I paid for a second wash, with same problem. Staff was advised. No refund was offered. No premium service provided. Since equipment to clean hood and trunk are not working, AVOID this business.

Big Five?Googoo car wash knowingly overcharged me $19.00 (rounded up) every month for six months, after they reduced their rates in January 2024. I did not know that the rate was reduced until I spoke with a carwash tech at the carwash six months later in June 2024. At my request the tech showed me the details of my account on the company's computer showing the six month period that I was intentionally overcharged.  I tried several times to resolve the matter with Big Five the owners of Googoo car wash via phone and email. I requested a credit for the previous six months, which I thought was a reasonable request, because I would be refunded due to their error, and I would continue being their customer. Take Five countered my offer saying that" they will given me credit for one month's car wash, and that they have no obligation to refund with they overcharged me. Take Five's perspective was it was my responsibility to change my billing plan. Which is absurd since I did not know there was a price reduction until six months later.  However, I have read other complaints on the BBB review site regarding Big Five from other consumers who experience my same situation and TakeFive issued them a refund after contacting the BBB. Currently Take Five/Googoo Car Wash has a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. Take Five according the the BBB has had "538 complaints closed in last 3 years 312 complaints closed in last 12 month." I filed a complaint with the State Of Alabama Attorney General's Office who contacted Take Five corporate office. According the the AG's office Take Five stoned walled them for several days initially denying that they had received a request for information from them and then they claimed that the had problems opening up the file that the AG sent them. In the end they said that posted signs at the car wash stating their price change however no such signs exists and I have taken pictures of the car wash to prove it. They actually have no prices pointed on their location the only listing of the prices is locate the touch pad screen when entering the car wash to purchase a single car wash or to purchase an ongoing membership. Please stay away from the unethical fraudulent car wash. To add insult to injury they are still trying to bill me for services after I told them to terminate my account. I use my cash app to pay miscellaneous bills and fund it accordingly.

The stations are always full of warm, soapy water and clean brushes to do so. The staff greet you and lead you towards the car wash conveyor and if you have a back windshield wiper (like me), they will tape it down to insure your car wash is safe. Their car washing system gives your car a thorough clean from the windows to the bumpers and undercarriage. Your tires will shine and all smudges on your outer glass will disappear. The dryer does a great job of removing excess water, but you will still need to do a quick wipe down once you exit the car wash. But that's cool because they provide drying towels and window cleaner near the vacuum station as part of their stellar service. The vacuums are always strong and there's even a mat cleaner to make sure your vehicle is pristine inside and out. The prices range from $7 to $15 per wash and I've read some reviews where people complain about that. If you're committed to your car's upkeep, I strongly suggest you enroll in their subscription plan. They advertise an unlimited wash for nearly $30/month BUT you can get the Wheel Cleaner plan for $20/month and get a great wash, Rain-X window treatment plus wheel/tire shine. With this subscription, you can go to Marc-1 twice a day, everyday if you want. It pays for itself and it is by far one of the best investments I've made this year. I came to Marc-1 to get my car cleaned. I continue to go to Marc-1 because of the kind way I'm treated and the extra amenities (e.g., pre-soak, towels, vacuum) that help keep my vehicle looking new. We spend so much time criticizing bad service, it's only right that I highlight the superior, dependable service I receive form Marc-1 every time I visit. Do yourself a favor and get the subscription plan. If you only go twice a month (although I go about twice a week), you've gotten more than your money's worth.

I have written a previous review that details my first visit to the place, where they cleaned my wife's car. Please read it also for more details about my experience. I live down a dirt road, and commute a distance for school and work. As a result, the front of my truck becomes a big graveyard, buried under a thick pateen of dust. This goes on for the entire truck, as mud is caked on the sides due to a post-rain drive down my road, and regular road grime. In addition to this, my small herd of dogs sometimes ride in my truck, which ads a coat of dog hair to the interior of my truck. Also, I have a child who does not do a good job of keeping messes out of my cloth seats. With all of this going on with my truck, it can become quite a mess. I spend a lot of time in my truck commuting, so I like to have it clean. Enter the gentlemen here at S&K. These guys greeted me again upon coming in, greeting me by name, and welcoming me back. The job was like before, my truck as clean as it was when I received it from the dealership. They even polished my chrome running boards and toolbox, making them also shine like new. These guys work hard to please their customers and get customer service RIGHT. I will continue to bring my vehicles here in for detailing, and I'll keep recommending these guys to all my friends.
