Chicken sandwich was really good. Kind of reminded me of chicken sandwich we would get at home in Buffalo NY

I was not impressed with Arthur Treacher's. They just reopened in Cleveland Heights making it their…read morethird location in the area. The neighborhood was very excited to have them back. I visited because of the hype and was left very disappointed. I ordered Original Fish & Chips (with 3 pieces of fish), mozzarella sticks, and Lemon Luv fried pie. I opened my Fish & Chips order just to see it. The order was short 1 piece of fish (only two pieces were in the to go container). When I brought this up to the staff, they very closely inspected it. Then stated that the third fish is under the fries and that I must move my fries around to see it. I didn't want to touch my food with dirty hands. Upon checking later there was no third piece of fish. Every item in the meal was disappointing. Chips (which are fries) were tasteless. Hash browns were too overcooked on the outside and strangely hollow on the inside. Mozzarella sticks tasted really over fried. Fish tasted very oily. The lemon pie looked like it had been through a lot, and didn't resemble lemon. I really wanted to like the food but it was just bad. Food was up fairly quickly. The location is a pick up location only without drive thru or tables. It is just one big open area. The eatery is located across from the high school, next to a recently demolished/burned building, and very close to the traffic lights. It is hard to navigate in and out of this location. It is especially congested during the day. The parking lot is very tiny, and has limited amount of space to move around. It also has a huge pothole right in the middle. If you'll venture out to this location, I recommend parking in the local parking garage and walking to this location. I would also suggest visiting in the evening when it is less busy to ensure a better experience.

Let's start with the good/great: the fish was AMAZING! so hot I could hardly touch it! Contrary to…read morewhat some have said, the size of the fish pieces appeared normal to me. We eat 1-2 times a year at the Cuyahoga Falls location, which was until this year the ONLY Arthur Treacher around. If they changed the size of portions, it was LONG ago. Given fish & food prices... you can't compare to the 1960s-1970s fairly (and your memory may be wonky). All I can say is this was the BEST FRIED FISH I have eaten in any years, better than the Cuyahoga Falls location and just flatout perfect! we will be back! NOTE: the "original fish & chips" is 2 pcs, fries, hushpuppies & a small drink. You can order a large w/ 3 pics or extra large w/ 4 pcs. If you work the math, the 4 pc is the best value -- it's enough for us to split, since the fries are HUGE. (I would rate the fries just fair -- they were not as piping hot as the fish and needed some salt.) The hush puppies were the best I've ever eaten anywhere, ever -- hot from the fryer, SUPER CRISPY with a buttery taste. I don't even normally LIKE hush puppies and I wolfed these down. I will order extras next time! The drink is ridiculously small, like a kiddie cup. Spend an extra 50c to 89c and get a larger drink. They were super stingy with the tartar sauce, which is a tiny cup and only enough for ONE piece of fish and we ran short -- though the fish was so utterly superb, it was OK to eat with no sauce. Next time I will pay for extra tartar sauce! I didn't try anything else, but will be back SOON AND OFTEN!!! Now the bad news: it's on a busy intersection with horrible parking that is hard to get in and out. It doesn't help that the big apartment complex next door BURNED DOWN a few months back, leaving a mess. And there is NO INDOOR SEATING, despite very ample space for at least 5 small tables or booths. In the winter, I do not want to eat in my car!!! Please get a few tables! please! However: worth it for the fish & hush puppies alone. I love fish and I am not kidding when I say this is the best I've eaten in a long, long time. I am thrilled to see Arthur Treacher back! I hope it expands!

They're similar to Five Guys' fries, and that's about as complimentary as I can be. Five Guys' fries are the apex predator of the fry world. The coleslaw was super meh. It seemed like it was premade food distributor awfulness. I'm sorry if I'm coming across as unkind, but it was really bad. And yet the rest of it, especially the fries, was so good that I ate it all. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the fries. I wish they had malt vinegar in there. I'm definitely bringing my own next time like a psychopath weirdo because those fries are so dang good.

