I visited this Villa Rica, GA store location and their store manager, Johnny was outside at 3:20 pm smoking a vape at the customer entrance doors. On 01/11/2026. After smoking he went back inside and started taking customer orders and serving food. This is against health code policies for serving customers food. No one should eat here when managers are smoking on the clock and then serving customers food. read more

We had just gotten out of Home Depot and wanted to try thier food. We ordered the Kids Chicken meal for our grandson and we ordered the seafood combo for ourselves. Man...I have been craving Captain Ds...now that I live in Ga I rarely eat it because it's not that close by. But I finally caved in to my craving on yesterday. When I got there they were crowded so I said I'll just eat inside. I ordered the deluxe seafood platter which came with 2 pieces of fish, butterfly shrimp, stuffed crab, hushpuppies and choice of 2 sides which I chose slaw and okra. It was so good. I just came from Captain D's in Villa Rica and when I tell you their customer service was so horrible that I will never go there again. I pull up to the drive thru and the girl at the window didn't speak no nothing. I asked her for some sauce and only got 2 so I asked another person at the window and his attitude was also bad. I asked for 2 more tartar sauces and he slammed the window in my face without a word said. I called after I left and asked to speak with the manager and he said his name was Steven. I'm explaining about the bad customer service and now he's on the phone saying 'What the fuck' to someone in the background. This place are so dirty where they cooking in the back. Cleanliness at all time low. They did not cooked the food how I asked and gave the wrong fish. I asked for everything crispy, and everything was moist. Took it back in there , they gone look at it and ask what's wrong with it? It's not right at all and give me my money sir! WARNING! Don't get Lobster Bisque at @CaptainDs. They are REWARMING the soup INSIDE the styrofoam container! That realeases CFCs and is poison. I got the soup to go, then called immediately when I realized it. When I asked the MGR in the Villa Rica store she said, "yeah that's how we do it!" SERIOUSLY. Look at this. I appreciate the challenges fast food places are having hiring and keeping employees. Not getting an order correct is no excuse. Poor customer service skills is a learning opportunity. Sadly I do not think the management cares to spend time training. read more

My experience was horrible. I love Captain D's. I Normally go in because it is more of a sit down type of food. But I went through the drive thru this time. Well we had to move forward and wait. Not a problem well we waited and waited and waited. Finally I got in after about 15+ min. They didn't notice me and the manager was telling everyone the mac and cheese was bad don't sale it. I had mac and cheese on both my meals. Which they still hadn't made yet. So I told them I didn't want the mac and cheese. The manager she got upset with me and was telling me that mine was fine. I have never walked into a Captain D's that was this good before.. You walk in and its so clean!! Bathrooms, floors, not a tray in site. Cashiers are so friendly and suggest items if you arent sure.. I must disagree with the bad ratings of this Capt D's. I order the Southern Whitefish meal and every single time it is Excellent. It is not listed on the menu, so ask for it. It is made fresh and is huge. The staff here is always friendly and I have never had a negative experience! read more

The young lady who took our order, Emily, was very personable,friendly and courteous. She laughed at my husbands jokes, even joking back with him. This is what customer service is all about. Someone who is not there just to do a job but is there to do their job AND make it a pleasant experience for the customer, which means the customers want to come back .
