When shopping at the mall, a break is necessary. Thankful to be able to have great parking space and great coffee. You are greeted warmly with a smile and the ambiance is great. I ordered a large coffee and added latte . It was delicious and I love the friendliness of staff. You can meet a few friends or answer a few emails. Or lastly speak to someone about banking options... one stop Capital experience

I experienced prompt, friendly service while stopping by earlier in the week to redeem a free drink during their MLB Mondays promotion. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was made in record time. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Since it was midday on a Monday, Cary Street was moderately busy but I was able to grab a parking spot on the same block. It's a good choice for a quick drink in Carytown.

Love this location in Carytown! Great for WFH, meetings or a date although it feels more like a workspace that a date spot! Members get 50% off their order. There's a classroom in the back, and workspaces open to all and ones for reservation. Unlike other lounges, there are bathrooms upstairs!

Came this way for assistance opening up a joint capital one savings account and to get coffee and didn't expect much on the coffee side. First of all, a handsome gentleman with a magnificent mustache greeted us with a great attitude (Later we discovered his name was Chris, he helped us out SO much later on and totally deserves a raise). We told him why we were here and he explained to us the process of doing it on our phones and told us to get our coffee and one we get started he'd provide any help we needed. The cashier was also super kind and the coffee menu looked great. We both got seasonal coffees which were AMAZING! When Chris had to leave, a very friendly woman named Wai (also amazing and deserves a raise) took over who was able to call support for us when we forgot to enter a promo code when starting up a checking account so we could get the bonus money! She was great to chat with and had a lot of wonderful recommendations. Would totally come back just for coffee and vibes. Coffee here is amazing, service is amazing, the place is cozy and there's lots of seating, and if you use a discover or capital one card you get a big discount!

I came here for a coffee and got a vanilla latte($7). Drink came out in about 5 minutes. The latte was quite good! It was sweet but you could still taste the coffee. The interior had a chill vibe to it. Staff was friendly. Overall a cool cafe to come to for coffee and to get work done. Drink(50%):7.5 Staff/service(25%): 7.0 Value(25%): 6.5 Overall: 7.1/10

The Capital One Café in Carytown is a new cute lounge, café. I met a coworker here to work in The co space. This café also has meeting rooms upstairs. The Bartsia was nice and recommended some Customer favorites to order. Currently capital one Café is serving their seasonal holiday iced mint mocha drink. The smooth blend of chocolate, mint, and ice creates a delightful treat. The subtle hint of mint adds a cooling touch, making it the perfect pick-me-up. The ham and cheese croissant was also very good. The croissant bread was buttery and flaky . The ham and cheese filling was heavenly And the orange glaze spread elevates the sandwich.

One of my FAVORITE coffee shops, especially if you have a Capital One card. Coffees and drinks are reasonably priced and great quality. I enjoy their selection of seasonal options as well. The cafe is roomy, with plenty of seats and study rooms - whether you are meeting a friend or wanting to get some work done, this cafe is perfect.

I love this cafe and enjoy hanging out and getting my work done. The ambiance is always clean and quiet. It gives typical cafe vibes. While I haven't tried any food items, I have gotten coffee here a number of times. I recently tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It was very good. If you pay a Capital One Debit or Credit, you receive 50% off on your coffee. The baristas have always been pleasant in my experience along with the bank tellers. I like the relax environment that Capital One has created with these cafes. You can take care of your banking needs while drinking coffee and being production in other ways There are conference rooms and co working spaces along with traditional coffee tables. Free parking lot next to Tiny Vegan on the side street

First - tip for you - if you have a Capital One credit card, be sure to use it as it gives you 50% off your order! Nice trendy open bright place. I ordered their horchata brown sugar oat milk cold brew. On a hot day, it's highly recommended! Service is friendly, fast/efficient.

Came in to read while my husband had to work on his laptop, and this place is a must when working remotely! They have multiple nooks and meeting rooms where you can work with more privacy, or general seating to hang out. They serve local coffee, and I got a seasonal spritz and a breakfast sandwich which were both delicious! You don't have to bank with Capital One to come here, but you do get a discount on drinks if you have a card with them. I do with they had more private rooms or limitations on how long you can use them, as they were all full the entire time we were there (2+hours)

The coffee here is good and priced reasonably. Of course I'm biased because I love C1, but the ambiance is so cool!

The only issue I have about VACU is they aren't as up-to-date on technology services like for example, Navy Federal, which in all fairness, is a much larger worldwide credit union. Their website is rough and their mobile banking is not very efficient to use, IMHO. Like your deposit under $200 would hit right away with Navy Fed but with VACU, you won't see it until maybe 24 hours later after 9am. VACU is just local to Virginia and all we needed to qualify for membership is be a resident of Richmond. But in any event, I have to give a shout out to Sharon for helping me notarize a document using e-verify, which neither of us had done before, but she was cool and patient with the process and we got it done and this service is free as a member of their credit union.

The right move, but resulted in us leaving a lot of meat on the bone when it came to exploring Richmond. With the one full day we had left, we visited the American Civil War Museum, found the Emancipation & Freedom Monument, drove through some of the historic districts and up along the shallow rapids of the James River. It was all great, but the further we went, the more interesting the city became. The art and food scene was everywhere downtown, with galleries, cafes, breweries and restaurants dotting the streetscape. Found Edgar Allan Poe's home on a cobblestone street. I didn't know he lived in Richmond, too, as he also spent years in Philadelphia in addition to his main domicile in Baltimore. That dude got around! My main interest was in the Civil War, which is why we went to the ACWM. The best part of that center was the creative adaptive reuse of the old Tredegar Iron Works. That early 19th Century complex made much of the armaments used by the Confederacy and all the red brick manufactured to build most of the original buildings in the city and surroundings, including the industrial development where this factory was itself set up. The remaining large smokestack and metal waterwheel definitely caught my attention. That used red brick is literally everywhere. The Virginia Statehouse is right next door, and Jefferson Davis' Mansion (White House of the Confederacy), not far away. That Richmond is but 75 miles from Washington, DC, is astounding and explains why it was under siege by Union forces for so much of the hostilities (and why General Lee spent such efforts to bring the war to the north by invading Pennsylvania and threatening Washington itself). They were too close to ignore and offered attractive targets of opportunity for the Army of Northern Virginia. Richmond deserves a lot more time to discover its history, charm and secrets. We will be back.
