An honest used car salesman. Really? Yes, Really. Chris Ziegler is that guy, maybe one of a kind…read morein the business. These days used cars are all pretty much priced the same. It's all been commoditized by KBB, Carfax, etc. So the only thing that really distinguishes one dealership from another is the selection on the lot, and the person in charge. Hometown motors has a great selection of late model vehicles, competitively priced (the Ford Explorer we bought was actually priced below market) and can be locally financed through a credit union. And, most importantly, they continue to treat you like a customer long after the sale is finalized. We had some questions a few days later and Chris was very helpful. Don't waste time shopping around- just go straight to Hometown Motors! I know we will again, even though we live three hours away.

But don't worry they'll discount this and discount that and they'll even take 5,000 off the sticker price so you'll feel like you're getting the deal of a lifetime, I'm glad I did my homework while sitting in that junk lot ,even though I had the money there's no way I was going to overpay for a over priced high mileage vehicle, your business tactics are sketchy and you prey on ppl who think their getting a good deal when in reality you're giving them the shaft.

Now is…read morewhere the troubles begin. 9 years into the warranty I have been having TPS sensor (Tire Pressure Sensor) indicator on. Took it in late 2024 to have it serviced. 10 miles from the dealership the sensor comes back on. Set up another time in December 2024 to have it looked at again and half way home the sensor went out again. Fast forward to December 2025, took it in again before the warranty expires and half way home again the sensor went off. I drive 100 miles on way to have it serviced. I told them to replace all 4 tires sensors because I didn't want to drive back again. One goes, they all begin to go. They only replaced the right side of the car. Is this really worth my effort one more time??!!

Very very poor communication!!…read more I made an appointment for my car to see what was wrong with my rear window because the defogger wasn't working. I received one phone call from them the entire encounter. The only time they called me was to see if I wanted it fixed, and only told me the price of the repair kit, which was like $60 (which I'm fine with). with that information, I told them to go ahead and fix it. When I go to pick up my car, my bill comes out to $350! I was just shocked. they could've communicated with me what the total cost would've been before anything because I would've just bought the kit myself and fixed it myself if that was the case. Not to mention, I had to make all the calls to see where in the process they were with my car. First evening I called, the tech told me it would be done by the time they close. I get there after work to pick up my car, and the tech that was still there told me my car wasn't done yet, so I have to come back tomorrow for it. I leave for the night, next day I don't hear a single call or anything from them and so I called early afternoon to ask if my car was done and they said yes. The night I went home, I looked at their work and it was ridiculous, only 6 small lines in the rear windshield that they had to touch up (And did a half ass job on). I will never use this dealer again for any of my services. I just paid and didn't complain because I wanted to leave that place asap.

Trae has been extremely helpful, responsive, and diligent throughout the process. I especially appreciated his willingness to go the extra mile and provide the information I needed without any pressure. I haven't made a purchase at this time, as I have some other things I need to take care of first, but I wanted to acknowledge Trae's efforts. The vehicle I purchased had a check light pop on 5 miles off the lot and the Bluetooth had an issue shortly after that. The people in the service center were helpful and got my 'small' issues fixed directly at the Kia dealer. They were extremely helpful and gave me a sweet loaner vehicle! Obviously I didn't love having these few glitches and I was clearly upset at the time, but the method they handled it in was solid customer service and support. I'd love to give a 5 but let's be honest, who could be 5 star happy having to go to service center twice the same day after driving it off the lot? A SOLID 4!
