Instead, when I tried to explain what happened, I felt like I was not given a fair chance to tell my side of the story. I understand that schools have to investigate incidents, but students should be allowed to explain themselves fully and feel like their concerns matter. My experience left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. I hope the school works on listening to students and handling reports more fairly in the future.

This is where I went to elementary school a few years ago. Okay... maybe more than a few years ago…read more This review is more about the outside of the school, including the baseball diamonds, playground and the basketball courts than the education I received while I was a student. It's a small school located on the southeastern edge of Montgomery County. School looks pretty much the same as it did when I was there except the trees have gotten a little bigger and the playground equipment has gotten smaller and "safer". No more metal and wood jungle gym or brown curly slide. Nope.. that's too dangerous for the kids today. It's been replaced with plastic equipment that seems tiny. I stopped by because I wanted a large space to practice drone flying in case I crashed, and the baseball diamonds at my old school always seem appropriate. The grounds have been updated and appear much nicer now.. electric scoreboards, announcer stand with speakers, electricity in the dugouts, etc. Lots of room for people to hang out and watch a game on the main diamond, and still an extra one in the back that the well-worn track runs around. It's a bit of a drive from Indy, but if the weather is nice, this is a peaceful place for a picnic (during the summertime when school is out, of course) or to practice flying your drone.

The amazing thing about Kumon is the pace. They expect students to work on a packet each day and then go for in-class testing and instruction two times each week. Mondays and Thursdays. During this time, the students turn in homework and do in class worksheets that are checked immediately for accuracy. The students are also timed. Overall, we are very pleased and have seen tremendous growth in our daughter. She was quite embarrassed to go at first, but the staff members are amazing and treat her with utmost respect.

I was forced to talk about my problems that I had at home in front of a group of girls, if I didn't talk about them I would get in trouble and sent to the principals office. Those girls then proceeded to make fun of me for the whole year about my problems and no one did anything. This school was absolutely terrible, the principal Mr.Ennis was the rudest person I have ever met. It wasn't until recently I realized what they made me do and how horrible my experience was. Please do not send your kids here.

A great elementary school for first through sixth graders located in Decatur township. The school…read moreis split down the middle into a blue academy and gold academy although some spaces are shared such as the cafeteria, bathrooms, etc. outside of the building there are two different playgrounds, which both have options for handicapped individuals as well as a Gaga ball pit at both playgrounds. There are picnic tables and benches all around the school if you're looking for somewhere to picnic outside and several different basketball courts. Lastly, there is a fitness trail that includes some exercises and stretches to do along with pull up bars. Take a visit and enjoy!
