I was contacted by a lady with an offer to service my car through email. When I requested booking information she said she would pass my phone number to another lady in order for her to contact me. 3-4 days later the first one asked me if I had been contacted to which I replied no. Her answer? She will tell the manager. In no way, shape or form, did they actually schedule or attempted to schedule an appointment for me to service my car with them even though they reached out first. I ended up calling and leaving a voicemail to which there's been no reply for a few days as well now. My husband called with another question, and a lady over the phone said they'll contact him. It's been a couple of days since then. We ended up picking another Mazda dealership that took care of us immediately unlike Cardinale. read more

I feel like a three is being generous but I can at least say it was easy to make an appointment and I had a place to work while the car got fixed. I do think that the sales people seem friendly but the service manager could do with a little training when it comes to customer service. So I came in for my scheduled appointment and I mentioned that I already knew what the issue was but they insisted that they needed to run a diagnostic first. It wasn't made clear to me that if I got the diagnostic which was $200 and then stayed there for the repair that the fee for the diagnostic would be waived which probably would have annoyed me less besides the guy's general attitude. Because I was like I know what the issue is and like can't you just open the hood and look at that or test it. And I was told my guys don't work for free. I didn't say anything about them working for free I didn't want to waste money on stuff that I didn't need. So I let him do the diagnostic because the car was a death trap. They do the diagnostic and lo and behold it's exactly what I said. He gives me a price which I definitely think was way over what the part cost and what labor should cost. I know it's something that takes about 20 minutes to fix and replace. But I had called another shop and they wouldn't be able to get the part until much later so since I was already there I was like fine whatever. So it was almost $700 to get this sensor that probably cost about 90 bucks at AutoZone but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt that I actually needed the actual Mazda sensor. It takes maybe less than an hour. By the way I was also supposed to get some type of video that showed me what was wrong with issue. It didn't show anything with this sensor. He went on a list of different things that were wrong with the car that totaled $7,000 but didn't even talk about the sensor or show how they tested it. Not to mention I had to ask for it three times. Apparently it was sent to a wrong number. And then when I received it it had the wrong car model. It said a Mazda 5 which is not my car. So anyway I'm overcharged for labor and parts which is what I expected from the dealership. Mostly the car is fixed it still rattles which they told me where the mounts okay I'll buy that but it's been running. Less than 3 weeks later my splash guard falls off which now I'm thinking after the diagnostic they broke some of my fastenings or didn't correct it properly so now I'll have to take care of that too. I never had any issue with that and the only work I've had done is at the dealership so just saying. And I would go back to the dealership if I thought that they wouldn't give me attitude or deny that it was them. It might be easier to just go to discount tire since I need my tires rotated anyway and have them reattach it. So I kind of think it's a scam to go to the dealership and I also don't think the service guys are really good at customer service. But I guess that's my fault for not having the tools to have been able to do it myself read more

