However coming by in the middle of a vertical rain sodden winters evening, business is not exactly booming (well there was no one their) and suddenly the expensive prices are magnified, without the summer rays affecting your decision making process. A pretty tasteless hot dog for £2.70 is not very good really is it? and don't even get me started on Candy Floss for £2.90. If though you've got a spare pound and you get an urge for a stick of rock, you can buy it right here, without even needing to cross the road. Job done.

I once went for a meeting and noticed I was the only person in the room without a laptop! Whilst Cafe Delice scores full marks for cosiness, I have to admit I'm not a fan of either the food or drink. The pastries I sampled were just okay whilst the americano, latte and cappucinos I've had on different occasions were all too bitter and lukewarm. Maybe the wine is better but since the music and service were as forgettable as the pasties, I'm unlikely to rush back.

Its a family run business and the the owners are friendly and always happy to chat. It's a great place to sit and read the papers with a coffee or hot chocolate and watch the world go by. They have a good selection of home made cakes, fresh food, and they are fully licensed if you fancy a slightly stronger tipple. Wednesdays is student night, Thursdays is over 30's night and they have a number of events planned for the up and coming future, including wine tasting, a psychic night and speed dating.