The interior is a little dirty and greasy and the prices are a bit overpriced and there's just way too many options but some of my favorite meals have come from little dives like this one so no problem here... as long as the food is amazing. Was it? My Festival gyro box was $13.50, with a 3% charge for credit card added on, and included a can of diet coke, a large portion of thiccc cut fries, and a gyro sandwich on pita bread. All of this was for takeout. I was happy to see it was packaged well for takeout and included silverware, napkins, and containers of ketchup and tzaziki sauce. I asked for light sauce on the gyro for both the tzaziki and Jamaican sauce but the sandwich was still drenched in sauce. The fries were also incredibly oily. And my god, was there a lot of fries! Yet, of course, I ate all of this greasy food like I was hungover, despite being sober as a nun. I felt like crap afterwards but there's something so addicting about all this salt and grease and sauce that I kind of loved it? Maybe? Or maybe I am just addicted to large potions of Greek food. That's probably it. I probably shouldn't torture my body with this food again. But we all know I will be back.

We returned for dinner this time and we're really glad we did. If you head to Lee Rd in Cleveland Hts you will find several very good establishments south of Cedar Rd. But if you go a few blocks north of Cedar you will come upon a cute little stainless steel diner right out of the 1950's. You have arrived at "Abundance Culinary". Modern Chinese concept curated by Executive Chef Liu Fang. Upon entering we were greeted by a very kind and professional gentleman who immediately seated us at a comfortable table in the center of the restaurant where we were quickly greeted by Nathaniel, a marvelous young man with a ready smile and quick whit. He introduced himself, filled our water and introduced their sommelier. A pleasant woman with a friendly demeanor. She explained the evenings offerings without appearing condescending. Her suggestions were spot on. The staff worked together all evening like a fine tuned machine. At any moment someone would suddenly appear at our table to satisfy our every desire. Our meal started with the "Dumplings Variety Sampler" which gave us 2 of each of the available 4 different dumplings. They were an excellent start... flavorful, with just a touch of spice yet not too filling. I followed that with the "Lamb Shank" perfectly prepared and loaded with flavors. My wife & brother had the "Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef" which they said was excellent. My sister in law had the "Dan Dan Noodles" which was full of flavor but a little too spicy for her taste. We followed our meal with an excellent cup of coffee and the "Chinese Cobbler". It was a marvelous evening with exceptional service and wonderful food. We will definitely return and you should do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.

So I sat in my car and waited a few minutes until I was ready to order the Cordelia pimento double cheeseburger ($8) and the special milkshake, Peach Cobbler ($5 for the small). After about 10 minutes, I received my order, noticing my milkshake was a bit too melty for my liking. I rarely get junk food so I do like everything to be perfect when I do indulge! It was yummy with nice peach chunks mixed in and a graham cracker pie crumble on top. But it wasn't nearly perfect enough to warrant 5 dollars amd probably 500 calories. I ate the whole shake in the car. Once I got home about 30 minutes later, I dug into the Cordelia collaboration burger. This was not worth 8 dollars. Too expensive for basically a double cheeseburger with a couple unique pickles and pimento cheese. The meat on it was great though. A good dinner but it should have been 5 or 6 bucks. I also asked for the tartar sauce on the side and that did not happen. Oh well!

Came for the Cordelia/Swenson collab for month of June - highly recommend trying the Swenson Pimento Burger, Amazing value for getting Cordelia's homemade pimento cheese on a Swenson's similar-to-galley-boy-style burger with tartar sauce and kool-aid pickles. It should be juicy, and the perfect balance of savory, cheesy and acidic, but this delivery order seemed lackluster on that. I would say the pimento cheese and saltine crackers are not as worth the value because the pimento cheese cup is so small (like a cup for condiments) and the saltine crackers are literally the same crackers you get for free at the hospital. Definitely worth trying the burger before June is over!
