This is second time I have taken my car through this car wash. I have tried one in Lacey and two in Olympia Westside. This is by far the best wash I have had. They damaged my car! The carwash worker began brushing an area on my hood. He brushed it really vigorously. Later that day, when walking across the front of my car, i noticed the SCRATCHES. These are not insignificant scratches. They're at least 3 to 4 inches in diameter. I went back to the car wash and talked to the employee; it was the same guy as before. He remembered my car and remembered brushing it. He even acknowledged that it was his brushing that caused the damage. The explanation he gave me was that there was a spot of bird droppings on the hood and he was scrubbing to get it out. He explained that bird droppings can sometimes contain debris, which, if scrubbed, can cause damage. This prompted a question in my head, if he knew this, why the hell did he brush it vigorously like he did? The employee then gave me a claim form to fill out. After filling out the form, he told that they probably wouldn't compensate me regardless. So not only did he damage my car, he wasted my time. I then talked to the manager. First he tried to claim that it wasn't their fault, but the employee corrected him and explained the damage was due to his brushing. It didn't change the manager's mind. So I left the damage claim form with the car wash and left the premises. If you care at all about your vehicle, don't trust it to these incompetents. read more

I stopped by the car wash after work today. The guy who was working was really nice but the job done was awful. You can't even tell I went through a car wash. The top half of my car isn't awful but the bottom half is still dirty, and you can see where the brushes tried to wash. I'll never go back, waste of $11. read more

The attendant snarked and rolled his eyes at me then continued to berate me for not pulling in correctly. He was belligerent. After being treated like this I just wanted to leave. If a quick convenient carwash is what you're looking for, this is definitely not the place. The car wash attendant has to summoned from the nearby gas station, via a number that is posted at the car wash and only comes if there's enough people working that they can actually get away to provide you service. I want to contact Capitol Express directly regarding this, but don't find a website and their FB page looks unattended-like the car wash was on Saturday. I would rather share my concerns with them than everyone to give them a chance to respond, but I don't find a way to do that. We stopped by on Saturday afternoon to a sign that said they were open and to call a number for assistance. We called and were told we'd be helped by someone. We waited about 5 minutes, just sitting there. I was concerned another customer would come in behind us and we'd be "trapped" there. When going to a car wash, it's usually something you want do quickly so you can get on with your day-especially when there is no one in line in front of you. We decided to back out and leave. I can understand not wanting to pay someone to stand around waiting for vehicles, but this model is not a good idea. On a Saturday at that. I've been coming to this gas station/car wash for 5 years. I usually purchase gas then vacuum my car or vice-versa. They recently hired a woman who harasses me every time I go to vacuum my car if I have a receipt or not to simply use the vacuums. Also, the hours stated are never when they're actually open. My favorite car wash in town. My car is rinsed clean and pretty dry. Friendly staff. The monthly subscription is a great deal. $16 wash is $39.99 for a month of unlimited washes on a single vehicle. Large vacuum area is always clean. Free use of vacuums with wash purchase. Only CON would be the posted summer hours are until 8pm but often they are closed after 7:30pm. read more

After passing through the car wash, I went to fill up with gas next door and then noticed that the fuel door on the drivers side of my 2013 car was missing. I went back to the attendant who retrieved the fuel door that was lying in the car wash! They had me fill out a damage report and Hector the manager said he would get back to me after checking with "Corporate". I've made repeated attempts at getting some resolution, but the manager won't return my call and when I do show up in person they hide in the back office.
