My fiancé and I had a few ideas for the general feel of the video, but we weren't entirely sure how to turn it into a story. We gave a few details to Arvin, and his team came up with a timeline / storyboard in no time. After a few days of email correspondence, we came up with a final script that we were happy with...all thanks to OpenGlass's creativity & attention-to-detail :) The day of the shoot came, and the 3-man crew was prompt and super efficient. They gave us a rundown on the order of the shots, outfit changes, and location changes. When we were in front of the camera, they gave clear direction and instructions on how to act; making us feel completely at ease. It was stress-free working with them -- they asked me to fill out a page or two about my preferences, we had a phone call a few months before our wedding to meet each other, and then got back in touch about a month before my wedding date about scheduling and logistics. The day of, Danielle and Jared reflected that same easy-going attitude. They worked with my photographer to partner up when it made sense to. They worked really well as a team (they are husband and wife, after all :) ). As a bride, my definition of an amazing vendor is when they're quiet. This might be a weird thing to say, but that's when I know that they're professional and confident, and for a videographer, able to focus on capturing as much footage as possible without getting in the way of any other vendors. We got our videos a few weeks after our wedding and they're SPECTACULAR. They gave us a couple of videos to help capture different elements of the day (highlight, ceremony, reception, and bonus footage). Nothing felt overproduced or undervalued -- they truly hit the mark on showing how our wedding was, representing every element really well. The end result looked natural and reflective of our day. However, as time progressed our experience with them quickly turned into a nightmare. For instance, they were extremely uncommunicative-to the point that we were unsure if they would actually show up to our wedding until the night before when they finally returned communication and reviewed the details for the event that took place in July of 2021. Since then our experience with them has only worsened as we STILL have NOT received our wedding video, no raw footage, nothing. We have been more than patient and have reached out numerous times only to receive little to no response. And while we are thankful to have received our wedding photos from them, they have been paid in full while we have not received what was promised more than A YEAR AND A HALF later. We did our due diligence in selecting Matt and Lori and are dumbfounded by other people's stellar experiences while we have essentially been ghosted. My husband and I have gone back and forth about leaving this review as we did not want it to influence the quality of our video but frankly they have left us no other recourse. We have been more than patient and understanding with nothing to show for it. Ultimately, our goal in leaving this review is so no one else goes through the same heartache, ESPECIALLY for their special day. Please, do yourself a favor and find a DIFFERENT photographer/videographer.