They tack on thousands of dollars of add ons like "special coatings", "door edge protection", etc. Suddenly the price is not so great. And don't ask to have the car shipped. Their price is over double the prices I found online. Once they have your phone number they won't take no for an answer. Very long post but i need to provide all the details so they do not attempt to lie to save face. I didn't want to post a negative review, I would have much rather discussed this with the GM but since the GM is choosing to ignore my emails, here we are. I assume the reason he is ignoring this situation is because he condones the behavior, obviously. Tldr: go to the other mazda dealership unless you want to potentially be put in situations that will stress you, dealing with a incompetent and rude manager, and overall staff. Customer service here apparently only exists when you want to buy a car, not when you have actual issues. After purchasing 4 cars over the last 5 years through this dealership and receiving a hostile voice message from their service department manager, Brad, I can not recommend supporting a business who obviously condones that behavior especially when trying to discuss the situation with the GM, whom never called me back or responded to any of the 3 emails that i sent for the sole purpose to discuss this situation. Apparently he is too busy to concern himself, or just doesn't care. I don't know because I haven't been able to discuss it with him. Getting told I'm holding a loaner car hostage while being hostile on a voicemail is not only unprofessional, but was flat out disrespectful. All because Mr. Brad lacked communication from his team and was unaware of the situation, and couldnt spend 5 minutes to figure out what was going on. I dropped off my car on Monday, and received a loaner. So within 3 hours of me initially dropping off my car on Monday, the service dept told me my car was ready. This was not okay, they simply looked at my car to find if any mechanical parts looked off, drove it for 11 miles. Basically the same thing they did the first time i dropped it off a month prior. Though I still had issues with the car, and again was the reason I opened up the case with Corporate. The entire point of this drop off was so they can work with my assigned case manager to determine if escalation is needed and to work with Mazda Engineers (From his own words). They couldn't get a hold of the case manager assigned to this, so they basically wanted to get my car off the lot. Disregarding the whole reason it was there in the first place... my case manager told me to drop it off so he can work with them. That didn't happen. So I called Mazda Corporate the same day, made them aware and how my case manager is MIA. They put me on hold telling me they were calling the service department to open a hotline ticket. Which means the service department would be working with mazda engineers directly. After doing so, she told me that she was able to reach the dealership and that this hotline ticket was opened, and I will get a call back from my case manager in the next day or two. Tuesday goes, no call. Come Wednesday, I never received a call so that's when I called the dealership later in the day to confirm status. They told me no service reps were available, and asked if they can call me back tomorrow (Thursday), and i agreed to it. Spoiler alert: they never called. From Corporate to the Service Department, I've been told I'd get a call back on 4 different occasions and not once did it happen until Friday. On Friday, service dept called telling me my car was ready and that there's nothing wrong with it. I'm under the assumption they worked with Mazda Engineers due to the hotline ticket so I asked if I could pick it up on Saturday, to which they said yes. The very next morning I get a voicemail from Brad basically demanding I pick it up right away and I need to stop holding the car hostage. As if I didn't just speak to someone the day prior with a plan to pick it up... its because he didn't know, which is what he told me when I called him back. Absolute insanity. The icing on the cake is the general manager not returning my emails. Not once has he acknowledged what happened. The finance manager, Andrew, who sold me this car when he was a salesman decided to ignore me when he said he would talk to his GM to contact me. Shocker! Best part of this is that the case handler got back to me 2 weeks later telling me a hotline ticket was never opened.. so the lady I spoke with from corporate either lied to me or he did. Avoid this dealership and instead go to the Jerry Seiner Mazda if you really want to get one though I'd recommend a different brand completely. Mazda fell off hard with their new CX90's which is why they had over 30 recalls, probably why this all happened. They don't want another recall due to crappy MPG, it would cost them millions... A few weeks later, I helped a friend purchase a 2023 CX-5 Turbo at Findlay Mazda. She paid $40,000. It took all of 30 minutes to negotiate the deal. CardinaleWay Mazda Sales Manager David Keyvan knew we were a long-time customer of CardinaleWay Acura, yet he saw it fit to charge $2,404 more for the CX-5 than Findlay did while adding double the documentary fee ($999.50) and a $1,243 "Pro Package" with largely useless features. I have attached an image of both sales contracts, so you can compare them for yourself. CardinaleWay Mazda also claimed we owned a car eligible for a $500 Mazda "conquest cash incentive," knowing fully well that neither of us owned a 2014 or newer car required to qualify for the incentive. Says Keyvan in an email response, "I will never be ashamed of selling a car to my customer at MSRP." How about $2,404 above MSRP, plus inflated documentation and accessories fees? Oil change took about 2 hours for a 7am appointment. Reasonably priced. About $90 for full synthetic and includes tire rotation and car wash at no additional charge. They recommended $3,500 worth of work on my old car that's worth about $2,000. They explained how each recommendation would affect the car and ultimately said none was necessary in the short-term. The honesty is appreciated. There is a comfortable waiting area with wifi, cushy chairs, TVs, a fancy coffee/latte machine and twinkies. I am bummed to say I now feel like all they care about is getting a car sold. This is an updated review. I understand businesses get busy and I've been very patient to where I took my car in 3x at the given time (they told me come in any time between 7-11 on Thursdays, which I did, but was told the guys went home early???) and got turned away to get this fixed... When I purchased my car, the car goes through getting detailed, right? Well, I was asked if everything looked good, and I never thought I'd catch anything but somewhere between purchase and my car getting detailed, it has been scratched. I was happy that they said they'll take care of it... but instead, they just covered up that scratch with paint. I was told they didn't know the scratch was that bad and it would cost them more than expected. Also dealt with a few other things where it took me having to walk in to talk to someone... I'm tired of following up with Mazda. I may just have to accept this "fix." I wish I could return my car... I don't want any business with Mazda. Sales wise, haven't experienced it. This review is in regards to service. First of all, dont ask for help from the service advisors. They cant advise for shit and they dont know jack shit. I only received help from Matt Haverkamp but overall his understanding and knowledge of Mazda cars is just as low as a sales person. Second, they dont allow direct communication with Mechanics. I needed my electrical steering computer reset since i personally installed a new system and module so i just needed my system to recognize it. But they had no idea what i was talking about even though their Mazda and they definitely have the Mazda IDS program?! Did they hire their mechanics from off the street? I think all they know is oil change and coolant flush, which everyone knows. Honestly if your car is older then 5 years, they dont know jack shit. Bc they'll quote you $200 an hour just to find the problem, then they'll give you the real quote for doing the actual job. read more

