I ordered the LandShark rolls, Boudin egg rolls, Bayou Mac, and a southern-style catfish. Let me just say... this spot was VERY good. Now the real star of the show? The LandShark rolls Soft, cheesy, packed with crawfish -- man... these were dangerous lol. I'm almost glad I didn't come here earlier during my trip because I would've been eating these every single day. No question. The Bayou Mac was also on point -- rich, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering again. Honestly, I had no complaints about anything I tried. The restaurant was pretty packed, which tells you everything you need to know. But if you're in a rush, they've got a food truck-style pickup outside, so you can grab your food and keep it moving. If you're anywhere near Oxford or Mississippi State and craving seafood, this is a must-try spot. Nothing but positive vibes from me -- I'd definitely come back. Thumbs up all around

Sausage & boiled eggs with the crawfish, and I can't remember what the appetizer we had was called, but sort of like a squishy baby lobster roll and I could eat them every day for life. Drinks were good, service excellent. Oxford favorite, for sure!!

So glad I didn't take the hotels recommendation and trusted yelped instead. The best staff ever. Teeliie (hope I spelled that right), was absolutely amazing! So kind, patient, and a beautiful young lady! I expressed how familiar I am with authentic Nawlins cuisines (my hometown) and I wanted to make sure I was at the right place. She assured me that her father, the chef did his homework and that I would be satisfied. She was right! The food was great! I tried a cup of gumbo -didn't disappoint, then tried the a cup of the crawfish étouffée and it was good too but the gumbo wins! Teelie's recommendation, the gumbo was spot on. Then I ventured out and tried the oyster poboy. I know from experience that Leidenheimer French bread is the ONLY way to go when eating a poboy. The oyster flavors were there but the bread was a BIG miss. I ate the oysters and was very satisfied. The atmosphere and warmth of the man-of-the-hour Mr. Joe Bennett (JoJo) just brought it home. His smile, laughter, and over extended kindness says it all. He provided me with a personal tour of the downstairs speakeasy....Yes! It's adorable and with live music, and a great atmosphere. Loved it. I wish I had more time to hang out but the long drive had me ready for Beddie bye. Great place, great atmosphere, and delish food too!

We waited awhile for a table, but we didn't mind as we had nothing else to do. The place is on the small side, but we didn't feel cramped. From the minute we walked in, everyone was friendly and the place feels welcoming. The food... to die for!!! The stuffed crawfish bread... delicious! Crab stuffed grouper... oh my, so good! Bacon wrapped beef tenderloin... yes, please! And to top it all off, the infamous bread pudding... do NOT pass it up!!! I cannot wait to go back.

We were seated right at the hour mark and when we sat down to order at 6:30, they were already sold out of the special fish of the day. My husband was soooo bummed as that is what we drove almost an hour for him to eat. We started with the crawfish bread which is always AMAZING and tonight was no different. EXCELLENT as usual. I decided on the fried catfish and grits which was really good. The creamy crawfish sauce is similar to the sauce on the crawfish bread without all the cheesiness. My husband went with the crab stuffed flounder with butter sauce and green beans. While he did enjoy the flounder, he said the green beans were nothing special, lacking in flavor and pretty bland. Overall a great experience, just disappointing that the special ran out before the evening service had really even gotten started. I guess that just goes to show how good the restaurant is if they are selling out that quickly.
