They were nice , the selection was good, plus the meat & cheese plate is very nice (and fast!). My only less than happy experience was checking in on yelp & getting a notification that I would now get a a few bucks off my purchases. Yeah! Happy surprise for sure! Caps N' Taps is my go to tap house in Camas. Service is great, prices are reasonable, and the beer is awesome! My wife and I especially enjoy tasting beer on a Friday night, talking to the owner and Caroline (give her a raise!!) for a bit, then taking a growler or two home for the weekend. This place is great. A laid back local pub in a small town, you just know you are going to love it. Decent variety of beers on tap and even more in the cold cases. Haven't really tried the food, but from what I saw, it looks good. The atmosphere is relaxed and it was fun to see people be able to wrap presents at Christmas time. Love the corner with the comfy chairs and the beer barrel table. Bathroom being down the stairs is a bit inconvenient. But on the way back, seeing a picture of Christopher Walken on the freezer! 5 stars! read more

Love this place! Having recently moved to Camas, the first time we came in last week, service and selection was excellent. Came in again tonight and the same servers were in. We were greeted warmly and immediately sat down with our drinks ready to go. They had a special Octoberfest event happening so there was lots of energy and the place smelled amazing! They were serving traditional brats, German beers, and had lively music playing. We had originally gone somewhere earlier because C&T was busy. I would have preferred to wait in a line here then have gone to the first place. Lesson learned. read more

Love this place. Recently found it is dog friendly so I plan to bring my little Frenchie next time. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is really welcoming. They have a variety of beers on tap but my absolute favourite is the Sour beers. They make you pucker and are so refreshing. I don't think I'll be able to order anything else when I go here. The other night we had an absolute blast. There were about 8 of us. They had raffles and contests all the while a girl walked around giving out samples of their beers for people to try. I highly recommend this establishment and will frequent it more often. The bar is very clean. read more

Decent selection on some days. Vibe is poor. Feels like an employee break room. Servers are nice and it stays open till 10 on most nights.

The food menu is basically crackers and cheese. Good for snacking but no meals on the menu. Beers are ok, I asked the bartender for a beer with low hoppiness for my girl, he pored a glass of that was very hoppy. He was kind enough to void it from the bill when she told him it wasn't what we asked for. read more

20 local brews on tap makes for quite a sampling. Owners are young and are busting their butts. Decor was better than expected: local mill artwork...nice carved bar....3 TV's that are not too overwhelming. My son works in Camas, and I was waiting for him to finish work, when I decided to grab a beer. He recommended the Caps N' Taps, as a good place for a drink, and I was not disappointed. I got a beer on tap, my husband got a glass of wine, and we sat on a couch while we waited for my son to finish work. I got the #1 (not sure of the name), but it was good and refreshing. I asked the proprietor for snacks, and he gave me a glassful of peanuts, while I watched the soccer game on TV. Very good overall. I will go there again when I am in Camas. read more

Made my top 5 bars of all time! What a great place. Went on a Friday night. Crowded, but had live music, which was fantastic. TV's were turned off, the doors and windows were wide open, the music was amazing, and the waiters/bartenders were incredible. This place is a wide-open space, not dim or dark, with a bright, open bar. It features a wall shelves with beer that you can take home...6 packs, etc. Then there are a couple of coolers with staple beer (PBR, Miller Lite, etc). They also have a small wine selection (I don't think they serve liquor). The real highlight is the 20 or so beers that rotate as features. These are handpicked brews and the staff knows all about them. I got a sampler, telling the bartender (one of the owners) that I like a lighter lager, and he said, "I got you". He returned with a perfect selection...and I'm sitting here drinking a growler of one of them right now. The bar is opened by a group of brothers/sisters/in-laws who also have full time jobs. I chatted with a couple, and they are tired but so excited. And they should be. This place is like a dream for me. So, so chill, not pretentious at all, just relaxed. Also, the crowd consisted of everything from a group of girls out clubbing all the way up to a number of older couples just listening to the music. If you want to just chill out with good beer, easy conversation, good food (catered in from Harvest or Twilight Pizza), and have a great time, this is the place. Congrats to the owners and good luck! There are many places that you can go in Camas to have a cold beer or a cocktail. While most are fine establishments, Caps N' Taps stands out because it is the friendliest place in town. All of the staff always greets you with a smile and they remember your beer preferences. Hey, I only go there once every couple weeks but they treat me like a regular. I appreciate that. Food used to be brought in from Harvest Restaurant which is next door. Limited amount of choices but each one is outstanding. Great selection of beers on tap though I wish they would ALWAYS just keep one crafted Lager on tap. All lot of us do not like that Hoppy, Bitter Ale taste. It doesn't have to be BUD Light but a good crafted Lager. There are numerous ones available but for some reason Lagers get no respect around here even though Lagers are the #1 selling beer in the world! Keep your beer cold as your across the street competitor serves warmer beer than yours and that's not a good thing, EVER! read more

This is a new place in town, and I really enjoy it. The owners are great, very gracious and friendly. The have a bunch of great beers on tap, but also a ton of bottled beers, it would be hard to not find something you liked there. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is because the food list isn't great. I've tried a couple of the items, and didn't care for them. I'm a huge fan of this place. I brew beer, have drank beer everywhere possible locally, and generally love beer and good beer bars. This place is great! Diverse selection on tap with several names which I haven't seen at other local establishments. Plenty of bottled selections (cold and not) to drink there or take home and enjoy. Growler fills? Yes, thank you! Ambiance is very nice. Not kitschy like a chain and not school cafeteria-esque like some dives. Good, comfy surrounding. Free bar munchies (and I hear they're working on a menu). 3 large TVs for viewing enjoyment. Pleasant crowd of other beer drinkers having a good time and enjoying themselves. Nice addition to downtown Camas. Good selection of beers, nice atmosphere, but they need some time to work out the kinks. In the two times I've been in, custoemr service was inconsistent and was decent at best. Many of the bottle beers weren't refrigerated -- I assume they will eventually install more refrigeration units. Biggest disappointment was that they don't have food... nor did they even have a bowl of munchies. Seems to be a big oversight in my eyes. I will continue to go for convenience and to support local business, and I am hopeful these early oversights are addressed as they continue to work out the kinks. read more

Sorely disappointed with this long awaited opening. We told our waitress we wanted a sampler. She brought the ticket for our selections but after a long while we had to take the ticket to the counter to be filled. Our waitress was too busy talking to her friends. The bartender brought us the sampler. After finishing the sampler we sat for a very long time without our waitress coming back. Then we see her leaving for the evening. After another long wait, another waitress came by and asked if we wanted anything else. We will probably not be returning. There are too many new GOOD beer bars opening around here that I won't be wasting my time on bad service. The only reason there is one star is because this review could not be submitted without a rating. read more
