Dr. Stevenson is absolutely the best surgeon I could have asked for to do my breast reduction surgery. I have been struggling with chronic back pain for over 20 years. Last year my pain was so bad that I went to see an Ortho Surgeon to consult about back surgery. He recommended a breast reduction first to see if we could eliviate the pain that I had been experiencing. My Neurologist also recommended a breast reduction to assist with reducing my headaches. After battling the insurance for months, I paid out of pocket for my consult with Dr. Stevenson and I immediately felt at ease. Dr. Stevenson never made me feel judged or "crazy." She acknowledged all of my concerns and immediately explained the procedures. She made me feel completely at ease. Once insurance got everything figured out we proceeded with the surgery in Jan. Needles to say I went into this surgery well informed, no fear, and even the morning of, when she was marking where the incisions would be, Dr. Stevenson made it feel completely effortless and left me with no worries of her competency and care. Dr. Stevenson is absolutely the best plastic surgeon that I have ever had for plastic surgery. I had breast reduction surgery over 20 years ago and the result wasn't aesthetically pleasing but I still had sensation in both breasts. Then in 2022 my breast became large and hanging after 19 years, so I decided to get a reduction and breast lift due to pain on my right breast side. I used the Chief of Plastic Surgery at a hospital in SC, and the results were the worst. My breasts were 2 different sizes, and my left breast lost sensation and I no longer have any sensation in the left breast. My breasts were so traumatized that it took 9 follow-up visits and 6 months to ensure the breast would heal medically and properly. The results were horrible, and I was really upset and depressed for a year. After a year of suffering, I look for a doctor and found Dr. Stevenson. Dr, Stevenson provided her professional advice, and surgery allowed me to feel look and feel great again. My breast has a great look, and I don't have any more pain. The surgery took about 2.5 to 3 hours, and I had no adverse reaction. She fixed two botch jobs with one surgery. Dr. Steveson and her team is best, and I would definitely recommend her services. I knew from the first interview with her concerning my asymmetrical lip that she was the right person to correct the imperfection on my bottom lip. I didn't experience any pain or discomfort during and after the surgical procedure. She is a professional and very knowledgeable in the field of cosmetic surgery. I am very pleased with my outcome! The surgery went extremely well the staff was pleasant and accommodating to my needs during the aftercare. Once home I received several calls one from the nurse from the hospital to check on me. Had medial thighplasty, no issues, still have moderate swelling 7 weeks post op but that's to be expected. When the swelling goes down I can tell the results will probably be great...had a lot of incisions bc there was a lot to take off, but the sutures held up nicely and have healed as good as they possibly could for the location.