This place is flat out terrible. I bought my car from here about 3 years ago. They promise you all these guarantees before you buy the used car and then you get a half ass done car. When I got the car the scratches on the car were barely covered, the buttons on the mid console were all sticky from type of liquid and now have horrible oxidation on my front hood like I had it for like 8 years. Another thing is thatI bought the warranty and that hasn't covered jack. Everything is wear and tear if you have a problem or bumper to bumper. I bought the warranty for 3k and it hasn't covered anything. I had brake problem and they tried to charge me 900 for the brakes pads and the service. Also 1800 for the battery terminal and the whole harness. They don't sell the battery terminal fuse alone so you have to buy the whole harness for the engine and it's $1800. These dudes are thieves. They tried to tell me my friend is not capable of fixing the car bc it's electric but he fixed everything for less than $200 . Don't trust these crooks. They only want your money and nothing else. They are always helpful. I did find out that I way over paid for my key fob replacement. But I have no complaints with the team. I also had my windshield wipers replaced. I will say that I do wish they'd go back to exterior car washes. Or at least that would have cleaned the windshield. Also I am not sure why my back windshield was dirty since I brought it in for front blades. I assumed they hit the back windshield lever by accident. On the sales end, Shane, Andy and Christian are helpful, but what ruined my experience (and is the reason for the 2 star rating) was the sales manager, David. I found him to be condescending and he made me feel like I do not understand how inflation and car prices work. I completely understand these things, and his treatment to a loyal customer was uncalled for. After not making a car sale with me because I decided to go elsewhere, I was duped into returning to this dealership on the guise that they would "come close" to the price I wanted. They would not specify the price until I came to the dealership. When I got there, the price was NOWHERE near close to what I wanted, and I just ended up wasting hours of my time going there. I called the Centennial Mazda dealership from the CardinaleWay parking lot and made my way over there to make the sale on my new car. Centennial Mazda met my price EXACTLY and gained a new customer. I bought a CPO Mazda3 Hatchback and the battery failed nine days after purchase. Despite being under warranty, I was told I had to pay for a new battery myself. I'm disappointed with the lack of support and being sold a vehicle with essentially, faulty equipment, especially after your claims of thorough inspections. I purchased a brand new 2024 Mazda CX5 at the end of December. I worked with Alex Garcia who sold me the car. He is seriously the best and the nicest person you'll ever ever meet! It took 15 minutes to negotiate the price which they price matched another dealership. I ended up purchasing from Cardinale Way instead of the other dealership because the price breakdown and the features of the car was explained better to me, which was important since I was a first time car buyer. Paperwork was drawn up and signed in about an hour. While I was car shopping I had to rent a car. It took a few days for my new car to be delivered to me, but in the meantime Alex told me to return my rental and he hooked me up with a loaner and drove it out to me and picked me up from the car rental place. About a week or two later, I ended up getting a surprise package in the mail- it really cool insulated coffee travel cup with delicious cookies as a thank you from the dealership. Everything from purchasing the car to the paperwork to the service department-- everyone has been so nice and accommodating. It has been a really great experience. I was so amazed at the level of customer service and I felt really taken care of! I've had my car for five months now and I love driving it every day. read more

So flash forward to now; after totaling my CX-5 I came back to Mazda looking to purchase another. This time I was a little indecisive because I thought I wanted something different but I knew I was in the right place. After looking through a couple new vehicles I realized I just missed my old CX-5, but I saw this sandy green color with black details and an interior of terracotta that just caught my eye. Andrew was so awesome and was able to accommodate my picky desires. Found ONE 2024 CX-5 carbon turbo in a near by state and i just had to have it. Of course i had to see it in person first. The car was delivered in about four days which we thought would take weeks. I just stopped by this afternoon to see it and instantly fell in love. I came in excited to buy a NEW car and had 10k I wanted to put towards the LOAN. Mazda did not do as I requested instead they used my $10,000 towards taxes and fees!!!!!! Never would I ever have taken hard earned money and just given it away! I would have been better off signing with the new car taxes and fees included and paid down my car loan nearly in half from the start without having to pay those ridiculous taxes and fees at a heightened amount! Of course there's nothing the Finance Dept can do for me as the return window of eight months has surpassed even though a couple weeks after I purchased the car I was told it's already been purchased, and there was nothing I could do about it! They charge a 3% fee for all credit card payments. On a $2000 charge, that would be an extra $60 for no reason. Car repairs are already expensive enough, without this bullshit. The receptionist agreed, and said it's been mentioned to the decision makers before. But apparently they haven't had enough complaints to make them care, or haven't heard them over the sound of additional money sucked out of their customer's wallets. The repairs and customer service are otherwise pretty good. But not this. Who has $1200 in cash immediately on hand? I basically never use my debit card, as if it gets stolen it links directly to my bank account. So.. one star, since this shitty policy is still in effect. If you come here, caveat emptor. read more

Y'all! When I say you shouldn't go anywhere else in town for a Vehicle, trust me. Kevin, Andrew and their team literally went above and beyond for my family and I. They provided red carpet/ white glove service. Everything from having a Starbucks ready for me on TWO occasions, to putting up with my husbands EXTREMELY hard request / budget. When I say this team went above and beyond to work a pretty much impossible dream come true, they literally did! Words can't even describe what they did for my family and I. Now we have the most incredible, safe, reliable car and are able to afford it on our income. I will not shop anywhere else and will be referring EVERYONE I know here. WOW! Let me start by saying that I've been searching for a new car for about 4 months. I had the same car for 5 years so it was a little ran down as you could assume. I was a little nervous walking into this dealership because I have been to many other dealerships alone and some sleazy car salesmen have honestly tried to take advantage of me or steer me in the complete wrong direction that would be best for me. As soon as I walked onto the Mazda lot I was greeted by Robert Chong. He was so friendly and genuine. We started a test drive and I fell in love with a 2021 Mazda 3. I couldn't believe it!
