Not good for engines. A mechanic said my car had an oil leak and needed to be steam cleaned before they could find the source. I wasn't sure where to find that service, so I tried this place. We brought in a Prius with 220k miles on it that was DISGUSTING, and car clean pulled off the impossible! There was probably literally pounds of dog hair, like extremely fine dog hair that was stuck in the weave of the carpets, and they literally got every hair. I really didn't think it was possible. The exterior is also looking incredible- the car has a lot of minor damage on it so it can only be cleaned up so much, and I don't think it could possibly look any better. Even at 10 years old with high mileage, parked outside in Puna for the last 7 years, the paint feels glossy like it's brand new. I highly recommend these guys!!! 10/10 satisfaction! It wasn't necessarily cheap ($380) but all things considered I felt like it was an extremely good value, they worked on it for 2 days and put a lot of hours into it. My wife's Pacifica was severely marked on the body and windshield by hard water deposits. Took multiple cars here and they all came back with imperfections and/or damage. First time taking my car here it came back with a small paint chip. Went back the next day and the owner did not want to own up to it. Fine. Took my car back a second time for a ceramic coating and the car came back nasty. There was dried grass INSIDE the car (that was not present when taken), the driver side mirror edges are fogged and I can't get it off, oil on my leather drivers seat, and there is a red paint mark on the back bumper. Absolutely terrible and not professional. I took my car here to get cleaned, not to get dirtier. Ceramic coating job is done poorly as you can see dirt streaks underneath the coating, implying they did NOT wash and clean the car well before applying the coating. No matter what I can't get the dirt out because it is trapped under the coating. Considering the amount I paid for the ceramic coating to get done, they did not even bother to clean the inside of the car. They could've at LEAST vacuumed my floor mats. Instead, they made it even dirtier. I had taken ANOTHER car here a couple of years back and that came back with two dimples (dents) on the roof. This means that excessive pressure was put onto the roof of the car not once but twice. They also said that they treated my windows with a coating but that was a lie. My family member also recently took their car here and the job was poorly done. You can visibly see remaining polish in several areas implying they missed. Never again taking any of my cars here again. They only care for your car if it is a high-end car. Don't bother coming here and wasting your money like I did. A car wash leaves less damage than this place. read more

Car Clean Hawaii picks up your car from your home and drops off upon completion which was a huge relief for me as I need to stay home with toddlers. My husband and I used to get our cars detailed every year or 2 in MN and after nearly 4 years here and with our son sharing use of our car occasionally, it was time to get a detailing done. They didn't just clean the car, they made it look like new again. I can honestly say this was the best detailing job I have EVER seen! They have a process they use that makes the paint look new again, and the interior, which my son had smoked in, smells like new again. Do NOT go here! They over charge and do a very poor job. Our vehicle was there for an interior and exterior detail. They had my vehicle ALL day from open to close. They charged me almost $600 total which is unheard of! They originally quoted about $300 total. When we got the car back it still had dirt on all the interior vinyl and there was no detailing done to the back seats at all. They also left tire shine soaking wet on the tires and when we drove it away the oil from the tire shine sprayed all over the vehicle. It's obvious they rushed to finish the car before they closed. The whole interior was slick with amorall to the point that my husband's hands were slipping on the driving wheel. There's also a huge scratch on our windshield now. I'm very disappointed to say the least. I will never go back and I will never recommend their services to anyone. Hope it was worth it to rip me off and do a half a** rush job Car Clean Hawaii! read more
