Do not shop here. This is a place where customer service is completely unheard of, and accountability for wrongdoings is a game of "prove it". I took my brand new car here after it had been returned to me by an auto-body shop in unscathed condition. Hand wash? Hand polish? How about some keys hanging from pockets to scratch both sides of your car? They have only the last option, and if you try and speak with a manager (if you can find one), they tell you to call the corporate number on the receipt. No refund, no apology, no discussion. Just a bunch of claims of "we reviewed the tapes, and the pattern of the scratches couldn't possibly have been caused by us." The staff tried to help, but the manager on site, Polo, and the corporate customer service "recovery" representative, Mani, were both about as ignorant and confrontational as you would expect at in an episode of Jerry. So, now I get to file an insurance claim against them, which was met with the response of "Well, we'll just deny the claim." Sure, thanks, come again. I'm pretty sure the only reason to go here is to have your property wrecked. If you're lucky, like they told me that I was, you might get 30% off.... Next time you come back, if you're forgetful enough to go have the same thing happen again. I hope you read this and go to Aqua Spa down the street instead. I paid $24.99 for the Full Service Platinum wash, but they did not vacuum the back area of my SUV behind the back seat. I had removed all of my cargo before I took the vehicle there. Also, they put too much wheel shine on my wheels and when I drove away it splashed up onto the vinyl siding of my vehicle leaving oily splashes. read more

Can you tell I like car washes? Anyway, Car Spa is usually my alternative to Mister Car Wash. Mainly because of location and speediness. Their prices are decent and the waiting area is very trendy. They usually take a while, 30 minutes or so, to get your car vacuumed and washed and back to you. Another thing, they don't have the giant window to see your car being washed! Bummer! I've never been to an oil change place this professional and courteous! All the staff went out of their way for my oil change and even went the extra mile with details like offering to scrape the old window stickers off my car. You don't have to wait around waving a ticket and guessing when your car is ready. The cashier is tasked with timing the checkout for a speedy and really efficient exit with your beautifully washed car (that's part of even the basic oil change). I'll be returning. I stopped here today 5/8/14 on a day it was slow and it was drizzling outside. Thinking I was going to get a decent car wash for $30 nope try again, I would have been better off using there express service for $6. The tires were still dirty, the car still had dirt on it, the inside was only partially vaccumed. The guy said since he was understaff he didn't have time to properly wipe my car down. I had to hold my tongue, but being the person I am I still tiped him and left. This was my first experience and will be my last experience at this place. What a horrible experience. =( read more

You know how there's one business that is on the way to the office or home that you don't even have to go a block out of your way to patronize, but it's awful? Even so, you keep hoping that this time, the experience will be different? This is that place for me. I stopped getting my car washed here years ago because a basic wash takes 40 minutes. It's faster for me to drive to Mr Car Wash on Kirby, get my car washed and return to my office in midtown than to go the 4 blocks to this place. What I keep hoping for is to be able to pull up to a working pump, with a working credit card reader that gives receipts.Time and time again one or more of these simple requirements cannot be met. And the people who work there could give 2 sh*ts about it. This morning all of the pumps were down. On top of the already hefty fee, we were told that if we wanted to get the bugs off the car there'd be a $10 extra charge. I'm not talking about a ton of bugs, just a few. That's Car Spa for you; you have to pay extra just to get them to try to do what they should do anyway. I say "try" because another $10 additional and there were still bugs on the car when they were "done." I pointed this out to the guys drying the car, none of whom spoke English... Like much of Midtown, it's an over-priced service that just falls short. Don't get me wrong - I choose to live in Midtown and there are certain things that I love about it (see: Spec's) but this place is unsat. Now, since I have an inability to learn from past experiences, I have been here a few times. Most recently I went for an oil change and a wash with a vacuum. Assuming they changed the oil (got the sticker!) the exterior was clean (forgot to reattach my antenna) but the inside was very clearly not vacuumed. This is quite typical of the quality level of service I have experienced here. Further, I don't know if it's because I am a woman or not, but they CONSTANTLY try to upsell you on services you did not ask for, and in my case, PUSH you to accept services you have PLAINLY refused. I live within easy walking distance, so this is a convenient place for me when I'm crunched for time, but would I recommend it? Um, hell no. read more

