I showed up for my appointment on time and it took 3 employees and 10 minutes to find someone to help me and the other woman waiting with me for an appointment (the manager who set up the appointment with me was nowhere to be found despite confirming the appointment with me twice that day). It seemed like complete chaos. No one was to be found to help us despite several employees walking past us and multiple asking if we'd been helped, seeminglt gling to look for someone to help us. And then nothing happening. This happened 3 times before we finally had someone to help us. Luckily Brooks was fantastic in helping me out - he's the only reason this location receives any stars quite frankly. He was very professional and helpful in letting me test drive and helping me get a great deal.

In October 2021, I was in the market to buy a new vehicle, but the specific one I wanted, Toyota RAV4 Prime, is not sold in the state I live in. Due to supply chain issues and production, RAV4 Primes are extremely hard to find. Most dealers that I called are only selling them to local in-state residents or adding huge markups (~ 5 to 10K or more!). The few Toyota dealerships that do sell to out of state residents AND at MSRP generally have really long waitlist (6 months or more). I chatted with Patrick at West Herr in late October and he said that they could sell me a Prime at MSRP but the wait could be 4 - 6 months if I was set on a specific color, but it could be sooner if I was flexible on color. He was friendly, professional, and 100% transparent and honest from the 1st time I chatted with him. On November 11, about 3 weeks after I left my initial deposit, I received a call from Patrick asking if I was open to the silver/black color and that the vehicle was set to arrive in early December. My wife and I decided that the silver/black color was fine. Patrick was also helpful in adding / removing options/accessories that I did not want. The best part of the whole experience was that there were no surprise dealer add-ons, packages, markups, etc. This was my first time buying a vehicle out-of-state and having it shipped and Patrick and West Herr Toyota Orchard Park made me feel comfortable throughout the entire buying experience. He was very communicative and gave me updates on ETA, took photos of the vehicle when it came in. The paperwork to sign and buy the car was still done on paper and sent via FedEx. The only way I think it could be faster is if that was moved to digital/DocuSign. Nonetheless, the whole process was relatively quick and easy. Patrick even came in on his dayoff, December 24th, when the dealership was closed, so that he could meet the truck driver and load up my RAV4 Prime. The vehicle was delivered on 12/30 and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the vehicle and the service we received from Patrick and the staff at West Herr Toyota Orchard Park.

For number three-hundred, I landed on West Herr Ford of Hamburg: ** We have had our trusty family trucker'ster, our much-loved 2012 Mazda 5, since we bought her brand new in 2011. ** But she had almost 130K miles, and was starting to give us some nagging issues. ** I literally cried, and cried hard, parting with my beloved Mazda 5. :-( #RIPMazda5 ** But West Herr Ford of Hamburg was there to soften the blow from losing my dearly departed. ** I started our West Herr journey entirely online, first confirming I could get the financing I wanted; the online application and communication was fast. ** Then we shopped around entirely online for a vehicle that met our requirements; the online filtering and saving was also very easy. ** I was in email communication with John Foster and Bill Pease, who were very fast and helpful in snagging the specific car we wanted to see, and setting up the test drive. ** Buying during pandemic times, Bill and John were also totally accommodating to keep our interactions as contact-free and sanitized as possible. ** When we decided to purchase the vehicle, Bill and John were also fantastic to hold it for another week for us, so we could make a larger down payment and improve our financing. ** Negotiations were all by phone and online as well; in the end we came to a fair price and great deal that met our financing needs, and got us the vehicle that met the needs of our family. ** When it was time to pay and sign, Bill and John were again very patient and accommodating to have all of the paperwork finalized, so we simply had to sign and pay our down payment. It was a lot of papers to sign, but they put us in a private sanitized room, and it did not take long. ** We left the vehicle for some additional work, and once that was done a few days later, a couple of very friendly West Herr guys delivered it right to our home. Thanks Dylan and Dylan's pick-up ride! ;-D ** And so far, so good, #KnockOnWood!, with our new-to-us sweet wheels! ** We went with a 2017 Chevy Equinox LT; we wanted a bit more car this time around than the Mazda 5, just enough to haul our pop-up camper or bikes. The 2.4L engine Equinox LT CUV was just right! ** She's a sweet, cool white paint job, which was perfect since I prefer a lighter color car ... but she's her own thing because she has a black pinstripe! I've been watching carefully at other white Chevy Equinox LTs on the road since we picked her, and have yet to see another with a black pinstripe. :-D So LOTS of thanks and appreciation to John, Bill, Dylan and other guy :-), and Eric Miller (the financing guy), for making this all happen for our fam'! I am grateful for your patience with my email questions, your fair dealings, your pandemic precautions, and all of your collective time and effort. Friend put additional $5 grand in repairs and sold it on fb marketplace for a lousy $3,500. to an out of state buyer where it would pass inspection with the welded frame. My opinion of westherr is even worse than in my initial review. They suck beyond belief. I drive by and give them a single finger salute. Can't understand how such an unethical rip off lying business can do so well. Its not what you know, it's whose hands you grease. Thieves. If I could leave a negative 5 stars I definitely would.

Or when her frame gave out and he had to tell me that the cost to fix it would be more expensive than just getting another used car. Check struts/suspension and call me with opinion, 4. a wheel alignment if it needed it from #3 . 5 oil change , waited my week and half. Took it there early at 8am on Monday . Wrote on a piece of paper and placed it on my dashboard before I turned my keys over stating the above things as well with my phone number in #3 for calling me about struts/suspension. I get a automated text around 1pm saying my cars done. So no phone call the whole time!Go pick my car up they tell me $450 and they replaced the ball joints tire roto and balance(but they didn't put balance on the receipt because they don't charge?) wheel alignment and oil change. I paid cash just upset cause a silent anxiety attack. I drove home 15 mins away on the throughway doing 55-65 with flow of traffic and my car/steering wheel/tires are shaking and vibrating worse. Immediately slowed down to 50 got home and parked it . Couldn't sleep even sent a text back to the automated number at 6am upset that I paid $450 for work I never authorized. Also seen balancing wasn't on the receipt . I called at 8am when they opened and said what happened to me and if they forgot to balance the tires because it's not on paperwork. And idk who but told me they don't charge for it so they don't put it on the receipt ( yet they're doing work to my car, not documenting it) and to drop it off and will take 40 mins.. brang it back for them to fix and when I dropped it off , the older gentleman on the left lift he didn't seem in the best mood and sorta just hung my keys up and kept working I told him I parked it on side street and left. I had to call them 3.5 hours later saying what's the deal and . They told me ohh yeah it's been done you can get it whenever. (Again didn't call me) Picked my car up didn't even close the door from my mom dropping me off and Chris the owner I believe told me yeah check it out we looked at it is seems fine we drove it around . Also has a coffee machine, and a water dispenser etc. They also sent me a streaming link so I could actually watch my car being serviced in real time. Overall, everything was smooth, professional, and convenient.
