The only reason why I…read moredecided to change was because I had moved to the west end of the city, so it made sense to change dental providers. All the dental hygienists I had for teeth cleaning while I was a patient there were professional and patient focused. Dr. Saran was knowledgeable, professional and provided great patient care. The clinic itself was clean and welcoming. This is the only dental clinic I have ever been to that gave a bottle of wine as a welcome package for new patients (so nice!). They also had a decent referral program. The clinic offers direct billing to insurance companies meaning you only have to pay any necessary deductibles or percentages not covered. This clinic is located in a somewhat convenient location on Jeanne D'arc nearby restaurants and a major bus route. The clinic offers evening and weekend appointments, which is also convenient for those who work standard office hours.

I sincerely appreciate a well run business and this location never lets me down. I very rarely have to wait, max of 5 mins if ever. The hygienists and dentists are very knowledgeable and do well to explain things. They're friendly, happy and social people. Plus side, they have TVs in the ceiling. Watching Mister Bean does wonders for distraction. ;) Highly recommend, which is saying A LOT considering my strong aversion to dentists!

As far as the cleaning yes sometimes they can be rough but I think that just comes with the territory, for me personally I always leave with a feeling of a clean mouth and a smile:) not only do I think there prices are fair they even told me when my benefits ran out and if I would like to proceed with the cleaning they told me exactly how much I'd have to pay out of pocket, that is something not many would do and for that they will have my business in the future! Ps : they also offer Invisalign treatments avilable and will be doing it through dentistree family dentistree as well!

I have been receiving dental care from Dr Allison McKay and her colleagues for well over 20 years…read more Dr McKay has a cheerful and positive demeanour and is a genuinely kind person. She has looked after my fillings including a cosmetic filling, root canals and crowns, a bridge, and made me teeth whitening trays over the years. She is a very patient, thorough clinician; she explains exactly what she is doing whether it be a crown installation or an oral exam. Every time I see the hygienist , Dr McKay examines me to ensure my teeth, jaws and soft tissue are all healthy! Tara, who manages the front desk is always very helpful with scheduling, insurance claims and other documents. Appointments times are well spaced, as I never have to wait very long, if at all. The hygienists working in Dr McKay's office are very gentle and considerate--I never worry about being uncomfortable under their care. I highly recommend Dr Allison McKay and her team!

I was about to start college and didn't want braces anymore. I was made by him to have two perfectly healthy teeth removed just to see if my overbite would be made smaller. It was unsuccessful. The braces did as much as was possible and my teeth no longer moved in the last 6 years of wearing them even with the removal of two teeth. The account was not in my name and yet I was the one being made to suffer. Removed my braces myself. They actually came off easily especially when you consider that the glue holding them on was 11 years old. My dentist was able to remove the back metal rings around my molars and the remaining glue on my teeth. I'm sure he could have afforded to lose 1000$ but he refused. Greedy. The braces did not do anything for over 6 years.

I was very impressed with the numbing injection for my dental work as it worked perfectly but didn't seem to last for hours on end afterwards, which is something I have experienced in the past. The front desk and the hygienists are so welcoming and caring. It makes going to the dentist enjoyable.
