Infuriating to deal with. When I told him I am still in a lot of pain and having instability in my knee, his response was "well, I don't know what to do, so hopefully I don't have to see you in here" so now I'm five months into this injury, in a ton of pain, and nowhere closer to being treated. I would avoid Peacehealth at all costs. This isn't the first bad experience I've had, and everyone else I know who has gone there has had similar experiences. Quality of care is an afterthought.

Very disappointed in the care I received here at this clinic. My provider's name was Dr…read more Kolodychuk. I've been dealing with excruciating right hip pain and have nearly gone to the ER several times as a result. I had read the radiology reports of my MRI and X-rays and have been told that I have degenerative issues, moderate osteoarthrosis with osteophytes. I am 49 years old. I have limited extension as a result and am often awakened at night with significant pain that doesn't allow me to easily get back to sleep. My quality of life is greatly diminished as I am unable to walk for long period of time or exercise. The MD didn't offer any other advice that what I am able to read on-line, nor could he provide a prognosis given my age and condition. He then dismissed my concerns about my condition by stating "he has no crystal ball" and muttering things about Putin starting the War with Ukraine and how if someone would have asked him last year about him starting a war, he wouldn't believe it. I'm not sure how this was related to my hip issue, but again I felt dismissed. He then said he could refer me to PT if I wanted it, but I already have a referral and was coming to him for more specific information and a potential prognosis. He ended by telling me to stay in shape and keep my weight down, which is a bit insulting and even unrealistic given the level of pain I have been in recently. I have trouble getting up to the toilet and back at night and even repositioning in bed can be painful for me. He also asked with curiosity about why I was on disability and when I mentioned it was due to a mental illness, he became short essentially silencing me. It's providers like these that give me little hope of regaining a quality of life and living without pain. I know I am younger than probably a lot of his patients, but I didn't feel taken seriously at all and I am now left to seek a second opinion elsewhere. This is all depressing and far too common anymore. When pain and hip issues are disrupting exercise and quality of life this exacerbates depression and makes it difficult to maintain one's optimal health. This can, overtime, cause other health conditions to manifest. I often feel like giving up, but I will continue to seek help elsewhere and hope the next provider treats me more seriously. My mental health that I feel he dismissed actually does make a difference in maintaining health and well being. It contributes to the motivation and stamina needed to obtain care and follow through with exercise. I just felt he didn't take the opportunity to see the whole picture and treat me holistically. That is what is often missing in our healthcare system... We need providers that can step back and see the whole picture and how systems are interrelated. My hip is one issue, but it's effecting my mental health and my quality of life. Oh well. I am persistent when it comes to advocating for my health. This is just one person's experience. It is what it is and I can only write about my own personal interaction with him.

I was recently seen at this clinic due to years of ongoing concern of pain in various parts of my…read morebody. The receptionist had some of the best professionalism and transparency. I was very pleased with how smooth the scheduling process went and how accommodating they were with my busy work schedule. I was seen by two providers (let's say provider 1 and provider 2 for privacy purposes). Provider 1 was very helpful by discovering a baseline and developing a course of action to strengthen some of the weaker aspects of my body. Provider 1 communicated with me that they were going to be out of town for 2 weeks. They also recommended that I were to be seen 2x a week for 4 weeks. So a different provider was assigned to me in their absence. A couple of days later provider 2 saw me for the first time and we discussed my history again. As soon as they were finished doing a basic adjustment with me they mentioned they typically spend their first appointment with a patient discussing history to later develop a plan. Do providers not refer to prior patient notes at all? Wouldn't have provided 1 laid out a game plan for provider 2 to pick up at? They proceeded to tell me that they would continue to address my concerns at the next appointment. Forget about it. My job only covers 12 appointments a year and I was finished with wasting my time. Major logistical issues. Why would provider 1 be assigned to me if they knew they were going to be gone? That ruins the streamline for continuity. Provider 2 didn't seem to even mention any of my concerns and when it comes to my health and wellbeing I would rather spend time elsewhere.

