I recently bought a used 2003 Ford F-150 pickup but it only had one key. The truck is so old that the Ford dealers cant and don't provide replacement keys for their own products. Even if I got the proper chipped key blank and had it cut I need two keys to be able to self program any additional keys. Chris is top notch! Needed a key cut for my classic BMW on a Saturday afternoon. I called around to other locksmiths and as expected they either would not or could not cut the key from a "key code" that I provided. BMW would cut me one on Monday at a cost of 78 $ and 2 days wait as they now farm out thier key cutting and have to wait for the key to be cut by another service and just act as the middleman. Chris'es service is different. He wanted to research the kind of specific key that should be used when cutting one and wanted to know where I obtained the "key code" for the key that I wanted to have cut. After reasearching this and calling me back he was ready to cut the keys (yup, 2 keys and not just one are included in his basic key cutting service) I met him locally and paid for the keys within 20 minutes! Other locksmiths were talking about emergency service fees since it was Saturday and driving out to use bladders and other tools to open up the vehicle. Naaa man! Ive got the code for the key and just need someone to fire upt thier cutting machine and masterfully create one for me. Its on me and my responsibilty if the key code is wrong and I understood that. Chris is amazing! I bought a new to me (used) Toyota RAV4 and was only given one key. A week after I bought it the fob stopped working. I bought a used truck that came with a single transponder key. Without two a professional is needed to program another.
