First time in captain hooks and all I can say is WOW! My boyfriend and I had the pangang curry with chicken (my personal favorite, his first time) to split and he's now as obsessed as I am! We also got the slammin salmon roll and the captain hooks platter (all different types of tuna) and it was amazing! It's safe to say we found a new favorite sushi joint. Amazing sushi!! Since we moved to Cape Coral a year ago we've been trying to find good sushi and we are finally in luck. Besides a nicely decorated restaurant and fun casual atmosphere, Angie greeted us like friends and gave great recommendations. All were amazing. Im warning you though- the sushi rolls are huge!! We ordered too much but I'm excited to have the remainder for lunch tomorrow. The menu had so many good looking choices I'm going to have to come back many times to try them all. We got take out from here last night and it was awesome! We got the gyoza, edamame, drunken noodles, curry and sushi. All were wonderful! The drunken noodles were my favorite. My husband said the sushi and curry were really great as well. The portions were large and the quality was great. VERY happy to have this so close to home! We will be back. read more

Ordered dinner last night. Prices seem a little high and wasn't impressed with all our dishes. Case in point the basic ginger salad at most places 3.99 at the most; here it's $7.00 so we all passed. But the ones that were good were mostly good. But prices still too high. The not so good. App sushi sampler $13.00 was really sashimi no rice was fishy so one piece was eaten and the rest trashed. Shumai dumplings $7.00 not Chinese if that's what you want. Filling wasn't our favorite, dough tough, only 5 little dumplings and sauce was very limited but also not the best. The really good were the drunken noodles but a little too greasy or oily. We ordered with tofu which was lightly deep fried and was perfect $13.00, Red curry 14.00 but $2.00 extra for chicken that was dry so $16.00 curry delicious chicken over priced. I would probably give their Pad Thai a 1 star. It lacked Tamarind sauce and was very bland. Probably one of the worst I've ever had because of this. Maybe it was just that day, but it was my first time ordering from here. We ordered via DoorDash. We also ordered the Drunken Noodles and it was also pretty bland. Not sure what's going on or if this is their usual taste. The best Pad Thai has been Ninja Thai in fort myers, and it's because their pad Thai has a lot of Tamarind sauce and the noodles are almost dark orange. We barely finished half of both before we gave up. Sorry Captain Hook, but both could use more flavor. I'll give them another try in the distant future but their sushi seems overpriced. $20+ rolls?!
