Avoid this place, don't even consider walking in or even passing on the same side of the street. I went in here last year and I can honestly say that this has been the WORST year of my life no exaggeration, to this day I'm suffering. Now I won't put 100% blame on them because I made a dumb mistake. I was 20 years old when I walked in here and my mother just began going thru surgery so I decided I needed a car so I can get her to and from the doctors which was pretty far to travel on cta. Like a dummy i walked in alone. As soon as I walked in it was pressure from their sales person, but strangely, and probably when I should've ran away, the first thing he does is run my credit. He sees I have no credit and I thought he was gonna say he couldn't do anything, but I planned on waiting for my mother to go with me to cosign anyways, but to my surprise he said he could get me in a car that day, red flag number 2. I see all the cars are complete crap, and I somehow settle for one of the worst deals in history, again I was young and dumb, and bought a 2009 dodge with 180,000 miles on it for freaking 15,000 before tax, and their ridiculous interest rate, which came out to 21,000. The salesmen guaranteed me the car would last a couple years, and at least a year with no problem... bout a week or two in I went to tell them I didn't want the car anymore, and they said I couldn't return without still being fully liable for the loan so of course I kept it. About 2 weeks later the alternator and belt and fans messed up on me.. a month in the car was already giving me trouble when I was told that I would have at least a year no problems. I went in and told them I wasn't happy so they said they would exchange cars for one of equal value with same payments and everything.. which was still 400 a month. After a month I go in to exchange the car and they said if I wanted to exchange it I would have to take out a new loan and pay another 1500 as down payment for the new car.. I was left with no choice because I wasn't keeping a car with 180,000 miles on it. Got a 2009 hyundai with 120,000 miles on it, it was much better but for 15,000 still a complete rip off. They finance their own cars as well as insurance, they're like a wannabe mob. I was involved in accident and their insurance decutible is 500 yet I ended spending 2500 to get my car fixed that had 3000 in damages. They are just awful. I had plenty of money when I first walked in a year ago and today I'm in debt more than I ever been in my life. Please for your sake don't give them business, let them go out of business forever. They're liars, crooks and theives of the highest degree. They harass you, threaten you and will ruin your life. Chances are you ho broke repairing their car while trying to pay off their loan... just a little comparison, my friend bought a 2011 crystler 200 with 20,000 miles on it for the same price and only 200 a month from car max.. please avoid them at all cost read more
