    Lack of sensitivity. Treats his medical staff with little respect....He is condescending has no compassion or empathy.

I've had such a great experience-with the front office ladies, and the doctor, But at the final end of the paperwork and everything else, I just couldn't handle the fact that she kept talking down to me and my husband and I was just done with this lady. Who I felt insulted us because we are insurance paid, told me my lipo is more expensive because of the fact I'm not paying out of pocket for my own BR.. it would be 1732 if I were, but since I'm not my lipo is 2045.... for just the abdominal area. I'm like, super offended, I felt she was talking down to us the whole time, told me that the doctor is only getting about $1700 for my procedure as it and she is so not making lipo any less expensive... it was just like who are you and why are you here;( the military discount shows on the website but it's not given to all, she made me pull it up ok the website, mind you my husband sitting right next to me in uniform. We were made to feel bad because we were asking for it, then it was again stated since he's already not getting paid much for my procedure I really shouldn't be getting the discount but since I was already upset she would take the $80.00 off but that's it. More and more insults kept coming. long story short I finally asked for someone else to finish my paperwork and I would get back to second young lady in regards to how long before we have to have the lipo paid for and a decision made. Give us time to think about it, at least for the night. Since all that was said was she would call me back in the am, the new lady never called so I called the next am and said we wanted to do the lipo but I had a few more questions, about traditional lipo if he felt I needed to do more lipo? Just because ANN had me all confused, upset, and made to feel like because I have insurance to pay it wasn't an okay, If I was asking questions it wasn't okay, that we were inconveniencing her with having to deal with our insurance paid selves. So I called again - few hours later that same day to see what was going on and why the prescriptions were not sent in and how I could pay for the lipo now that I decided to move forward, despite the poor communication and disrespect we encountered with ANN, the office sales manager. I was blown off numerous times and finally my last call was taken by the nurse and she stated I would need to sign more paperwork, and that Stacy the second girl we've been working with would call me back that she was at lunch. 2 hours later still nothing, so I just headed up to the office. I was immediately taken back by a gloating ANN, and left to sit in the back office for 15 mins to have DR. KANTER, Greet me with a letter not even a hello, he handed me a letter a week before my surgery saying he will not be able to do it based on mutual interests, which for me were not mutual. I felt comfortable, I felt safe and that we were i on the same page. Dr. Kanter never offered me a real reason except it was based on his " decision tree," that he came to that decision and that he felt uncomfortable. I said okay please help me with understanding how I can not repeat this in the future and he said I've made my decision, and I'm sorry. Never once offering a response. The office manager stood over me and it was a very intimidating experience and cold, something completely different from the fake Illusion that's offer at the beginning. Stay far away! If they will do it to one person they will do it again!

Dr. Kanter did nothing to resolve the matter and ignored my request to speak with him despite my appointment. Ann busted into my exam and began yelling and being hostile towards me, asking what do you think your doing, what are you doing here? I was confused and mortified. I do not recommend this location as the office manager told me I had to leave because it was my second appointment and I didn't book a surgery! I videoed the ordeal but couldn't upload it as proof.
