He made lifelong friends among both the crew and his fellow campers. Of course, he loved every moment of SCUBA diving, but I was pleasantly surprised by his newfound love of hiking, and he even came home asking if he could sign up for more math and science at school because he knows he wants to work in marine biology now! This is a non-religious camp which no information anywhere about a certain dresscode nor was her bikini remotely inappropriate from a parental perspective. I do not want my daughter to believe her worth is based upon the clothing she wears or that anyone can tell her she has no self respect. What I wanted to be a fun experience for my daughter turned into a tragic, disrespectful experience.

We drove 45 mins to get here but I am so grateful that they had such a nice time. All equipment was provided and fit them well. My only recommendation would be for The Dive Shop to have a concrete plan on how to accept tips! I wasn't sure how or who to tip and felt a bit awkward. I wish they had told me when I signed the paperwork that I would have the option at the end.

We discussed what kind of diving I wanted to be doing and he helped me pick out the gear that was best suited for my goals. It was really laid-back and stress free. The shop is doing a good job of following Covid best safety practices. The thing that REALLY impressed me was that I was able to get a PRESCRIPTION diving mask on-site that I was able to take home with my same day. I was SO HAPPY about that.
