**Very lengthy read** So, unbeknownst to me, I would be sent back to this place after having an endoscopy done and to see the exact same doctor I saw before. She was worse this time and I definitely will be filing whatever complaints I can against her. I have a condition that causes photophobia (sensitivity to light) and issues that cause my eyes to become easily irritated (mind you, we are having air quality issues because of the fire). 90% of the day, I am wearing glasses to protect my eye sensitivity and at my doctor's appointment was no exception. She walks in the room and sits down, my mom attempted to shake her hand and she initially refused twice, but then gave in. She looks at me and tells me she refuses to talk to me because I have my glasses on. I was already in a lot of pain, but because I wanted to continue with the visit so badly and find out the cause of my pain, I removed them. Like last time, she was rude when she spoke and when I asked her about the results she was reading to me (Like she was reading a See Spot Run book might I add) she would be quick to reply with "I don't know" and "That's not my specialty"...but the questions were GI related questions! I asked how could I eliminate some of the pain until my next appointment and she replied she didn't know and again, not her specialty and proceeded to hand me the test results (in "doctor lingo") and pretty much told me to read and figure it out. She did not care to listen to anything I had to say and I left the exam room in tears. I've been in pain for 5 months now, lost over 30lbs because I can't eat and she just referred me back to the doctor who performed the endoscopy and prepared the "findings" she gave to me. But the crazy thing is, this same doctor was unable to give me the results and referred me to her to get them, now I'm going back to this same doctor. I had to wait A MONTH to the day after getting the endoscopy done to get the results from a doctor who claimed everything wasn't her specialty. I honestly feel like this is their attempt to keep getting paid (since they can bill the VA...because I am a Veteran and was referred to them). I feel like I've been treated worse than a lab rat between these 2 agencies. read more
