One of the few places I wasn't worried about getting food poisoning from, also seemed to have the cheapest drinks!

Our seating was right by the beach and the server was extremely friendly to us. This place was one of the main reasons that made our Sayulita trip so memorable!

I can't figure out what this beach was called (my best guess was Playa Camaron, based on this bar), but Google is inconclusive, so this review is for the beach bar as well as the adjacent beach--which is, after all, where you enjoy your Club de Playa Camaron drinks. My friends and I came out on the Saturday of our trip, for an all-night cumbia party on the beach. We left our house after 11 and stayed out until 4 in the morning. I'm 30 years old, and haven't partied like this in a while, and never have habitually; I felt a little like I deserved a medal at the end of it, but I had a great time. I drank Pacificos and a few shots of this and that, and we danced for a bit in the bar, which had an open set-up so that we all drifted in and out between the bar and the beach. We talked to strangers, and at some point, I dug a very deep hole in the sand. We came back the next day, calmer and more sober, to spend the afternoon soaking in the heat. Not the smoothest beach--gritty sand and a lot of sharp hazards in the shallow water--but we were able to rent umbrellas for pretty cheap and had a relaxing time. We also made good use of the Club. It was always empty enough that we could sidle up and get drinks quick from the friendly bartender. (It also had a public bathroom, the only one we could find in the area. Crucial, that.) The drinks were perfect for the beach. I had a margarita and a piña colada, both frosty and blended and great for the hot day in the sun. The margarita was on point and the piña colada was a satisfying treat, sweet but not too sweet. If you're looking to party in Sayulita, definitely swing by this beach and Club de Playa Camaron for the cumbia party and a constant flow of booze. It's just as good during the day, when a cold drink can greatly improve a hot afternoon.

From the availability of parking spots for golf carts, beautiful luscious walk to the venue, beautiful bar and reception area, and the literal steps to the beach, this place was perfect. The margaritas and food that were served here were some of the best I've ever had and the staff worked so hard to ensure that food was constantly served and drinks were never empty. I wish I took pictures of the food and drinks but they were so good that I didn't even think of it! I would love to rent this venue out for my own vacation event in the future!

Plus had a wonderful chat with the owners Ricardo and his beautiful daughter Denise. Where do I start? Let's begin with the food. Outstanding. I started with grilled octopus tacos marinated in salsa pastor (tacos de pulpo al pastor). The octopus was so tender served on blue tortillas with marinated onions. Perfecto. My son had the tacos de arrachera. Flank steak. Super tender beef. Prepared with chile chipotle. Must try. I then enjoyed the tostada de pulpo en tres chiles. Yes, three different chiles. It was not spicy at all- just delicious. Take my word- just order it. You'll thank me later. The place is so beautiful with it's luscious garden, bar and patio. So nice they have weddings there. You'll have a great time. What are you waiting for?

I saw it and I checked it out on a whim and I'm glad I did. I ended up going a total of three times (in nine nights). They prove their own beer and they have about 10 or 12 of their own stuff on draft. You can get it as a 14 ounce pour or you can get a flight of four beers of 4 ounces each. I had two flights and enjoyed most of them. I went back twice. Each time, I had a guest beer, both of which were tasty. The food is also really good. They have a woodfired oven. The first time, I had the veggie skewers. The second time I had the bruschetta. The third time I had the shrimp skewers. They were all very good. The place is not too loud and there is more than enough ample seating. There are three levels. Most people hang out on the bottom level, but you can go up to the deck if you'd like. It's a very nice view. I sat at the bar both times and both times found the bartender really friendly. Probably the best place to go to get a solid craft beer in PV. Oh, did they mention that they are all on draft?
