Tonight I decided to try the lemon flavored vodka by deep Eddy. For some reason, I thought it was going to be a week flavored vodka so I poured an 8 ounce glass and that was a big mistake lol. I poured half into another glass for later (maybe) and I added club soda and some sprigs of mint to this glass as well as ice cubes. It's delicious. The store itself is very clean and organized, and I'd say if they don't have what you're looking for I would be shocked. They also have an impressive line of mixers from many different companies, which was pretty impressive. You want a jalapeño infused simple syrup? They have it (yes I know it would be pretty easy to make by scratch, but it would be a little time-consuming and sometimes we're just lazy). This is a very nice store and the prices are very competitive, so check them out if you're ever in Craaannston!

Seriously, they offer deals like nowhere else I've ever seen. If you are looking to stock up for a gathering (or for yourself; no judgement! Lol), definitely check this place out. I'm not sure how they decide which selections they're basically gonna give away, but it seems to be random & is always something different when I stop in. Typically there are various cases (24 cans) for $13.99 and 12 packs for $6.99. We stopped in this week and the deals were so good we ended up stocking up for the whole summer. The gentlemen that work the counter are also great and always willing to help you out to the car if you find your hands are full.

All of these are new to me except the After Midnight which is for hubby. I got two different sparkling, a rosé & four different whites. All this fabulousness for $51.96 (3 bottles for $12.99). Because I am a math dork, I looked up the average price of the bottles - if I purchased at a regular liquor store, this box of 12 would have cost between $170-$200. WOOT WOOT!

It's organized without feeling overly polished or sterile, and it's easy to walk around and actually look through the selection without feeling cramped. The ample parking is another plus, which sounds like a small thing until you've tried making a quick stop at a place where parking is a hassle. I was particularly happy with the beer selection. There's a good variety, with enough choices that you can find the familiar stuff while still having some opportunities to try something different. The wine selection is even better. There's a pretty broad range, so whether you already know what you want or just want to browse for something interesting, there's plenty to look through. They also have a decent cigar section, which was a nice bonus. It's not the reason I would make the trip by itself, but having a cigar selection alongside the beer and wine makes the store a little more interesting than your typical neighborhood liquor shop. Overall, I had a good experience at Atwood. Clean store, plenty of parking, good beer and wine selections, and a respectable cigar section. Nothing about the visit gave me a reason to complain, although I reserve five stars for places that really manage to distinguish themselves. Four stars feels right here. It would have been fairly simple for the manager to refund me the 23.98 but instead he was not very nice and told me he couldn't do anything about it, I would have to call my bank. The bank filed a claim but they're going to have to call Atwood anyway and it will just take longer. Shame on the manager on duty today, Monday, January 3, 2024!

The store is a limited selection of choices, but they will grow as time goes by...you can find mainstream beers like Corona but also some specialty beers...same with wines...they have some really interesting labels from all over the world.
