The best ribs and at $12.99, unbeatable. Go and the ribs. The key lime pie is also amazing. read more

Lovely shop for quick lunches and everything to go with. Service was wonderful and prompt

This is the little shop right across from the South Seas resort but open to the public. I was amazed at the stuff they had! I assume the experience overtime learning what people ask for and need while they visit has helped them stock well. Everything you can think of to make for breakfast to dinner with fresh made sandwiches in between. They also carry beer and wine which the former was what we were getting for our beach trip but we also picked up one of their sandwiches to take as well. You can call ahead and they will have it ready. We got the club sine a cold sandwich is better on the beach than a hot one but I so wanted to try the rueben. Maybe next time but the club was so good! Lightly toasted bread, crispy bacon and just enough mayo made for a great lunch as we roasted on the beach. Very impressed with the people that work here and the quality of the goods and sandwiches! read more

Captiva Provision Company - Signage - Convenience Stores Near Me - Captiva, Florida

The perfect little store to stock up for your stay on the island. Great selection of wine & accessories as well as liquors. Helpful staff seeking to create any sandwich you can think of. Only complaint, they close too early! read more

Captiva Provision Company - a car parked in front of a restaurant - Convenience Stores Near Me - Captiva, Florida

We stopped here for a few things. We got smoked fish dip made in Fort Myers and some crackers suggested by the woman working there. There were a few items of a personal nature we were able to acquire. It is not a huge store but the staff are very helpful, read more

Provision Company? Call it whatever you want this is like the Mega-General Store of Island Living, it's probably not what you'd expect to find after you climb the stairs and walk through the door. This well stocked well thought out business caters to a targeted clientele whether or not their business plan states it. The selection is vast but unique and designed to tempt the most discriminating palates, now don't fret you don't need a credit line to shop here because most are going to browse find a few items and be on their way, this is for the vacationing public not a place you're going to do your weekend grocery shopping. If you need a shopping cart you're in the wrong place, you need to drive off the island and find a Publix. I know, I've made a purchase each time I visited, the temptation is too great but for the most part I just admired the merchandise... read more

This is a great market/deli located directly across from the South Seas Island Resort. It is part of the resort, and the prices reflect this, but still they are NOT outrageous. They have a good selection of alcohol, boars head meats, cheeses, soda, chips, and other essentials before entering the resort. The Starbucks across the parking lot does not serve any hot breakfast (I mean they can't even warm a bagel), so this is the place to come for a hot breakfast sandwich. They do not open until 9am (island time "9ish") so early birds, you've been warned! :) read more

Not the cheapest place around and not the broadest selection, but on the very tip of Captiva Island it certainly is a huge convenience. The products they stock -- all the basics plus a good deli and a nice wine and beer selection -- are all high quality. The service is great and they get you in and out quickly. It is a lot better than an hours trek back to Fort Myers. read more

If you're staying at South Seas, chances are you will need a spot to replenish your supplies and/or grab quick eats. Captiva Provisions is essentially a high end mini-mart with a Williams-Sonoma-inspired array of island-themed gifts and an underrated deli (scrumptious sandwich options). Random items to be found include birthday cards, cigars, ice cream, over the counter medications, hand towels, and beer/wine. Of note, the breakfast sandwiches here are significantly better than those at Starbucks. While this may be your only real "general store" option on the island, at least it's above average and open until 9 pm every day! read more

Cute and expensive. If had another option nearby might choose something less pricey with a faster check-out line. But....there's not much else nearby so stop in and check it out if you're here on vacation. read more

Honestly probably the best spot for subs on the island. Everything is cut fresh and prices for the area aren't bad at only 10$ a sub. Definitely saved the day for our boat trip without many selections on the island for cold cuts. We ordered the club sandwich and rueben and both were great. read more

I went there yesterday, and the young woman employee told my 12-yr old daughter and I some elaborate conspiracy theories about how the island and the government are covering up the death and destruction of the red tide. Supposedly, a man had to get his leg amputated because of the red tide (false). Also, vacationers are getting poisoned by stepping on dead pufferfish that wash ashore (FYI, Captiva doesn't have poisonous pufferfish, they have harmless porcupinefish). She went on and on. I told her to stop because she seems to be trying to ruin our vacation. She didn't stop. She continued by talking about more sensationalist BS. Did you know people are getting maggots in their feet?!?! We just wanted some ice cream. read more

