This location is also a bit small so not really suitable for big groups. We came on a Friday for lunch and there's only 1 kiosk so it takes a while for big groups to order and I don't think they have a person starting another order if it gets too busy. They were out of a couple of the drinks for the kids menu, which was okay because there were 2 other options. Not once did the staff interact with us or say hello to us. The wait time for the food was ok but the server basically ran and threw the food at our table without ever saying anything to us. I ordered a pork katsu sandwich and the pork was VERY dry. I also ordered it normal but when she threw it on the table, she mumbled something "it's not spicy" and but there was clearly some red powder on it and looked like my friend's sandwich that she ordered spicy. We went up to ask the girl and she said they accidentally put the powder on but it's not spicy and that was it. She didn't apologize or offer to exchange it. I think it's unacceptable behavior and I was in disbelief. They were also out of ketchup and we had a whole table of French fries with the kids meals... I have been to the other location a few times and the food and service was good as far as I can remember, but this location is horrible. I will never come back again and will tell all my friends and family about my experience. 2/9- I emailed the business owner like he requested but never got a reply. Ahoy, seafood lovers! I dropped anchor at Captain's Galley on Powell, in Gresham for the very first time, and let me tell you -- the fish and homemade chips? Absolute treasure. Crispy, golden, and downright delicious. We also couldn't get enough of the French fries, fry sauce, and that tangy tartar sauce -- it was a flavor-packed voyage. But then... we hit a little snag in the form of the chowder. The creamy texture was spot-on, but sadly, the clams came with an unexpected crunch -- yep, a bit of sand. Still, every ship has its rough seas, and I'm totally willing to give it another shot. The crew (aka the staff) was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Bonus points for the cute outdoor tables -- clean and inviting -- though parking's a bit of a tight squeeze with about four spots. The burger came with fries (which we all agreed were the best part of our meals) and it cost $16. NO MILKSHAKES OFFERED, which given the theme of the restaurant is just a horrible oversight.
