Food smelt and tastes amazing. Service was awesome no long wait for the food to get done.

There used to be a Captain's Pizza on the other side of Mandalay Avenue but it closed. It apparently reopened at this location. I was here for the $6.95 two slice special advertized out front. For $6.95, you get two slices of cheese pizza and a drink. The slices of pizza were quite large (they look larger in real life than in my photo below). I would have really enjoyed them but for a flavor I didn't like: I think it was garlic. Garlic is common on pizza but I don't like it. I'm still giving them four stars, however, because it is a matter of taste. If you like garlic, then you should like this pizza. The outdoor seating is nice.

After seeing the sunset by the ocean, the family needed to be fed so we saw a pizza place with a sign 2 slices of cheese pizza and drink for $7.99. The boys were all in on pizza time. The establishment is located on a busy street where parking is hard to find. If you find parking, you will pay for every 15 minutes you're parked on the street. The pizza place is located next to many different bars, sweet shops and Hulk Hogan merch place. You enter the business and the young man took our order and quickly created the pie for us. The bathrooms and establishment was well kept. Business was light so our slices came out quick. The pizza was not generic tasting and the pie crust was light not with heavy breading. The cost for our 4 orders was $43 and worth the price.

We ordered the small pizza, ate most of it then remembered to take a pic. Here is the meat pizza, yum!!

Came to captain pizza based on recommendation from Airbnb owner who mentioned this was best pizza in the area. He was right! We ordered the meat pizza and it was delicious, heavy on the meats which was just what we love and very tasty. The crust, cheese and sauce is perfect. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. This is a great spot for after sunset views, lunch or very late night snack!

We came in (3women) and we felt discriminated by the men working here. Horrible service. Would never go back. If you're a female stay away.

We were seated as soon as we arrived, and throughout our visit the service was really good. My friend and I were having a very hard time deciding, and when we asked the server, she flat out told us that the two things we were torn between were awesome and we should order both and split them. We got the shrimp and grits and the lobster Benedict. On their own, the grits weren't anything special, although they were texturally great. Now when you add the shrimp and gravy . . . This dish is a whole other deal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the gravy was super well balances. It had the perfect level of spice. The lobster Benedict had a perfectly poached egg, and it worked so well. The mornay sauce was a lovely touch. I'd definitely order it again, but I would also definitely order the shrimp again. Long story short, our server was right, they were both amazing. I also got a standard Bloody Mary, which was solid. I would definitely go back to this place. It's got an upbeat, family friendly atmosphere, and I think it's a great spot for locals and out of towners alike. It's also well priced. I'd also love to try their beignets or French toast next time. They've also got a huge lunch/dinner menu that I'd definitely want to try if I were in town for longer.

Ambience was like your regular breakfast place or diner, but definitely family friendly. We were there with our 8 month old baby boy and felt comfortable. Food tasted pretty okay, we ordered coconut shrimp, fish n chips and chicken tacos for brunch! The fish was a little undercooked and the batter was still a bit wet inside. Other items were not bad. For drinks, I ordered their popular pomegranate mimosa which came really flat (no bubblies) and in a wine glass! I sent it back and got a mojito instead - which tasted a lot better! Additionally, we were not aware the breakfast menu closes at 12 pm and we were already seated, so kind of felt obligated to order from the lunch menu at around 12.05 pm! It was too early for a sea food lunch for us! We saw the table next to us had ordered breakfast just a few minutes before us but we were denied because it was already past noon. Overall a pretty average experience. I was expecting a little more authentic experience but turned out to be just like your local diner.
