The reviews were very good, so I went last week on Thursday around noon. Im a fan of Reuben's, so I decided on it for lunch. I also picked up a fresh cut 1lb sirloin steak for supper. I also grabbed a jar of blackberry jelly which looked to have been made in small batches. The sandwich was very good. If I had any complaint, it would be that it was maybe on the small side considering the price but nothing to get too upset about. The steak was great. I made a homemade marinade and let it sit for several hours. I slapped it on the grill, 450 degrees for 3 minutes a side and 3 min on the top rack with reduced heat and it was perfect. So the clerk comes back with one roll of toilet paper unwrapped like it was taken from their bathroom. I was like, ok, fine, thinking she might charge me .50¢ or $1. I also was buying a yerba mate drink. She rang it up and it was over $7, I asked how much the drink was she said $3.49, so you are charging me over $3 for a single roll of toilet paper, and she says yes. I said no, I will get toilet paper somewhere else, I am not paying you over $3 for a roll of toilet paper, that's insane. I gave her cash, she was still holding the money in her hand telling me I could get something else. I was so confused why she just didn't take that off, she had not put the money in the register, the transaction was not complete, she was still holding the money. I pointed at the money in her hand, and looked at her as if she was trying to make a simple situation hard. She kept repeating you can get something else, I've already rang it up. The baked potato was super hot and fresh. I just wish they were a bit more generous with the toppings to potato ratio. The portion size of it was great!
