I then waited for an hour to be seen only for the receptionist to be extremely rude to me. I was eventually taken into one of the rooms only to wait another 45 minutes - I literally had to come out and check multiple times and each time the receptionist gave me attitude. The doctor saw me for 30 minutes and then sent me somewhere else to get tests done. When I called to make a follow up appointment the receptionist said the doctor would be out of the office for over two weeks, mind you I can't walk right now until he sees me again. Then a few days later I find an appointment with a different doctor in that office and book it. When I show up no one is there and they don't answer the phone for 20 minutes where I finally connect with someone she stella me that the doctor decided he wanted to leave early for the day and I could come back another time if I wanted.

This review is solely based on the unprofessional disrespectful front desk ladies! OK So let's talk about it! I came into the office on October 18th seen the doc everything went great. He put In a order for orthopedics. I told the front lady about it. She like great I'll give your insurance a call today meaning on the 18th but that didn't happen! Weeks go by my feet are hurting and my knees are starting to cave-in. I called the office November 5th One of the ladies take a message and said she'll leave a note and have her call me back When she arrives at 2 PM I didn't get that phone call! So I called my insurance to see if the order was put in. Nope! no order put in. so I called back the next day November6 now this receptionist said oh she only works on Friday! And she didn't leave a note! Okay! At this point I ask to speak to the doctor, told him It's going on 3 weeks now and I'm still waiting for The receptionist to just make a PHONE CALL!! he said he will handle it I finally get a phone call November 8th from the receptionist with so much aggression in her voice! Telling me she was sick for three weeks and that I'm not the only patient! Wow ok! So I asked her to put the doctor on the phone she put me on hold for about six minutes comes back and said he's busy then her tone changed it went from very hostile to apologetic to she's going to try to do the best she can then to shes sorry! At that point she knew she was out of line! She made the call 3 weeks later! On November 8th! How do I know.. my Insurance told me and it was approved the same day she made the call Fast forward to today! I am in the office on time as away a lady gets there after me but she goes before me I get up and I ask what's going on and tell her the time of my appointment she gives me a very vague and dismissive response I go and sit back down at this point I'm waiting for an hour now it happens again a guy that came after me was called she tries to play me like I'm stupid and say there are different doctors for different people but me and the guy are there to see the same doctor so how was he being called before me so I ask how many people are ahead of me because clearly I was here before everyone she turns her back to me and continue to do what she was doing I ask to speak to the doctor She waits about two minutes before she call his name out just three steps away from her in a different room he comes out and I explain to him what happened! Then she jumps in and tries to over talk me then she whispered to the doctor and told him I was rude to a lady on the phone but what she didn't know is all my phone calls are recorded! So not only are you a liar you're a disgusting disrespectful unprofessional worker! These front desk ladies are bad for business! They do not represent the doctor very well! Next step is HR! Learn how to talk to people!!!

My family and I have used Dr. Liswood's services for years and I have recommended him to others which is the highest compliment. Throughout all of our years of treatment we have always been treated with the utmost professionalism by the doctor and his staff. We have never once been subjected to nor have I ever witnessed any of the negative things attributed to him and his office. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating and Dr. Liswood fully explains everything and exhausts all conservative treatments available before considering surgery as a last resort. Aside from our positive experiences, the fact that his office is always busy with patients and the fact that of all of the podiatrists in the entire State of New York he was voted president of the NYS Podiatric Medical Association is testament to his care, expertise and professionalism.

Dr. Barkoff was very helpful, honest and informative about what my options were. I first took the tablets and the nail started to finally grow out, but I had to take a break because you can only be on them for a certain period of time. In the meantime I decided to try the laser treatment he recommended and that was by far the most effective. I started seeing the healthy nail grow back much faster than the tablets. I'm really grateful for his help because the nail issue was really effecting my self esteem. I highly recommend him. The office staff is also friendly and it's never a long wait.

Most importantly - they promised a review of the process so that a case like this will not happen again. That's really all we want as patients - to know someone listens and that the same error doesn't happen twice. That we're not taken for granted. Dr. Meisler's office, staff and doctors proved to me that they're attentive and that they care. Thank you!

And for what reason? It was excruciating. And it's not like it was necessary to do that for the evaluation. I ended up going to a different podiatrist after that, and that second doctor was very gentle touching that area because they knew that it had been injured. It's basic professional behavior. You don't press your finger and thumb around a foot as hard as you can, like a clamp, where the patient says it is hurt and where it's clearly bruised! It was a very negative experience and I would not go back. I have been seeing Dr Zaiff since July this year. He came highly referred to me by Dr Morgan,…read moreanother doctor I see. For years I had had a bunion on my left foot and finally this year it had been bugging me enough that I thought it was about time to see someone about it. My first appointment with Dr Zaiff was great. He is such a gentle, warm-hearted and friendly man. He took x-rays in the office and examined my foot. He presented several options to me including surgical and non-surgical things I could do to help. We decided together that it would be best that he do bunion surgery to remove it. So I scheduled the surgery for November. In between deciding to do this, I also saw him to treat a plantar wart on my foot. He used several treatment options including a pulse dye laser, cryotherapy (freezing) and a salacylic acid cream. It was a stubborn wart but finally after several visits to him he was able to get rid of the entire thing. I just had my bunion surgery last Friday (13 Nov). I had heard various things about bunion surgery. Including that it is one of the most painful surgery's you can have to other people saying I will be fine. Dr Zaiff was one of those people telling me that I would have minimal pain and would be back on my feet in no time (in fact, he told me I would be walking out of the office after the surgery...I didn't believe him!). The surgery all went well and indeed Dr Zaiff was right, he gave me a special shoe for my foot and I walked right on out of there, slowly of course! Dr Zaiff told me to rest for a couple of days, keep my foot elevated and iced. Monday (16 Nov) he called to check in on how I was doing - I reported very well, better than I had thought I would be. The pain was minimal and I was on to only taking a couple of regular pain killers as needed. I went back today for a checkup and got to see my foot without the bandage on for the first time . To my surprise there was minimal swelling and bruising and even better is that Dr Zaiff doesn't like stitches! So I was lucky enough to have internal stitches so there will be minimal scarring. Dr Zaiff and his medical team were extremely professional, friendly and made me feel comfortable. One of his Assistants Emily, sat with me right up to when my general anesthetic kicked in and kept me talking to reduce my nerves. The other office staff are always welcoming and accommodating when I come for my appointments. I couldn't have asked for a better team to get me through my surgery. I also like the fact that I didn't have to be admitted to hospital as the office is certified to perform procedures in-house. Very convenient! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Zaiff and his team, I truly had a wonderful experience for something that isn't very glamorous! Thank you!
