Food was very dry and bland. It took a long time to get meals and we had to go up to the cashier and get our checks to pay.

Great Columbian fare that feels so authentic. The blood sausage in their picada is superb.

We were four and decided that two Smalls and two Mains would be a fine amount and it was. If you as a group are big eaters, maybe an extra small, but use this as a guide. The Smalls were the mussels (about a dozen) with such an incredible and hard to describe, taste. The other small was the NAPOLEON BUENOS AIRES, also unusual and special. For the Larges, we shared the SALMON A LA BRAZILEIRA and VENEZUELAN CARBONADA (no meat eaters here). Also a bit difficult to describe, but take my word for it, very special. As we were headed to an event with desserts, we didn't try any here (and also no one was drinking tonight). Would love to come back and try if I'm in Chicagoland again. Just go!

Nothing wrong with the food, have had better but it was good. Service was slow and the place was really loud. Came with friends and could not hold a conversation because with other tables filled it was so loud. Parking was hard to find, ended up parking four or five blocks away. For the price and experience, would not go back.

The staff was super helpful and very friendly. We asked for suggestions of what was really tasty Colombian food and their suggestions did not disappoint. Once we stocked up on baked goods, we also saw their section of empanadas and other treats so we got a few of those. Everything was great when we got it home and a lot of it was really tasty later on in the air fryer. The empanada was amazing as was the cariminola de queso and the patata rellena (I might be spelling that last one incorrectly? Amazing fried potato and meat ball). The staff was really really nice through the whole process and reminded us that they also have pizza. I can't wait to go back to try that next time.

The servers were very kind and patient with me, even though I did not speak Spanish, and I did not have any trouble ordering. It's a small space, but I sat and read at a table by the door while I waited for my pizza and it was peaceful. I got a chicken and mushroom pizza and it was so delicious, the kind of pizza where even when it's thin crust, all of the good stuff is underneath the cheese. Plenty of toppings, and the crust was crunchy too! I will definitely be returning.

Drinks are 20oz bottles or cans with typical selection with some LATAM favorites like Aloe, Jumex juice and Apple Soda Empanada was tasty. Filling was cold. We had the Carne Asada and Badeja Paisa. Both very tasty, Chicharrón was fatty but given the quality of what's available in this country I can't expect what I get in Bogotá. Was disappointed no Pantecones or Arepas kinda Colombian staples.

We struggled with the strong bleach smell trying to eat our meal. We also ran out of beverages, and we were 1 of 2 tables in there. The chips looked and tasted like they were out of a bag, which is disappointing because it's not hard to make fresh chips. They had 4 different salsas which were tasty which was good because their food had little flavor. The rice and beans didn't even have any seasoning on them. The steak tacos didn't have much flavor either, so it was good that we had our choice of the salsas to use. The steak was without fat or gristle so that was a plus. My husband ordered a burrito that he said was bland and dry. It was good that they had to salsas but the food lacked seasoning or the flavor I expected from a restaurant with flavor in the name. I am willing to give them another try and order something different, but my husband isn't so willing.

To drink I had a fresh mango drink. Very satisfying. All in all, I'd give this place a 10+ well prepared tasty meal. Not fancy but wonderful freshly made food.

The whole space is covered in comic book art, It honestly felt like stepping into a comic store. You can't help but look around the whole time. I ordered the Choriperro, which I thought was just gonna be a Colombian-style hot dog, but it turned out to be a monster. The sausage had that nice grilled flavor, super juicy and then it was just piled with stuff, crispy fries, melted cheese, a mix of creamy sauces, and even pineapple. Every bite was amazing, salty, creamy, a little sweet, a little spicy. It definitely was a mess, but it was worth it. We didn't wait long, maybe 5 minutes after ordering, and the girl at the counter was friendly. The place was small but didn't feel cramped. If you're curious about Colombian street food, definitely try it out. And get the Choriperro. It's messy, delicious, and worth it.
