Well, the truth of the matter is, I really love the nostalgia of Pizza Hut for many reasons. Number 1, my late father and I would always have lunch dates at Pizza Hut when I was just a little girl in the 80s when it was a booming business. There were very few places he would dine in at, but Pizza Hut was one of them. As an adult, I made it a ritual to take my children to Pizza Hut many Friday nights. It was a treat for them. I'd give them some money for the jukebox and we'd order cheese sticks and a pitcher of icy, cold Pepsi. They loved it! We would wait anxiously for our large pan pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. In 2006, I moved to Marietta and this one just consistently disappointed. Every once in awhile we would get lucky and have great service and amazing pizza, but more often than not, that just wasn't the case. The last time I ate there, the phone just rang and rang off the hook. There were only a couple of tables occupied, including ours, and I don't know where all the staff disappeared to, but there was no one to be found. Nobody was answering the phone...it was so disruptive that I threatened to go answer it myself. Our waitress was incognito. If I didn't know any better, I would think she was the only one working and was on her lunch break. Anyway, I haven't been back since. If you do miss the flavor of Pizza Hut, I would suggest putting in an order for pickup or delivery. I definitely would not dine in. But even then, you risk cold pizza and inaccurate orders. It's unfortunate that this Pizza Hut is so bad. It could be something great under the right management.

The lobby is decorated for Valentine's Day and the staff was all so friendly and helpful. We ordered and our food was brought to our table hot and fresh. The sandwiches were even wrapped up so nicely it caught my eye that whoever was preparing the food took pride in the product they are putting out. The bathrooms were clean and well cared for. The gentleman at the counter was above and beyond. He set the feel for the atmosphere of this location in my opinion and he's doing a great job. He came to the lobby and straightened chairs on his down time and checked in to make sure we were alright. I even overheard the staff at the counter verifying a door dash order together and making sure they did the correct bagging procedure. It was just an overall good experience, enough for me to say "wow, I need to take the time out of my day to leave them a good review" and you can tell that this staff takes pride in their jobs. Every little part of that machine matters an works well together. Keep up the good work!