We discovered this store & deli while cycling on Captiva and Sanibel. We were looking for a good spot to grab something high quality for lunch, without having to do the waitress thing. This worked out great. The place is on the second floor, up a steep flight of stairs. It's clean and has lots of high quality snack foods, drinks, fruits/veggies, freshly made sandwiches, and chocolates. They've got a lot of variety packed into a small shop. Most things in the store you won't find at a normal grocery store--this is targeted toward the high-end appetite. Some people will think it's too pricey, but I didn't. We liked it and ate at a table out on the porch--that was pleasant enough, plus you're only a block from the ocean. read more

This is a small grocery store with a nice selection of essentials for when you're vacationing on Captiva. It's close to South Seas in a strip mall with a few apparel stores and a Starbucks. The prices are high, but that's to be expected on any island. Staff was friendly and they have some local items. Decent beer selection. My only complaint is that they didn't carry gallons of milk, only half gallon size. read more

No prices on anything and definitely abusive Island prices. When I asked the lady behind the counter what the prices on two items were she looked at me like she was going to kill me so I explained "Sorry there just aren't prices on anything." And she goes "That's not my problem and just stared at me." A total psycho. And actually it is your problem, if you work in a store with no prices, it's your job to tell people when they ask. I just don't know how someone like this gets a job on a small island with a tight knit community and then delivers such a bad attitude all day. My family who has owned several properties on Sanibel and Captiva since the 60s and this was by far the grossest experience I've had on the islands to date. This experience just felt totally abusive. I will not go back no matter how badly I need toilet paper! read more

We came here a few times throughout our stay and were always greeted by the super friendly staff! They all seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. It had just about everything that one would need while staying on the island and not wanting to venture off island to a bigger grocery store. They also have a deli for fresh sandwiches and salads. We all got sandwiches tonight and the quality was great! My favorite part was that we asked for extra pickles on the side-and they literally gave us a giant tub. Don't miss Captiva provision company during your stay read more

Great spot for wine and deli snacks. The manager Kathy is so friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere of this little island shop is perfect. Always stop in when in Captiva and look forward to our next trip into town. read more

Purchased 2 sandwiches this AM. Sandwiches were good. We're overcharged and perhaps that's accidental but the man working there was rude, ignorant, and arrogant. Did not feel welcome and would not come back. read more

Great little deli/shop. Get a few groceries and souvenirs for home without having to go far. Prices are higher than other places but that's what you expect at a resort. read more

Extremely over priced and customer service is very rude. We simply wanted ice cream and a female employee was extremely snotty and condescending about us not magically knowing their cooler broke down. read more

Went for ice cream. The ice cream boy behind the counter was a complete jerk. Started lecturing me about food safety because I touched the counter glass when pointing to a selection. He was probably having a bad day but still no need to be an ass. Prices are expensive but hey, you're in Captiva and will pay heavy markup for product and pissy employee attitude. read more

Stopped in a year ago to have a quick bite. Sandwich was great. Service was nice. And the little shop was fun. The tables on the porch was nice. read more

The staff is incredibly rude and I ended up walking out shortly after entering. Prices are double what they should be and staff is snotty and offensive. Shop some where else. read more

The woman behind the counter was extremely rude. She asked if I wanted to carry my groceries (a bunch of heavy wine bottles, food, drinks, etc. in my small purse and I said it wouldn't fit and could I please have a paper and plastic bag. She then proceeded to say sarcastically, "Yes, I know how to bag." Food was marked up and outrageously priced b/c it's an island, so when you're paying that kind of money for cheap cheese and wine, you would expect better service. Plus, I recycle and care about the environment so it's ridiculous that she implied otherwise. Do yourself a favor and drive to the general store in Sanibel. read more

The place to go for homemade fresh ice cream. $5 per cone, but, really good. Brand is called Queenies.

Great deli shop! Their selection of warm sandwiches and panini is amazing. Same as for salads all freshly made. With a seating area inside and on the porch it's a great spot where have a refreshing rest time. read more
