The only reason I gave them one star is that their tent was fine after they actually brought out the correct tent as were the tables & chairs. They came to our property several times to deliver the tent and chairs for our celebration. First time, wrong tent, second time wrong parts, third time finally had the correct tent and parts. When they came to pickup they arrived with a small car and a truck with their trailer almost completely full. While entering the property this time, they hooked our gate and damaged it and the brackets so much that both had to be replaced. They almost pulled the gate completely off its hinges. The young men actually came to us and admitted what they had done and apologized. Our gate stays open 45 seconds, which is more than enough time to get through it. In over 20 years, this is the first company who has ever hit our gate. We believe this happened because they had too much on their trailer and it was hanging off the side. The owner answered our first phone call and said insurance would be in touch. When we did not hear from them, we called back and the owner said she asked the young workers who said the gate hit them. First that is not what they said to us, of course we were not their employer. And that was not possible with the type of damage and length of time the gate stays open. The gate was hooked and drug by something on their trailer, or the trailer itself. Subsequently, we never heard back from anyone at Capitol Tent. We sent multiple letters over a two year period. We sent photos, invited her out to look, etc., etc. but no response. ADVICE: If you have no choice and must use this company be sure to get a copy of their insurance IN ADVANCE. That way if they damage your property you will be able to make a claim and not be left paying for the damage as we were. Really bad form, Capitol Tent! read more
