As well as the great location, it's actually a pretty decent place, with plenty of seating plus space for the smalls to run around, a small play area which is useful but does need updating with some newer toys, a bar area, and toilets with a baby change area. There is also a really large outdoor seating area, again perfect if you are there with the kids. The menu is pretty extensive for a cafe with breakfasts, light lunches, seasonal specials, fresh bakes and a selection of yummy looking cakes. Gluten free and vegan options are also available. The children's menu is pretty good too, with a good hot selection as well as the usual packed lunches. Ice creams are also available and there is even a fully licenced bar! This is a great place to come for a bite to eat when you are in the area. Kids and dogs are totally welcome, staff are friendly but it can get a little busy at peak times to be prepared to wait to place your order at the counter.

The bacon and eggs come from Sussex and the smoked salmon for the bagels is smoked in near-by Henfield. The cafe is actually licensed (always a huge bonus in my book) so if you fancy a bit of a boozy lunch or a hang-over curing brunch, this place is ideal. They also hire the venue out for parties. It only holds 50 people in total (upstairs and downstairs) but I think that's a perfect number of people.
