WHO IS THIS MAN?!? My eldest daughter is 9 and doing a project on Komodo dragons. Bedtime rolls in like the tide it is in our household... and she announces she needs pictures of dragons printed TONIGHT. We do most of our work online, so our house hasn't donned the headache that is an at-home printer since prehistoric creatures drank from swamps. She gives me the look... you know the one. I swear on all things holy, I'm immune to this tomfoolery. But after tiny heads hit their pillows, I find myself looking for FedEx Print & Go... nothing opens early enough or offers delivery. So I find a random print shop, Capitol Blue Print, and shoot off an email after 10 p.m. Rude, I know. But the little face keeps me up at night. Finally, I fall asleep. 4:17 a.m. I'm awakened by my younger child, who informs me she needs me to snack on blackberries with her. This face is also my kryptonite, so colander out, berries rinsed, and back in bed, I neurotically check my email. Mind you, it is after 5 a.m. at this point... CRAIG FROM CAPITOL BLUE PRINT IS AWAKE AND PRINTING THINGS FOR A CLIENT WHO NEEDS ACTUAL BLUEPRINTS. Not 8.5-by-11-inch photos of drooling dinosaurs. AT FIVE IN THE MORNING. I roll in at 8:30 a.m. to snag the pics, and THE MAN DOESN'T EVEN CHARGE ME. Craig gets a cape from moms everywhere. IF YOU ARE A CONTRACTOR, ARCHITECT, CITY PLANNER, or one of the many other folks who need blueprints, and you are sleeping on hiring Capitol Blue Print--specifically Craig, who is out here printing at 5 a.m. to meet his clients' needs--you should call your mom and reevaluate your life choices. read more

I've gotten 2 wall art printed with Craig now and he does a really good job. Pick up is also super easy.

Craig is very friendly and accommodating, the results are perfect, and the price reasonable, especially given my project was for a class and not professional. I like that this is a one man, locally owned business. Call ahead to make sure he's available. I almost missed him, but he stayed to help me out. read more

Amazing service and top-notch customer service! I found Craig through ChatGPT, and I'm so glad I did. I needed to get some blueprints scanned for a city planner but had no idea where to start. I called Craig, and he quickly set me up with an appointment for the next day and was very willing to help. When I arrived, he was ready for me and even helped tape up some ripped blueprints I had brought in. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole process much less stressful. He also took the time to answer all my questions and gave me really useful advice. I highly recommend his company--one of the best experiences I've had with a vendor! read more

I needed two sets of plans printed on the morning I was going to do a walk-in at the city to get an over the counter change and none of the other print shops opened until 8am. Capitol Blue Print was open at 6am and Craig was able to get the job done right away. The printing took about 15% of the time it takes to print at FedEx and was less than half the cost. So to recap this company is open earlier, they are faster, and less expensive then their competitors. Finally, the print quality was fantastic and while I only needed black and white prints, I was advised they also do color prints. Truly a great experience and I will utilize them for all my print jobs going forward. read more
