I decided to go to this Wendy's for lunch because I was going to the Cedar Lee movie theater right after. I ordered a small chili and got a container filled with red water and little else. Then I saw something white floating in there and it turned out to be a packet of ketchup How in sanitary is that? I just wonder how clean the kitchen is. After the movie I decided to go to Dave's because I was still hungry, as I had so little to eat for lunch. I had two pieces of their fried Chicken which was really good! I pulled up to this location on Thursday night and the staff let me know that they were only accepting mobile orders. Perhaps order from this location using mobile means only. Pretty bad to not be able to support local restaurants through pulling up and ordering. read more

I would give zero if I can, open and close whenever they feel like it, lies and say they're "closing early" at midnight and when I asked for the managers name her name is (Joy by the way) all of a sudden "they're reopened to take orders." The whole time they were preparing my order they were swearing and calling me names. Definitely will be filing a corporate complaint as well. read more

Let me set the scene... I work at a local hospital and had just finished an 18 hour shift. I come to get a late night dinner at the drive through at my local Wendy's. Unsure of the franchise hours, I pulled up to the box and asked "are you guys still open?" I got no response so I pulled away to leave. To my surprise there was one car sitting at the window, so I happily planned on ordering at the window after I mistakenly pulled around. When I finally had the chance to order, the young lady opened the window and told me I couldn't order at the window. I asked her why? She told me I had to order back at the box. I explained to her that I tried and got no response, and she told me that nonetheless, I needed to go back around to the back of the line and order. I asked her if I could please speak to the manager to which she stated "I am the manager". Given my shock I exclaimed "really?!?", expecting that the manager would be more focused on making a sale. She replied "uhhh yea... that's why I'm wearing this shirt". She then closed the window and walked away for a few minutes, seemingly refusing to take my order. After she realized that I was fairly insistent on getting a meal, and was still waiting patiently at the window, she returned and asked "what do you want?". I ordered a burger and fries. She slammed the window shut, and yelled loudly,"I hate people!!". A few short minutes later, she opened the window and threw my my burger and fries... I offered a "thank you" to which I sadly got no response. I am still amazed at the actions of this "manager". Maybe my expectations are too high, but for a franchise that offers the option to "eat great, even late", I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the lack of customer service. Was craving a chili with a baked potato so sat in the drive thru line for I AM NOT KIDDING 25 minutes. There was a car in front of me where the chick was at the order box but was on her phone while placing an order. She was there for over ten minutes. I finally get to the order window and order a large chili, baked potatoe with extra sour cream and an order of medium fries (for later). I pay my bill and leave after what felt like forever only to discover that my chili was refrigerator cold (swear to God they must of plopped some out of the fridge into the container) an old and cold baked potato (yesterdays?) no sour cream and no french fries. I emailed corporate the next day. Did I hear back? NOPE. DO NOT GO TO THIS RATCHET NASTY WENDYS. The only reason this place must still be in business if because it is directly across the street from the local high school. Never again. I'm mad I have to write this. Drive thru. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, no mayo, extra tomato and extra pickle. Coke no ice. So I get a coke with ice. No big deal. I kindly ask for no ice and I get the window slammed shut. So it pops back open for me to hear "OH MY GOD WHY DONT PEOPLE JUST SAY THAT I HATE THAT." Umm I did. I grade fast food places on 3 things usually.... How clean they are, how they execute my order, and how quickly they do it because lets be honest, if i wanted to wait 20 minutes for my cheeseburger i wouldn't be coming to a fast food joint. This place was clean, i came in just after 11am and tables looked clean and floors and stations were tidy... From what i could see of the kitchen it looked clean as well. I placed my order, the receipt showed all the correct adjustments and when i got home all the correct adjustments were executed. My only complaint was while my french fries were hot, my nuggets were a bit on the cold side...My sandwich was also a decent temperature. I ordered, had my food and was out the door in less then 7 minutes. I consider that pretty fast for having to make my food since i ordered some changes to sandwich that would of been sitting on the warmer. Solid Wendy's in my opinion. read more

No, I haven't gone off the deep end, but I am rating a fast food restaurant with 4 stars. Why? Because not only is the food typically slightly better than you would expect (this is not a 4-star restaurant, merely a Wendy's receiving 4 stars), the staff really friendly, and the dining room very clean (a feat, considering it is across the street from a high school), but they have free wireless internet access here, which I am using to Yelp this entry. Kudos to you Wendy's for having wireless internet access in a town where that is not necessarily so easy to find! read more

By far the slowest fast food drive through! In multiple occasions (new and old management) the wait for food has been far more than acceptable for fast food exceeding 30 min. from pulling in!! Been going here since high school, and the service has tremendously went below the bar. Came here on a Sunday and saw they closed at 1 AM. As soon as it was my turn, an employee says "Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are closed." The heck? The sign said you closed at one, and you don't give me any reason other than you apologizing for the inconvenience? Whack. I was in line for over fifteen minutes (it was around 10:30 pm when I went) and there was a lot of cars in line. This Wendy's has gone down hill. I have wanted to try Wendy's breakfast, hence I went to the one on Mayfield in Cleveland Heights, and had to get out of the drive thru line (inside is closed for breakfast) due to waiting over 15 minutes just to order, and only 2 cars were in front of me. Then I went to the Wendy's on Cedar and Lee and also waited a long period of time (only one car was in front of me) to receive my food. I'm glad I checked my sandwich because, they give me one without meat, and then they provided a burnt piece of meat. This is just crazy! I wasn't sure what time they opened for breakfast, but would think they opened up at 8am because, they are not prepared to serve customers at all. Managers need to train staff to be more effective and efficient with customer service. This is fast food, and people have to get to work, not wait in line for 20 minutes waiting to be served. read more

If you have an extra 20-25 minutes to sit around and wait in the drive through due to the slowest service you have ever seen, then this is the single greatest and most consistent place for you. I have never ONCE come to this place (and I live right around the corner so that is quite frequently) and not had to wait 20-25 minutes. It is BAFFLING. even with only one car in front of me in the drive thru will I wait that long. I would in truth never ever recommend this particular Wendy's to even my worst enemy. On my way to work I stopped here to get a garden salad for lunch. General Wendy's the best, however not this time. As I proceeded to enjoy my salad, I'm picking through it bc I hate when you get those big chuck of lettuce stalk and as I go to remove a piece, I found a smashed black bug on a part of the lettuce. Sometimes they are slow with the service and always double check to make sure that they gave you all your food (a few times they forgot some of my food). Slowest service ever. Pulled in the drive-through last night at 8:04. Saw that there were no customers in the dining room, so I thought things would move quickly. I was so wrong! Waited a few minutes behind another vehicle. Waited at the ordering kiosk for a few minutes before a male voice said, "We'll be with you in a few moments." Waited a few more minutes before a second male voice said the same thing. Waited a few more minutes before a female voice said, "Hold on, okay?" Waited a few more minutes to place my order. Pulled around and waited a few more minutes on the vehicle in front of me, which ended up pulling ahead into the waiting area. Then encountered an employee at the window who quoted the price and took my payment. Handed the drink though the window without a word. Only said "Here" when handing the food through the window. No greeting, no thanks, no apology for the wait. Total time: 24 minutes. The vehicle that had been in front of me was STILL waiting, poor soul. After all that, they didn't even get my order right, and the fries were cold and tasted like they had been cooked in oil that had been reused too many times. read more
