This was the most traumatic experience of my life. Dr. Fife-Brown was suppose to remove one small polyp from my ovary. She offered the procedure be done at a hospital. I declined saying in the current pandemic, I prefer it be done in the office. I was expecting one quick snip. WITHOUT ANY FURTHER VERBAL EXPLAINATION of the procedure she was about to perform, she scraped my insides raw. After I apologized for the screaming and explained I have never experience this kind of pain, even during child birth, she did not offer me any suggestion for pain. She exited the room quickly saying "she hoped I had a better day". I feel like I was her first client out of school. I had to research on my own to find out she performed a D & C. I am currently giving them a neutral rating because they did not give me a call or email like most clinics do a week before the appointment. This caused me to miss an appointment and have to pay them $100. I am about to rebook my appointment to see if they have knowledgeable expertise. The start has been bad because I did not get a reminder email or call for my appointment (which I do recognize is half my fault). Yet, I am quite desperate to learn of pcos management which does not have adverse side effects. (The pill i was put on by another doctor caused depression, anxiety, facial hair growth, pain in my ovaries, and acne. It actually made all of my symptoms intolerable worse). I am willing to give them a shot, but I am reasonably skeptical. read more

I spent most of the little time I had with the doctor having her ask me details about why I was in front of her instead of the other doctor who I had seen previously. According to reception, since I hadn't seen the primary doctor in over 8 months, I had to see the family doctor. Dr. Kaye (sp?) seemed annoyed by my presence. They did not check my vitals. When I asked questions pertaining to symptoms I was having, they simply told me to see another doctor about that even though the symptoms I was having (according to webmd) could be a sign of serious problems. Later, when I called to get test results, I was told that if I hadn't heard anything I should just assume everything is okay. Evidently they do not follow up with you unless there is a problem. However, considering the bad service thus far, I said, "since the consequences of someone not following up with me on a test result could be fatal to me, I'd like a little more assurance that my tests came back normal." I was especially worried since the technician who performed my ultrasound specifically said that my doctor would have a few things to follow up with me on. Capital City said I'd have to make an appointment for that. Which means waiting about a month for an appointment, then missing more work to obtain the results of tests that they've already been paid to provide. I won't be back and I'm currently seeking recourse to report the poor service to Alberta Health Services. read more

It's a nice clinic, I didn't have an issue with the staff the other reviewers mentioned. It was always very busy so I would have to wait past my appointment time to get in to see the doctor so I started scheduling my appointment as early in the morning as possible to avoid the extra wait time. read more

The doctor i seen wad amazing but the recipients was not the greatest. I uave been calling all day to cancel my up comong appontment as i got a new doctor at a clinic near me and i cant get through. I keep getting their lunch message stating that they are closed from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. but yet it's 10 minutes to 1 and they're still not open. I would not recommend this Clinic to my enemies. Horrible customer service when it comes to phone calls and waiting in the waiting room to be seen by the doctor. I waited for over 45 minutes to be told the doctor was 45 minutes behind schedule to still sit there for another 15 minutes to be put into the doctor's room. read more

Worse clinic ever.Rude personal, while talking with me the receptionist said the somebody on the other line is calling so she has to answer she let me wait and did ask the other person to hold so we can finish the conversation she help the other person and hang up on me .This is not the first time im experience this ,six months ago they hang up on me and they said if i want to book that appointment or go somewhere else.Also i saw dr Krystle for one year and my problems are the same not improving so don't go to this clinic you will regret! !!!!!!! read more

100% Agree with the first review. My appointment was less than 5 minutes max. She asked a few questions, barely assessed me but had already came up with an answer. She would not listen to what I had to say about my symptoms, completely dismissed my previous medical history and ended with saying it wasn't an issue that she deals with and left. Thats it. Done. Back to square one. I felt like I was a waste of her time. It was the most unpleasant experience. I would highly recommend seeking out a completely different clinic. read more

This is great for the city of Edmonton and for the woman of Edmonton to have such a centre. The receptionist are warm and friendly and I professional. They took time to care and that's what I like when dealing with my personal womans issues. read more

I first went in to have a regular procedure done. After months of waiting for the first appointment (despite a direct referal from my doctor) I went in, sat down in a room, and waited for 20 minutes until the doctor I had came in. She looked at me for maybe 5 minutes, told me to go home because she couldn't do anything today. The clinic didn't tell me when I made my appointment that not only did you have to be on your menstrual cycle, but you needed to buy the marina ring yourself. This was unpleasant news, but I had to deal with it obviously. 6 MONTHS GO BY, and I haven't talked to one real person that was able to help me, and the only time I did, the doctor wasn't in (this is after 2 months of calling in on my cycle to be told the doctor wouldn't come in). It has now hit 7 months, I talked to a rude receptionist over the phone, and was told that not only would the doctor I was supposed to see not come in, but that it was their policy not to transfer doctors. Absolutely ridiculous. In a clinic such as this, people should feel comfortable and welcome, not pushed away and treated like dog crap. No point in going to this clinic, you're better off dealing with whatever you have than going through that. read more
