Waaay too long to type. I need to meet w/ management on this one or I may have cause for legal action. I feel it's come down to thee only way I'm going to get these folks to listen to me. My mom had a fabulous experience when we bought her used Ford Ranger from Zeigler Plainwell. That's why I came back to purchase another! I I'M A REPEAT CUSTOMER! A customer you'd think they'd like to keep. ‍ It's re: a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder that had 70,xxx miles on it. I purchased it from J9 in March of 2024. Problems began in 1st WEEK I think it was (I have documentation up the wazoo) I shit you not. Hopefully a fair, final outcome. I just don't feel like repeating my story for the 100th time to different employees because of: staffing issues, new hires, fired or just left employees, promotion's of staff (great for them) but I have to start reinventing the wheel because clearly they have no system to document service note, details, etc. about my vehicle. I'm willing to place a wager that my poor car has been in service for a 1/2-1/8 of the time I've OWNED it...not even 2 yrs yet. read more

While sitting in the service parking all my grandson's belongings were stolen from his car bcs HZF neglected to lock its door. After a police report, being informed the security cameras in the service area were outdated and inoperable, several visits, phone calls and promises of phone calls that never came the family was told not the problem of HZF. The company blamed the victim, the towing company, suggested the tow truck driver came back and stole his belongings but refused to admit their own mistakes. After a snarky post on a local gossip page the DSM joined the page only to threaten me with legal action. But like every other promise, no corporate goons came knocking on my door. They finally offered $250 (25%) of the insurance deductible. The family had to accept this bcs work tools needed to be replaced immediately. read more

Buyer beware! They sell used and heavily damaged vehicles like they are new ones. We bought a brand new Explorer that they had a lot of hail damage repairs done to that devalued the car just as though it was in a major accident but they act as though they know nothing. Luckily they filed a claim with their insurance and we can prove it in court! Dirty bastards! read more

Unless you have a lot of support, I think you are likely to get conned here, like I was. It started out fine, good oil changes and fixed an electrical issue, but about a year in the lying and scamming started. They didn't fix a coolant leak issue and repeatedly tried to gaslight me. It started with one guy Kyle, then kept going and all the way to the top service manager, Mike. These tactics, disorders even, I've learned are actually quite common, with denial and then playing the victims. You'll see if you don't understand yet. I think maybe one person I met there was healthy and not trying to work a crooked angle. read more

I left a negative review with barely consulting them about the issue. Well I raised the issue and they bent over backwards to fix it at no cost. Long story short, I they refused to accept a ready loan check from MSUFCU stating that "per their dealership agreement" they simply process a new loan app and MSUFCU takes care of the rest. proved to be wrong when MSUFCU sent a counter offer and received no response from the dealership since I already left with the car. 2 weeks later I'm told i need to cough up $1,800 since they already paid the trade in off and that was the difference owed. Called MSUFCU and nothing was done after MAUFCU sent the counter offer. MSUFCU ultimately processed it the way the dealership wanted and not how I had already set it up with MSUFCU. Per MSUFCU they got their added commission and I got screwed. read more

Sold me a F150. Two days later service engine light is on and I have to replace the catylitic converter. During repairs I was told that the engine had cam phaser problems. Took it to another dealership to get a trade in value and they would only give me 2000 due to the cam phasers. read more

1 star I called Harold Zeigler Ford around 5:15pm on Friday to inquire about a couple of vehicles I was interested in test driving. I asked for a salesman that seemed to be very highly recommended among the general public to enhance my overall experience with the company. During my call, I explained to him that I lived about 45 minutes from their location and wasn't leaving my house for another 10 minutes or so. Upon receiving his blessing to head down there to check out the vehicles we got in the car to head down there. A few minutes later he left a message on my voicemail to tell me that one of the vehicles had been moved to another location but we would work it out so I was able to test both of them. About 55 minutes later, just after 6pm we show up to a locked and completely closed building. When I called to ask what was going on, I received no return call for about 10 minutes. When I finally did get a call back, his excuse was that "he thought I knew what the hours of operation were." When I told him it seemed a little bit ridiculous that it would be assumed that I would know the hours of every dealership I car shopped at he informed me that I put him between a rock and a hard place because he was riding his bike and it was raining out so he left when I wasn't there. I asked him why he gave us the go ahead to come down and take a look at the vehicles when I told him how far we were away and he just kept saying he didn't know what else to do when I wasn't there at closing time. I don't understand why he could call and leave a voicemail telling me about the change in status of one of the vehicles, but he couldn't leave a voicemail telling me that even though we had just spoken and agreed on the general time frame I was going to be there, he was going to go home because it was sprinkling out. By this time I was fed up with the terrible customer service and informed him that I would be writing a review. I don't want to include his name because I really don't want other potential customers to see him in this light. I just want them to be wary when dealing with this dealership. read more

Rob Caro is seriously amaze! After 'googling' HZ I started looking on their site. Feeling overwhelmed by so many choices, I called the first number I could find on the site. Rob picked up the phone and was incredibly warm and helpful. We chatted for a bit, and he was off to pick out the SUV I was interested in. Within a few hours he emailed me some choices. The rest is history. He was incredibly professional and FUN to work with! He made buying a car extremely seamless, and I had to do zero work! I had the worst sales experience when purchasing a truck ever. I was pretty much forced to do all the paperwork and check signing on friday on my way out of town when i told them i could easily wait till the following week. i am positive it was because friday was the end of the month and someone needed to hit a quota. i was forced to wait in a waiting room that was disgusting for over an hour and a half (missing dinner) waiting to sign paperwork. the truck was then given to me afterwards not meeting any of the agreements we had mentioned. it was not detailed at all. the floors were filthy and the entire interior gross. under the hood was covered in dirt. you could tell some kid in the back hit it with a pressure washer and called it good. now i'm waiting for my license plate in the mail three days past expiration of the paper certificate. so i can't even drive my own truck because someone didn't file the paperwork appropriately. you would think when signing over a check of a years worth of income you would receive better customer care. read more