This is for their Lynden location - Nice new building but that's where it ends. I contacted Peace…read moreHealth as I'm new to the area and have new ins. I advised that I needed to get a Rx refilled but was told that I was not able until I established care with one of their drs. I was told that there were no appts avail at either the Cordata or Lynden location until late Mar. I asked what people were supposed to do about Rx when appts were not avail for mns out and was told that the only option was to go to urgent care at one of their 2 bldgs I asked if they had any telehealth options and was told no, that I had to wait for an appt to go in or go to urgent care.I was assigned a dr and an appt was made for Mar. I told her that was going to be too late still so she gave me info about the urgent care locations and advised that Lynden tends to be a little bit less busy so that would be the better option. She said they accept walk-ins until 5:00. A couple of days later. I drove to the Lynden location and arrived at 4:30. There are two grumpy girls at the front, but the one to the far right is definitely the worst. When I told her I was there for urgent care, she asked me about my insurance, and very arrogantly dismissed me saying they don't take my insurance there. I told her that was strange because I had been directed to come here specifically by the peace health rep I talked . Rudy she just repeated they don't take my insurance at the Lynden location, and that I would have to go to their Cordata location. I asked what the difference was if it's the same entity, and she said that it's a new bldg. I let her know that I didn't understand what the new construction has to do with it but that's it's frustrating to drive 30 min for nothing. I then asked her if this location doesn't take my insurance then why was I assigned a Dr at this Lynden location. Rolling her eyes, she asked who my doctor was. When I told her Wang, she said that the dts at their location take my ins but not the urgent care. I told her that I didn't understand, and she retorted that It's a different dept and their urgent care doesn't take my insurance so I would need to go to their urgent care at Cordata. Then she said that they stopped taking patients at 4:15 , well depending on how many people are there (which the place was empty), so in either case she wouldn't be able to hellp. This girl could hardly make the effort to even look up at me while speaking, and when she did, it was all dirty looks- I mean blatant disdain and smugness on her face I don't actually think it was personal, I just get the feeling that this is just how she treats people in general. I was concerned about my appt so I asked her to double check that it was still on for Marc, seeing as how there seems to be some confusion as to whether they take my insurance at their bldg or not. She said yes, that it was confirmed and I asked if there was anything sooner. Begrudgingly she typed it in and as it turned out there were a lot of appts avail even the very next wk, so not sure why I was told mns over the ph. As frustrated as I was, I'm just trying to get my rx refilled so I booked an appt for the next wk. My appt was for 2:20, and unfortunately due to an accident from the sudden rainstorm that hit, I arrived at 2:31. Without hesitation, that same girl, and I quote, cocked her head and said, "yeahhhhh 13 minutes late, reschedule!" I explained to her that I apologized but I really did hit tan accident that put me a little behind and I don't need an extended appt, I just need to get a rx refilled. She said they have a no exception 10-minute policy. I literally got there at 2: 31 and that this was my second time coming down. I pretty much begged if they can go ask the doctor, She stomps off to the back and came back in with that same arrogant attitude and said, "yup, reschedule!" Okay I get it, things happen, the weather and traffic accidents aren't their fault, they don't want to bend over a minute, but dang, it's the the condescending tone and facial expressions that are just downright gross. The two times that I've been there, I've never seen that girl even remotely crack a smile or soften her face, except for when this male coworker comes by, I think he might sit behind her, then she's all giggles, but when she turns back around to look at you, she's got that dead face and attitude. All in all, I have not yet experienced the doctors or nurse care so I can't comment much on that. All I can say is that the people on the ph booking appts either don't have it together or are intentionally giving you bad info about appt availability, and urgent care info but worse, check-in will make you feel at best, like an inconvenience, but moreover without dignity. It's truly been an uncomfortable and degrading experience dealing with this location. Customer service is dead a lot of the time these days and I don't expect much, but this is bad bad, even with very lowest of expectations.

My 15-year old son has been coming to this clinic since he was a baby. Although our overall…read moreexperience has been positive (see my original review from 5 years ago), I need to downgrade the rating. Scheduling (2 stars) For acute symptoms, they are great as they have a same-day clinic and an after-hour clinic. However, when it comes to non-urgent care, we need to wait for a long time to be seen. Recently, we tried to schedule an appointment with his pediatrician, but they were scheduling more than TWO MONTHS out! I ended up calling Kaiser, and he was seen at the Kaiser Everett Medical Center the following week. Also, it's a challenge to schedule an annual checkup. My son was born in March, but his annual checkup is now in May as it keeps being pushed back because of the lack of provider availability. Provider turn around (2 stars) We have liked every provider he has had at this clinic. However, we had to switch to different providers several times because they decide to become a hospitalist and stop seeing patients at the clinic. I understand that doctors move, retire, etc. However, it just happens so frequent at this clinic, and it's not great because we would like to establish a long and solid relationship with a Primary Care Physician. Urgent Care (5 stars) Their triage nurses are ready available to answer medical questions and schedule an appointment when necessary. The after-hour clinic hours are also great. Specialists (5 stars) Because they are part of a hospital system, referral to specialists has been relatively easy (if you can get an appointment with your PCP that is). Verdict (3.5 stars) I will keep my son at this clinic mostly because they are good at providing urgent care (e.g., triage nurses and after-hour clinic) and they are the only "game" in town. ************************************************************ If you found my review helpful, please smash the "useful" button!
