I purchased five items and had to return with a truck to pick up one of then. Upon preparing my item for loading, we noticed a few issues in the top finish. I ask if they could order me a new one instead of accepting the one on the showroom floor. She said she would check on it or that she could offer me 20% off. I ask her to check on the new one and let me know. No one called me back, so I called them back a few days later and they told me they cannot order a new one. So I went today take a closer look. Two different clerks were working and told me they would only take 10% not the 20% the other clerk offered to me. So I ask for a refund. One of the clerks issued my refund and did say, "I'm, sorry" and she wished me luck in finding something else. The other clerk stood at the counter and said clearly under her breath, "there is nothing to be sorry about." Well.... I sorry for your loss and any future sales to me, I liked your merchandise. But refuse to be treated rudely. It's such a nice store to have such an unpleasant clerk and so unprofessional of her.

I came in here on Presidents' Day, hoping to score some deals since the mail provided lots of flyers were different deals from different furniture stores this so happen to be my first location and stop and I so happen to score a few deals. I was able to purchase a dining room table and a couch for a reasonable price. The deals were definitely dealing this day and I think I scored a decent deal. I wish they would've worked it down to a little bit less, but I settled and still took the furniture anyways. When I reached out to their service department, I did not ask for a free replacement or a handout; I explicitly requested to pay for a professional repair to be done by their team. Georgia Furniture Mart flatly refused to even send a technician for a fee, stating that because the item is out of its one-year labor window, they will not service it under any circumstances. It is a significant red flag when a retailer sells large-scale furniture that fails structurally in under five years and then refuses to provide any path toward a paid repair or maintenance. For potential shoppers, please be aware that Georgia Furniture Mart's commitment to your purchase appears to end exactly at the 12-month mark, regardless of the severity of the product's failure. Recently I experience THE worst customer experience at American Freight…read more Last fall, I purchase the mattress for American Freight, and before end of the year, the mattress failed with deep depressions and rises in its pillow top. After filing a claim, a swap was authorized; so, when I visited the store to request the swap-out, I was there for nearly 2hrs. They requested that I pay for the delivery, despite their poor product was the culprit in all of this. Besides, they wanted ME to fund their fulfillment of THEIR warrantied exchange. DESPICABLE!!! I told them that I was NOT going to pay any delivery fee, which should've fallen to THEM!! They had to call corporate for authorization to them to pick up the $60 delivery fee...60 measly dollars...which they wanted ME to pay. Even worse, when they delivered exchange, they would not remove the failed mattress. Again, DESPICABLE!!! Though I previously had recommended American Freight to many friends; however, I will never, EVER, again recommend American Freight even to my enemies. So, BE WARNED!!!!!!!!

The store closed at 8pm so I called at 6pm to inquire about a smaller timeframe. The employee said that someone will call me in the morning (Thursday) I had a flight to catch Thursday evening so I would have appreciated an ETA. Nonetheless, I waited until Thursday. The delivery driver Jimmy called at 12:18pm and said he had to pick up my chair from the Marietta store and would be to me by 1:30pm. I didn't hear from Jimmy until 2:30pm when he called to say that there was traffic and he is just now on his way to the Marietta store. So, I said are we talking about 3:30 that you will be here? He replied yes! At 3:45pm, I called him back three times and it went to voicemail. Then I called the store and asked for a manager. I spoke with James who assured me that he would call me back within 30 minutes. Well 39 minutes passed so I called the store back yet again! I spoke with Jeremy who asked me to stay on the line so he could locate the driver and give me an ETA. He told me that the driver was in Dunwoody/Perimeter area heading towards me. It is only 20 minutes from there to my house but I said Okay so in 30 minutes, they should be here. He said yes and please call back if they weren't. So, 40 minutes later, at 5:04 Jimmy and the other delivery person arrived. It took them about 45 minutes to bring everything in. Jimmy asked me which direction did I want my sectional so he could put it together. I told him and he put the sectional together. He brought both mattress sets in and asked if we wanted the plastic off. I replied Yes, please take the plastic off. My chair was in a box, so I asked him, "Are you taking the chair out of the box? He replied yes and took the chair out of the box. It is a little after 6pm and Jimmy has the clipboard in his hand asking me to sign. I asked him if he was putting the bedroom set together and he said Oh no! We are just supposed to drop the stuff off. Excuse me sir, you clearly just put my sectional together and took the plastic off the mattresses. My daughter had a whole new bedroom set in boxes still sitting in her room. This included a headboard, frame, nightstand, and a dresser. The headboard had LED lighting. So, I called the store with Jimmy still there and spoke with Jason who said I was misinformed. I said what furniture store offers delivery but no setup. I told him that I asked about delivery and setup for $110 and NO One including the other two other employees that were standing nearby said that American Freight just dropped off your items but doesn't set up. I was beyond upset. Nonetheless, James said that he would personally come and put the bed together on Monday 9/11. As Jimmy the delivery guy is leaving. I noticed that there were some roller wheels inside my chair cushion. So, I go outside and ask Jimmy what do these wheels go to? Jimmy looked me dead in my face and said oh that is for a desk and I handed him the roller wheels. At this time, I am getting ready to head to the airport. My daughter asked the neighbor to help her put her bed together. So, as I am in the car heading to the airport, they FaceTime to inform that they have the wrong posts. Instead of a left and a right post. There are two left posts. Sigh! So I called Jeremy at American Freight. We agreed to FaceTime with my daughter so he could see exactly what the issue was. So now, it is crystal clear that the bed has the incorrect parts. Jeremy offered to come and put the bed together on Sunday 9/10 after my flight landed. On Sunday 9/10, I called American Freight and spoke with Jeremy. I asked Jeremy if my chair is supposed to have wheels to swivel? He said yes. So, I told him about the exchange with Jimmy about roller wheels. Jeremy said "We do not even sell desks SMH! We both agreed that he would come on Monday 9/11 with wheels for my chair and the correct parts to put the bed together. Jeremy called me Monday morning and said that there was a delivery nearby me so the delivery driver will drop him off and swing back to get him. Cool, no problem! So as Jeremy is attempting to put the bed together.... Guess what? The bed is silver but two of the panel boards are black. Smh! I am past disgusted at this point. I agreed to take Jeremy to American Freight to get the correct part. The store is only three miles, so it was not a problem! And I needed this handled asap. We got back to my home and Jeremy put everything together including the wheels on my swivel chair! I am highly disappointed in American Freight especially that old liar delivery driver Jimmy. I am thankful that at least ONE employee Jeremy actually took the time to correct the problem. I will never purchase from American Freight again! It is just not worth all the issues.
