The selection of fresh produce is amazing! They have a great selection of organic produce too! The employees are very friendly and helpful!

Shopping at Farmer Joe's is like an adventure to me. A fun and a bit chaotic adventure! There is such a wide selection of foods. Their produce section is huge and basically so is the meat, deli and bakery sections! What I like about it is the different brands, those you don't find at your standard grocery stores. And I really like shopping here for holiday gifts, as you can put together some pretty good and creative gift baskets/bags. Today we got a nice deal on some frozen Key West pinks and a good looking bone in prime rib for our holiday dinner. We also found some jumbo sweet potatoes, fresh beets and a variety of food items for gift baskets. It was fun, except for maneuvering around all the people and their baskets. I think they need wider aisles or smaller shopping carts! And although it is a little pricey, I don't mind over-paying every once in a while just for the experience. read more

It pains me to leave a bad review for Farmer Joe's but, here I go. I shop there all the time love everybody today I bought for the first time I prepared Quiche lorraine, when it said it was prepared today and get it home cooked it exactly according to the instructions 10 to 12 minutes in a 350 oven. Let it cool down a bit it was like rubber no seasoning whatsoever and for $13 my dog spit it out. But then to add insult to injury as I check out and spent over $135 I was like where's my military discount? Is it oh we don't give any any kind of discounts on Saturdays I said oh so you're not a veteran in this country because it's Saturday.? Very disappointed. TRADER JOE'S ON STEROIDS ? Well, its not Trader Joe's, just a much larger resemblance with similar traits. The exterior is a big red barn with a stationary two tone 1957 Ford truck between the exit and entrance enhancing that old southern American charm. Immediately enthralled by the spacious aisles and high ceilings with large food section identifier signs allowing simple navigation. Noticed the presence of several floor managers discussing product inventory and sports - i think. Bee lined directly to the bakery and viewed fresh baked key lime pies and other attractive pastry. Had to try the Pistachio Cranberry Biscotti which were enormous. The staffer advised that it was a good choice since they were just put out fresh. The biscotti were $12.99 per pound or $1.69 each. The espresso biscotti and chocolate biscotti both looked good too. Loved the hard crunch even after I dipped it into my morning coffee which enhanced the delightful Pistachio flavor. Everything was organized and appeared fresh. The wine section was large with every bottle fronted for easy visual. It was an adventure at Farmer's Joe's and will return for some fresh bread soon. read more

What a completely amazing place. If you want it and you're hungry, they definitely have it. What a great selection of fresh sausages and fresh bacon, their meat department is next level. They had a bunch of samples in different locations, they have a lot of organic type foods and a lot of things you don't seem anywhere else. It's big and it's crowded for a reason. They have a great ice cream selection, some premade food, which is easy to go home and reheat. They make fresh salsa in house, which looks very good. I can't wait to go back. Let's start with The BEST Key Lime pie. I could've been in here for hours. There's so much to see and it's all just eye candy. The butcher shop - OMGosh...:best steaks and let's not stop for the bacon too. The pasta bar is so amazing...and don't forget to stop at the bakery. I'm super sad I don't live by this store! It's a one-of-a-kind store grocery store with a name rather close to another Joe you may know in the grocery business. I loved everything about this store from the setup to the product selection to the incredibly helpful staff. I bought some pink pineapple, homeopathic medicine, and just enjoyed the browsing the store. It is pricey, but I firmly believe you get what you're paying for. I love the meat department and the excellent cuts of beef, pork, chicken and seafood. I bought two big beautiful NY Strips that were delicious. The grocery section offers just about everything and it is fun to shop there. I just moved to Florida and found my new favorite store! For those from Atlanta, the store is a hybrid of Harry's Farmers Market from 30 years ago combined with today's Whole Foods. You name it, they've got it! While some items are indeed pricey, keep your eyes open for "deals." Asparagus, 99 cents a pound? Broccoli crowns $1.99. Horseradish sauce originally $3.99. Not today! One dollar! Cheeses, meats, breads, pastries, a variety of soft drinks. (Except no Dr. Brown's!) I was excited to find crisp, half sour pickles. Very customer service oriented. There is nothing like Farmer Joe's in SW Cape Coral! They are a bit pricy and sometimes the quality of the fresh produce leaves something to be desired (especially do to the higher prices) but all the baked goods, wine selection, fresh meats and fresh fish and seafood cannot be beat in this area! Other areas of Cape Coral have more choices than the area where the store is located and most stores are quite limited for organic or specialized foods! I hope they continue to thrive! read more

