From day one, our children have been encouraged to grow both academically and socio-emotionally. I love the values-based curriculum and inclusive chapel time--where all faiths are truly celebrated; I've even attended Yom Kippur and Diwali services there. My active son enjoys P.E. three times a week, and my daughter thrives on the frequent, hands-on field trips. We're also excited about the unique French Exchange program offered in 5th grade Even Chef Andy's fresh, delicious lunches have inspired my picky eaters to try new foods! They currently offer three languages (other than English) which are French, Spanish, and Mandarin (Chinese). The kids pick out one language other than English and are basically taught two languages during the school year. Children are awarded throughout the year in front of the school for specific traits the teachers notice and acknowledge. It's my opinion that the teaching staff are language Specialists from their part of the world and not qualified to teach academics here in the US. I'm basing this review on the experience of my 3rd grader home achieve quite a bit from a language standpoint but suffered academically; my wife and I decided to remove our child after several meetings with the head of school David and principal at that time whereas we were told that ISI could not meet our child's Advanced academic level of learning.

I liked that I was able to walk down to the bleachers on the main floor for better viewing. I noticed that concessions were still being set up at that time. The game was early, at 9am, so I brought my coffee from home and I was able to bring it in with me so I opted out on concessions. Overall, the gym looks taken care of and it's decent size.

Us students constantly feel watched over for every little thing we do and we should absolutely not be feeling this way as kids. Please do your children a huge favor and never bring them here. Mr day has, on multiple occasions, illegally terrorized students causing three lawsuits against the school. I am so disappointed that my high school experience has been ruined by attending here. This does not feel like a public school, more like an extremely strict private school (or jail). ZERO communication with parents... zero work sent home.... no weekly updates or emails.... hardly no daily grading or paper checking. I wasnt even allowing to come in and check things out for myself. Also...the teacher herself, Ms. Selerno, made it sound like my kid was such a problem child & constantly in trouble. But my kid would always explain to me later that she never listened when something was wrong or when someone else was the one picking & bullying her... but shed catch only the end of it... after my kid reacted, and only call out my kid every time. My 5 year old literally said she feels like her teacher dont like her. I was heartbroken she said that...which means she felt that. Even in class pictures of them working... that the teacher would post... i saw my kid was sitting in the back of the class with her chair facing AWAY from everyone. LITERALLY. But usually if a kid is always acting up or hard to stay on track... youd think they'd put them up front & keep them close. Thats when I made up a reason to pull her out immediately.
