My mom had a fabulous experience when we bought her used Ford Ranger from Zeigler Plainwell. That's why I came back to purchase another! I I'M A REPEAT CUSTOMER! A customer you'd think they'd like to keep. ‍ It's re: a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder that had 70,xxx miles on it. I purchased it from J9 in March of 2024. Problems began in 1st WEEK I think it was (I have documentation up the wazoo) I shit you not. Hopefully a fair, final outcome. I just don't feel like repeating my story for the 100th time to different employees because of: staffing issues, new hires, fired or just left employees, promotion's of staff (great for them) but I have to start reinventing the wheel because clearly they have no system to document service note, details, etc. about my vehicle. I'm willing to place a wager that my poor car has been in service for a 1/2-1/8 of the time I've OWNED it...not even 2 yrs yet.

So when you show up, they give you a piece of junk (mass produced tumbler or earbuds etc) and then try to sell you on a car. Total waste of time, do not give people like this your money. Seemed like a well ran certified dealership. The vehicle has been good to me, but I went to trade it in recently to another dealership and there's 3 accidents on the history report, so I was lied to. When I completed the transaction, the car, which I DROVE in, would not start. I asked the service desk to help me, and their reply was that if I wasn't getting it fixed there, it wasn't their problem. I could either have it brought into the garage there and have it fixed, or they didn't care. I told them several times that it ran when I brought it in, so therefore I should be alone to drive it out. When my vehicle's accelerator was sticking to the floor, I assumed it was from part of a recall, but it turned out, the problem was much simpler. I was traveling from out of town & they diagnosed, fixed the problem, and had the car back to me all on the same day. And I was able to return safely to Chicago. The service was incredible. DJ's professional, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable demeanor is enough for me to return in the future & recommend to anyone! Definitely check out this dealership's service department.

Now, when I bought the car I purchased the bumper to bumper warranty. The guy said that the warranty covered everything including the electronics. So when I took my car in for the recall, I had them check to find out why the restraint light was on. Well, it's a wire under one of the seats and my airbags won't deploy unless the problem is fixed, but guess what? My bumper to bumper warranty won't cover it!!! Harold Zeigler is a rip-off!!!