Did a really bad job cleaning my car... if your going to pay for a service on your car gosh don't go here... literally got half way vacuumed and not wiped down inside basically I paid to have my car ran thought the wash... even though I got a full service.... don't see what they did that was full service. I am changing to a 3 / neutral rating because they do have the right to charge whatever they like. However to respond to Mr Reyes's comments, there are 3 stations just as close as the Shell you mentioned and they are all significantly lower than your prices. Strange how you zeroed in on that Shell station that is the only one in the vicinity that is higher. And as for the car wash discount maybe you have not had a chance to read the reviews for those car washes but I have and so no thanks. Your station / wash detail business is a nice place with a lot of potential I hope things do improve since it would be a benefit for customers and owners alike. read more

Ain't nobody dope as me I'm dressed so fresh so clean...that's what my car would sing if it could after a visit to Car Spa. I hit up car spa pretty often. I get the basic wash a couple of times a month and get detailed every once and a while. For the basic wash, you stay in your car and just drive through. Once you exit, there's someone waiting to hand dry your car. For the detailed, you hand them your keys and they take care of the rest. It takes about 15-20 min for them to finish. That's longer than I would like, but they have a nice waiting area with free wi-fi so it doesn't seem that long. If your car gets dirty within 48 hr, they'll even wash it again. It doesn't get much better than that. Make sure you get their punch card so you can earn a free wash, and be sure to check out their website for coupons. read more

This place is different, I have never experienced a car wash like this before. 1st of all, they give you a 48 hour warranty on your car wash, if it rains in 48 hours, you can get a free car wash!!! Love that! 2nd, they do a great job and I am picky about my car wash!!! Friendly staff. 3rd, its cheaper than any other decent car wash. $12 or $13. 4th, They have a good waiting area with coffee,tea, bottled water/drinks, TV, AC. these positive reviews are amazing. Three trips here due to them being convenient. First my car gets oil change, wash, I pay and no one can find the actual Oil change documents. Promise to email, mult. times never happens. Wife's car for detail, had to be redone three times and even the manager could not understand how it kept being incomplete. Yesterday, oil change, inspection, "free" wash. First try to sell me filters for double retail(I looked them up while while waiting). Then ask, "do you want it vacuumed out too?" Said yes and come back to a $25. bill for "SPA Supreme." Mats are rubber and were not washed, had "popcorn" packing loose in back and it was still there. This place is terrible, and they do not care. Came here for a carwash on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. I'd say the place was pretty busy. The waiting lounge was full and many cars out getting washed and dried. Lounge was clean and pleasant. Cashiers moved fast. My car was cleaned and ready within minutes. My only complaint was the front and back window were not cleaned completely. Or dried with a dirty rag. It's been two days and can see that the windows have streaks and dirty. Besides that everything else was good. read more

A solid "meh" experience that went on for a looong time. The seating area inside was just fine but there was no free wifi, ARG #StrugglesBeReal I needed to get a chip in my windshield sealed, the cost was $40 and also got me a complimentary car wash. I was pretty excited about the package option but then as time ticked on I was less and less excited. There was limited communication when my car was done...or when I thought it was done when the man drying it went away and didn't come back...but it wasn't really done. That bing said, the end product was very nice. The chip was sealed and I was able to view and and discuss the work completed with the man who sealed it and my car was squeaky clean and beautifully vacuumed. The moral of my experience at Car Spa is to come with your afternoon schedule cleared because when you visit, you'll be here AWHILE. read more

Not happy with the service... Got the platinum plus and added interior condition. The service advisor noted that there was $5 off with the add on so the total would be $32.99 + plus tax. I had a 30% off coupon which the cashier said I can only do one coupon code. I'm a frequent loyal customer but I visit the Webster location because it's close to my job. I always get the platinum plus for $28.99 in which they include the interior condition for free. Sometimes I add additional services and they give discounts for that plus I get the 30% off too. They have never told me I can only do one discount or gave me bad service. The gentleman forgot to condition my interior and told me i can only get one thing "condition"; either my seats or my dashboard. I didn't get asked what scent air freshener I wanted. The second cashier called the manager for help with the charge and all the manager did was apologize. I expressed that I was very dissatisfied with the service and location. I rather drive on my day off to the Webster location (45 minute drive) than go to the Brazos location (15 minute drive). Don't go to the midtown location. read more

