There wasn't a single moment I felt uncomfortable. Superdive Scuba creates a seriously awesome learning environment. Also, inferior quality to what is advertised. There was no original packaging. The packaging was damaged, and the item was already opened and just put in a large plastic bag and taped incoherently. Additionally, they charge for shipping both ways, ~$10 for shipping to you, ~$10 for returning. It's basically a scam because they know you are definitely going to return. The buyer gets nothing but loses $20 on a $30 item for shipping from NYC to LI. I read other reviews on the same product, and everyone had the same experience (I wish I had paid more attention). They may be recycling the same item again and again. And it's no surprise that they have not posted my review for this product on their website Very disappointed. Never coming back.

Tim, (who I assume is the owner) was always available and quick to give email responses as my brother and I stumbled through the e-learning portion. When we began our sessions we had Michel, who was an instructor in training being supervised by Edwin. Michel was not just knowledgeable but was kind and engaging. I personally had some fears going into diving, but the relaxed energy Michel displayed made for a comforting and safe learning environment. I highly recommend Gotham Divers. Especially if you have a New York mentally. They respect your time and are efficient with the courses.

The renovated boathouse is host to all manner of floating craft on Flushing Meadows Lake. You'll…read morefind sailboats, rowing sculls, pedal boats, outboard motor dinghys out on the water. And then there are my favorites, the dragon boats. Each type is owned by different groups and share the use of the boathouse and the lake. TASCA offers sailing lessons, ROW New York practices on their sculls and HK Dragon Boat Festival has their weekly practices & annual festival around the lake. The boardwalk, docks and boat launches are in very well-kept renovated condition to service all the boat types. The large parking lot adjoining the boathouse provides ample parking most of the year except during the weekend of the HK Dragon Boat Festival when it fills up in the pre-dawn hours. The lake might seem stagnant but is actually flowing from north to south with plenty of wildlife such as ducks, geese, seagulls and the occasional cormorant. There are certainly fish in the lake due to the many marine birds diving for them in the water and the fish that was hiding from them in the bottom of our dragon boat.
