owner passed away. Seems the urgent care vet last night in Edmonton missed an abscess on her jaw from a bad tooth. Thankfully, I am reassured after some pain meds, sub-Q fluids, antibiotics and a plan to get my little fighter back in fine form. Yes, yes she growled at the lovely Dr. Jan, and then came for cheek skritches after. All the staff were on the ball and extremely caring & helpful. I will bring her back for very special geriatric dental work on a return trip in a couple of weeks. Many thanks team!
