To be honest, I don't think this is the nicest card store around, but I love it because it has fast, available postal service (it's open seven days a week). The owner is almost always behind the post desk at the very back, running around like a mad woman, but still taking time to say hi to her regulars. I also use this place if I ever need a fax machine because it's convenient and sometimes they'll even send the fax for free (but only if you're patient and nice). Other than that it's got the basics; a good selection of cards, small gifts, and all the postage packaging and envelopes you'll ever need. One stop! That's what I'm talkin' about!

A stationary shop that has high quality items and local products from external artists - think…read morestickers, notebooks, etc. I wandered in here not thinking I needed anything, but was so pleasantly surprised by the variety of things they had! They're a specialty store as the store name would suggest, they're selling everything from high quality pens, to markers, to booklets, and more. To my surprise I found the inky white gel pens I've been using for my colouring books, and bought 3 different coloured ones. They were well priced and I was so happy to support a local shop! Customer service here was also top notch, with very homey vibes, and friendly staff.

So, when I found myself early for a doctor's appointment, I "accidentally" took a detour that led me right here. For those planning a more deliberate trip, it's less than half a block north of College Ave, right off the Grace St stop on the 506 streetcar. The shop has a huge selection of fountain pens and fountain pen paraphernalia and a solid range of washi tape, pens and quality notepads, including Rhodia and some nice Japanese brands. My quest for Uni Jetstream pen refills and some Traveler's Notebook swag came up empty, which I'll chalk up to it being January, prime "sold-out-of-everything" season for anything planning related. Despite that, I didn't leave empty-handed. I picked up a Life Noble Note Section A5 grid notebook, (a new brand for me) and a beautiful Zebra Sarasa Clip 3-color pen. The prices were quite reasonable, even beating some I've seen on Amazon. I also scored some 2026 Midori monthly diary stickers from the closeout cart near the register, which felt like a real victory. I'll definitely be back in a few months to check for restocks. It's a great little spot with some quality finds.

The spacing store is one of those places that I like to keep secret, because not a lot of people…read moreknow about it. And, this is a shame because everyone should know about it. However, at the same time the gifts that I can buy there are so unique that people have no idea where they came from and so you get a lot of social credibility from it. That said, if you are looking for beautiful art prints of all the neighborhoods in toronto, you can come here. If you are looking for passports to Toronto libraries, or cafes, you can come here. If you are looking for children's books about the city, or TTC related clothing and pins, or niche Toronto merchandise, this is the best store in the city. You're not going to find any better patches to sew onto your coats or bags, any better keychains, magnets, books on local history, or even games. The store is absolutely worth your time. And, if you are showing some guests around toronto, it is worth stopping in here too. Plus, it's on such a perfect walking tour of the city that why would you pass it up?

What a lovely shop! Unlike those random run-down souvenir…read moreshops around the city which sell ordinary Canadian things like maple syrup, maple cookies, smoke salmon, or key chains, this shop carries stylish, memorable, and unique items that you want to give others to introduce to Toronto! The store is in an art hub building @ 401 Richmond, carefully selecting Canadian and Toronto-themed souvenirs/gifts designed by local artists. Bought a tea towel with different TTC station signages. It was for a person who was leaving Toronto :) It was a big hit! Feels good when I can give a Canadian gift that I knew would be appreciated, and I would also like to receive from others :).