Joe's Farmers Market display two messages on its sign, "Closed for Repair" and "God Bless Cape Coral" after Hurricane Ian. You cannot wonder what is the next for the store! Despite their own massive roof, air condition and refrigeration damages, this does not stop the staff to help the community. Joe's Farmers Market became the distribution point for water and food relief! Finally, after completing their roof repair, air condition and refrigeration repairs, they reopened in early December 2022. We don't live in Cape Coral but in the neighborhood today, we were excited to walk in and see just how clean, well-organized with the friendly staff were busy serving customers! This is a wonderful sign. Joe's Farmers Market is not a regular super market like Publix, they have many fresh produces supplied by local farmers as much as possible. Some prices are cheaper and some quality meats are more expensive. We spotted and pick up a bag of Noble Floridian Juicy Crunch tangerines. This tangerine has little or no seed with amazing flavor. The six large Kent Mango for $3.98. Wife selected several Russet or Idaho potatoes and other green vegetables. The meat department was busy. The French Duroc rib roast priced at only $5.99 a pound! Fresh spinach fettuccine was amazing. Wife did not want prime NY strip boneless steak at $32.99 a pound! They have a wine section but we did not stay in the store too long. Farmer Joes Pine Island Rd. Love this place for shopping and tasting and looking at what's new. I rolled into this place today around 1 pm and they were fairly busy but not packed. Every time I go there I feel like a kid in a candy store. Now you got to love that! This place is neat clean and has a ton of food items that you may not find any place else. It they are running a special you can save some money but if there not it may be a little more expensive here. I love their oranges and at times they are on special and so big and good. The vegetable section is large and you can find bargains there. I also like the olive bar as you can fine olives of all kinds there. The bakery is second to none, it has just about anything you want or can have, and it smells so good in that area. We always check out the seafood section as it's about the largest in the area. They have a huge selection of fresh seafood right there you can choose from under the glass. Moving on to the deli and what a selection of deli meats and potato salads they have for you to choose from. Every time we went there this area is always busy. They even have a number system for who's next to get waited on so make sure you take a number to get fast service. They even have the old pickle barrel so you can choose pickles out of the barrel boy were they good. The rest of the store is odds and ends and there are a lot of locally made or grown items on the shelves. I tell you just go there and shop you'll find something to your liking for sure. I give this place a 5 out of 5 thumbs up just for all the different items they have. This place is open 7-9pm every day. Newbie in the area and did a bit of homework to learn about Farmer Joe's. Finally got the chance to go last night and it did not disappoint!! This will be our primary go-to grocer! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a super friendly employee-she helped recommend some dips for us that are made fresh in store. Each department is bursting with fresh deliciousness! Imagine choosing fresh bacon from the meat department, seasoned and ready to cook. The deli is amazing- loved my fresh rare roast beef sandwich. Look forward to eating the chicken salad and egg salad I bought. The bakery looked amazing and I decided to partake in a package of hopes royal cookies (macadamia nut, chocolate chip and coconut-YUM!). And wow the seafood!! I love how they offer 10% discount days and one is for first responders!! Cape Coral loves their first responders and we so appreciate that!!! Beware! I've tried giving this store another chance and once again, very poor quality. A few months ago I had them grind me up some top sirloin and long story short it turned out to be ground pork. We bought a couple of sandwiches about a month ago and I got sick soon after I ate it. Just tonight I opened a pork tenderloin to cook and the stench was unbelievably strong. I tried rinsing it and the stench was still bad. Obviously the meat was bad and I had to throw it out. I've had produce from there go bad very quickly. I really used to love this store, but the quality is definitely not there, the prices are high and some of their food and produce is rancid. read more

I needed to comment on this post. I currently ordered 60 lbs. of the spiral ham and 105lbs of the Planville Turkeys and 20lbs. Of Farmer Joes turkey breast. I had three separate orders and they served employees at a company I currently work for. The food above served 180 people at 3 locations and I have to say that every employee wanted to know where the proteins came from. And when I said Farmer Joe's they began to call to order their own for next week. I have been going to Farmer Joe's for over two years. The two young ladies that helped me with my ordering was Joanne and Christie at the special order desk. They were amazing and so helpful and accommodating. This is a quick update on our experience at Farmer Joes's tonight. We got there quite late around 7:00 and we ran in to get a few things for dinner and ended buying a lot more! Fresh produce, some fish, cheese and a chicken. We were hungry and bought eggplant parmigiana and barbecue chicken wings from the deli hot foods case. Both were delicious. The place and people working there seem more together now that they have been open for a while. The check out ladies were exceptionally friendly and completed our shopping experience. I just love this place. It's upscale, the quality of produce, fish and meats is incredible. You just don't get this quality at Publix. Then there's the expertise of the staff. The butchers actually give you a tutorial on cuts of meat and they actually care that you enjoy your purchase. Produce is beautiful and you don't have to sort looking for fruit that isn't bruised or spoiled. Then there's the patriotism of the owner which makes me. personally feel great about spending money here. It's funny , I look forward to shopping at any Oakes supermarket because they make it a great shopping experience. And for that I am willing to drive to Naples or the Cape. Every time I see a new construction project in Ft Myers , I keep hoping it's an Oakes supermarket. No luck yet, but maybe we could get one here because I would never go to Publix if that happened. read more

Nice place, very busy, but I just can't put them in the same group as Seed to Table. They have an equally good Produce section, Fish Market, Meat section and Deli. They come up a little short on the Dine-in food and drink, as well as the entertainment. It's a shame to have gone that far in building out a new store and didn't take it to the top. read more

Welcome to Cape Coral, Farmer Joe! This supermarket isn't like the others. A bit more industrial feel but with more organic and vegan products plus a huge focus on very local produce. Mom and I stopped in to check it out and I found a few things that will go into meals for the next few days. The store is well organized and still quite busy. Produce is very clean and each of the different bins indicate not only the location but also the farm from which it is sourced. The Florida farms are highlighted and this is super. Meats, fish, lots of cheese. An olive bar that looked great. Frozen. Variety of different imported grocery items. Lots of dairy and fresh churned butter. Several keto items including chocolate and snacks. There's even an ice cream bar! Some things are expensive including eggs and meat.
