I had a great experience and (surprisingly) easy recovery with Dr. Rosenblum. I had a breast reduction and full tummy tuck (no ab repair) with liposuction (contour) 2 months ago. Dr. Rosenblum and his staff were wonderful to work with and were available to talk anytime I had a question. He did the surgery on a Friday morning and stayed well after closing to make sure I came out of anesthesia and was ready to travel home. Estimated time was five hours, but mine took seven. My pain level never got above a 2 (except the day I went off pain meds. The pain level was high [about a 6] for about 6 hours with ibuprofen). You are in a full, spanx-like garment for 6 weeks. It had a large cut out that made going to the bathroom easy. WEAR THE BINDER. I kept taking mine off, which caused me to swell. I bought a raised toilet seat and walker, but don't feel I needed either (I did use them the first couple of days). I had about 10 pounds of skin removed (from breast and tummy combined) and I had 3 drains (just for abs) below my pubic line in the middle. They clip to the garment and come out around 7 to 10 days, depending. Make sure you drink water or green tea to cleanse your system (and eat lots of protein and little salt)! The anti-nausea pill they gave me made me extremely thirsty, which helped make me drink more. I found a trainer in my area who delivered meals to my house that were high-protein, low carb ($112 for 7 lunches and 7 dinners). This helped make life easier and took some stress off my husband and kids. I am extremely happy with the results! I wasn't sure how small I wanted to go with the reduction, but Dr. R. removed the perfect amount (don't worry if you look flat at first. They evolve and drop with time.) The nipples were moved and I worried about lessened sensation, but I had feeling in them right away. The abdominal area and belly button look wonderful. After 2 kids (age 41), I couldn't be happier. Because you can't use your abs for quite a while, my advise is work out as much as possible before surgery to get your legs strong enough to counteract the effects (I did hot yoga 3 to 5 times a week). I was referred to Dr. Rosenblum by my best friend after having gastric bypass. After 4 c-sections and losing 160 lbs, my body was horrid! My stomach literally clapped as I walked. I went to Dr. Rosenblum to discuss my options. I decided to have a tummy tuck first, the results are amazing. I plan on going back to have my breasts (which currently look like deflated, misshapen triangles) lifted and implanted. Dr. Rosenblum has gone above and beyond my expectations and I have no doubt he will do the same with this surgery. Again, amazing results EVERY TIME! I have seen Debbie for lip injections and she did an amazing job as well. Totally natural look, just a little plumper. This office is the best. The entire staff knows what they are doing. I'm a pretty nervous person when it comes to my body and changes but with this staff I just kind of have to give them a general idea of what I want and they hit the nail on the head every time. I won't go anywhere else because I have seen some of the before and after pictures of other doctors in the area and I am not impressed. First, I would like to say THANK YOU. I am a mother of a 16 year old African American male. In his world appearance is everything and in 2014 his life changed. He was on a medicine that gave him female breast. After a long struggle with insurance companies, and disappointment after disappointment, I was lead to Dr. Rosenblum. Back on 4/5/17 I saw Dr. Rosenblum for my initial consult. I explained to him that I had lost 170 lbs due to Gastric Bypass and that I was just trying to have my breasts look "NORMAL" as they had lost mass and shape due to extreme weight loss.
