Everything felt thoughtful, comfortable, and inviting, with a level of peace that immediately made the choice feel like the right one. It was well worth the money, and in truth, far beyond what ordinary accommodations usually offer. There is something to be said for a place that not only meets expectations, but quietly exceeds them without effort. Choosing this property was absolutely the right decision, and just as importantly, offering it to guests was clearly the right decision by those who made it available. If it was a time share presentation we might have gone; we've met some interesting presenters. We've also met some we didn't like, but you get that anywhere. If you read the requirements carefully, save everything, record dates and phone conversations, you shouldn't get stung... unless you are dealing with actual crooks (that is what sites like Yelp are for). We were scheduled for a presentation at a Williamsburg site when hurricane Sandy struck the east coast. That was ETTSI, and they handled the necessary one day cancellation, rescheduled without complaining about the short notice and refunded our initial deposit (that took a letter to speed things along). Vacation Services of America sounds like a little too much trouble, even for me. So I am steering clear of them; I just tossed the invitation in the trash. Be careful what you write in reviews on sites like Yelp. If Vacation Services of America has serious complaints they may also have lawyers. The one star is for the deceptive letter; we're told we qualify but I expect many questions before we actually qualify; an award which I suspect has many requirements is no award. It is highly doubtful that "previous attempts to reach you" is genuine. We do have a caller ID which records any calls; email is easily verifiable and we haven't had a piece of mail lost in, oh lets see... never.

I called got a very friendly southern gentleman on the other end Andy, who is also the owner. I was at ease after speaking with him and booked the cabin. My wife and I arrived to a quite little town just a mile or 2 from branson landing, it is very close yet felt miles away, beautiful cabins and scenery and we'll Andy is about one of the nicest fellows I've met. Andy and his dogs greet you and you do the paper work right there at his home office and he will share all the cool spots to go that aren't the tourist crap. The cabins are amazing, comfortable, clean, just awsome. So very happy we stayed here and we will definitely be back. Great job Andy, and thank you for the memories.

We had a family vacation to celebrate my 60th birthday, with the 2 upper & lower screened in porches, we had different areas to fit us all. There was plenty of parking and we all loved walking down to pond and pool area just right out our cabin door. The only negative, there were a couple pillows on couch, & the back of couch where the back pillow is attached were torn & had holes in them. We took pictures on day of our arrival to show we did not do it. But with so many people renting the cabins you can expect some wear & tear. We had a fabulous time

Was great to get away here instead of one of the hotels. Came back on a return trip expecting to…read morestay on the Thousand Hills golf resort side, but was surprised to be booked in one of the cabins. This was much better. It was nice to have a refrigerator to keep leftovers or groceries and saved a little bit of money by making breakfast instead of going out. Our child really enjoyed the whirlpool tub and I enjoyed the dual headed shower. Dryer was good to throw our swim clothes in so they were ready for the next day. Our child was very happy as the cabins are in the flight path of the helicopter tours. As the helicopter returned, it flew right overhead. So close the pilot waved to us. Luckily they did not run all hours of the day, guess it was still off season. And didn't run at night, unlike in Vegas. Some very minor complaints...but the good outweighed these by a long shot. The A/C didn't seem to work very well on the first night we got there. Luckily a cold front moved through and the cabin cooled down nicely. A couple of mornings were cold enough our son wanted to turn on the fireplace, so we obliged. It was early May when we went, so the pools on-premise were not in shape. Also the recent flooding didn't help. So we made do with the pool at the Plaza hotel. Would have liked maybe one more set of plates and some larger glasses, so we wouldn't have to do dishes so often and could fill the dishwasher instead of running small loads. Pizza coupon provided with the room, the location mentioned has closed...or at least the website no longer lists it and Yelp indicates it is closed. Pics of the cabins are very accurate.