Couldn't have happened anywhere else but they won't take responsibility. Manager said he would call me back, but that hasn't happened. My car was hardly dirty. It's only 3 weeks old with the paper license plate still in tact. I got gas and paid an extra $17 for the exterior car wash and it didn't print me out a receipt so I lost that money and decided to get the interior done as well since I had gone to the beach and there was some sand on the floor mats and seats. Literally nothing else to clean inside the vehicle. Well, I got the platinum plus wash for $30 and there's still sand all in the crevices of my seats and rubber floor mats. How can you not get rubber floor mats clean?! I am convinced that the inside of my car is dirtier than when I left it with white spots from their rags on my steering wheel which didn't even need to be cleaned to begin with and cleaner spots dripped on my black leather seats that has since dried. Have had several awful experiences with this place. First time I paid for for a state inspection and an oil change. A few days later I went to re-register my car and found out they never performed the inspection! After going back and forth with the manager their final resolution was for me to bring my car back in again to get inspected. I wasn't even offered a free wash for the inconvenience. On a separate occasion I brought my car in for a wash and detail. My specialty license plate was on the floor of the car and when I got my car back it was gone! When I approached the manager about it all I got was the whole 'we're not responsible for any valuables...blah blah blah' spiel. Bottom line. So, this is my absolute favorite car wash to go to! I have always had an excellent experience. Not only to they do an incredible job with my regular exterior wash/wax, but they pay great attention to detailing the inside of my vehicle and even notify when my headlights and tires might need attention. I have seen them do a great job with luxury vehicles as well! I personally have a pretty old Nissan Altima and by the time I leave here, it is always sparkling clean and ready for public appearances! Super disappointed. I did an express wash and the car is run through so fast it isn't rinsed (see photos). When I called for a refund the manager and area supervisor, MacGyver, asked if I pulled around the building to have car wiped down. Wiping down is to dry the car..it should still be rinsed. I wasn't concerned about soap on the mirror but the hatch and bumper should be soap free. The front still had a lot of bugs on it. But, in any event, there is no sign or employee directing someone to drive around the building. Mac said I'd have to physically return to the location for a refund. The corporate number is a voicemail. Luckily there are a number of other car washes in the area. read more

I spent $160 thinking I was getting detail job. Wow! Even the outside of my car was shoddy - spots left everywhere! I always leave spare change in back seat area - a reputable car wash will leave any change in cup holder or console. Hate to say it but, other than free WiFi and nice chairs in waiting room, I will not go back. ...and I live 1 block away. After I posted the above review, I realized I should let Car Spa know my experience and see what they would do. I did and the response was excellent! The staff treated me and my car like family. I am glad good customer service still exists. I had my car shipped from Florida. When I received it in Houston I noticed many scratches in the roof. Apparently from a tree. It was 5:20pm, it was raining and every single car wash was closed, except Car Spa. I went there and I showed to the Manager the scratches. He took my car and by himself he detailed it. Cleaning every single scratch. He did magic. He dedicates a good amount of time to my car. Because of that he left late that night. I really appreciate his efforts and great customer service. Do not go to the Brazos street location. A simple $19.99 wash turned into a nightmare Sunday Morning. After pulling up to the wash area, several of us waited ten or so minutes and had to phone the store for someone to come out and help us (yes, we had to call the store for help) and this should have been my first warning. I then go in and pay and wait, and wait and wait. After twenty minutes my car finally comes out and sits, and sits and sits. I finally asked the Manager (Ceaser) for my keys and got the hell out of car Spa. Nearly an hour wait and I left with a dirty car on the inside and the outside incomplete. I normally have my car wash and waxed at Cypress Station in Cypress. I was told to try y'all Store 0099 so today I came in at 8:28am asked for the 49.99 wash and wax. I sat there and watch them clean my car. The person that looked let a team leader with and got a young man to wax my car. This person was a joke. He put wax on the buffer one time and went alll around the car with out putting anymore wax on the buffer. Told I guess the team leader what he was doing and she went over again and told he how to do the job. I really believe a 10 year kid could have done a better job. He finished and started to call me to get my car and I really got PO he had not waxed the center of the top of my car. Someone came over and finished my Car. Paid for the $44.99 Interior/Exterior Supreme and was promised it finished in 30 minutes. At an hour and 11 minutes, it was "ready"... filthy. The outside of the car was streaked on evey panel with gray dirt that would leave a line when swiped with my finger. The corners of the windows were still dirty. Anyplace the automatic washer didn't get was still untouched, and the rest of the surfaces were as if they were swiped with a cloudy, dirty rag. When I pointed this out, the worker and manager seemed put out by my suggestion to do it again. As I write this, I'm at 1+35 and the car is not yet even through the automatic washer.
